Immediate past minister of state for budget and natiobal planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has sent a letter of appreciation to his teeming supporters who stood by him in his quest for the governorship ticket of the party.
Agba was a leading aspirant in the race for the ticket until forces coalsced in a grand political and conspiratorial alliance that threw up a member of the other camp as candidate.
But Agba, THE CONCLAVE reports, has put the developnent behind him even as he pleaded with his supporters to join hands with him to work for the victory of the party in the scheduled Septenber 21, 2024 governorship poll.

“Your tireless efforts, going door to door to sensitize our party members, making phone calls, and spreading our message on social media, have made the difference.
“Without you, there
wouldn’t have been the PCA Movement.
“As we move forward, I want you to know that your commitment to our shared vision did not go unnoticed.
“Together, we will continue to strive for a positive change in Transforming our
Rural & Urban Spaces Together as we support our candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo to reclaim our dear State for our great Party, the APC.

Prince Clem Ikanade Agba support and just nominate prince clem agba for Governor of Edo state
23/01/2024
Retrospect on Prince Clem Ikanade Agba on the Prof. Ihonvbere-led Screening Committee recommendation of six aspirants.
Amb Stephen Bobshoe:
I have told few of my friends and acquaintances that my astute support for Prince Clem Ikanade Agba’s governorship ambition, is not emanating from a quest for material or tribal gratification, but from the fact that he is a complete gentleman with good morals and values.
Unlike other aspirants, everyone would agree with me that aside his outstanding performances as a Commissioner in Edo state and a minister of state for Budget and planning; Prince Clem Ikanade Agba is not a desperate or irresponsible politician.
The much talked about screening report on aspirants has been laid to rest with Prince Clem’s appearance on Channels Tv “Politics today” with his meticulous narration of how the events unfolded and with this everyone now understands the true picture of things.
It suffice to explicitly say that the screening committee concluded their job as an advisory body with a decision to have two (2) governorship aspirants from each senatorial zone, which is in accordance with the initial agreement that the party ticket should be opened to all zones in the state, and if at all there was any need to further prune to numbers downwards, it would have logical right to have one (1) governorship aspirant from each of the three (3) zones in the state and not to completely extricate any zone from the list.
Also, the six (6) aspirants earlier agreed upon should have been invited for a discussion as to have a seamless process of selecting the consensus aspirant for the party and not to hand twist anyone for personal preference of aspirants.
We want to appeal to mischief makers to eschew making problems for the party and support the recommendations of the screening committee, by allowing the six (6) short listed aspirants go to the field to test their popularity and who ever wins will get the full support of other aspirants and members of the party.
But any attempt to unruly muzzle out any of the 6 shortlisted aspirants will be met with a stiff resistance and the effect would be quite enormous for the party to handle, before and after the elections.
The party stakeholders MUST ensure that fairness to all of the 6 short listed aspirants is the hallmark of the forth coming primaries, as anything short of that will not be acceptable to the party field Marshals that have genuinely stood and defended the interests of the party Pro-Bono, all these years.
