2023: Despite Criticism of Muslim-Muslim Ticket Bishops, Pastors Storm Venue of Unveiling of Shettima.

Among dignataries attending the event which is currently holding at the Musa Yar’adua centre in Abuja are coalition of Bishops, pastors and other Christian groups.

The Bishops were spotted in their numbers dressed in their cassocks.

This is contrary to the position of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), which has vehimently condemned the choice of Muslim-Muslim ticket as insensitive to the ethno-religion diversity of Nigeria.

Recall the Christian body had on Tuesday issued an official statement rejecting selection of Kashim Shettima as the running mate to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

One of the Bishops who spoke to journalists said that they were at the event to declare their support for Tinubu-Shettima presidential ticket!

(a) *To a maximum fine of N1, 000, 000 or imprisonment for a term of 12 months or both;* and
(b) *In the case of a Political Party, to a maximum fine of N10, 000, 000".*

We, hereby wish to write unequivocally and with high sense of responsibility and patriotism that we have unanimously endorsed HE, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress APC as our preferred Candidate For 2023 presidential election in Nigeria
Our resolutions as initiative for ideal renaissance and values in Nigeria is predicated on His democratic track records, respect for human rights and believe in good governance.
As a Socio – Political organization that was established to sensitize and educate the masses on the right and privileges of political participation and development, adherence to the rule of laws, and the propagation of good governance in an evolving and dynamic society. The organization activities covered the nineteen (19) northern states and Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja, the state structures are manage and administered by states Chairmen’s and the local government Chairpersons who oversees the affairs of the local government to the wards and voting points under his or her jurisdictions
Political stability is a precondition for economic growth, prosperity and general development. Political stability requires good governance, selflessness, adherence to democratic principles, respect for the rules of law, human rights and dignity, transparency, accountability and participation by people in the political economic affairs of the nation. It was on these notes that this organization (Northern Initiatives for the Promotion of Bola Ahmed Tinubu) was formed in March 2022 as an affiliate of an organization, ‘NORTHERN INITIATIVES FOR THE PROMOTION OF IDEAL RENAISANCE & VALUES’ which was registered with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) IN 2014.
The need for political participation and orientation of our people which under – pins our economic policy is the provision of good governance in all it ramifications, by upholding the sacredness of constitutional processes, and a clear principles which stand against corruption and corrupt practices, it was from the forgoing that we identify ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU and belief his aspiration and dreams for better Nigeria, that make us to initiate sensitizing Nigerians since march 2022 and we are gladden that he emerged as a flag bearer of our great party APC. However, we are not new in this adventure as we have been in the forefront for President Muhamau Buhari emergence as the President of our country through popular democratic process in 2015 after serious concerted effort, although we were not carried along in his government till date, but is on record that we aided in actualizing his ambition of becoming the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria and we are proud of that. By the grace of God, we are resolutely sure that we will replicate that performance if not surpassing it for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2023 so that he can continue the good work of President Muhamadu Buhari.
In addition, our initiative is ever ready to work in collaboration and synergy with the Tinubu campaign council and other support groups to accomplish these onerous tasks.

MISSION
To lay the foundation for good governance, social changes, renaissance and inclusive works for socio – economic development and integrations of the underprivileged individual, groups and communities in the northern Nigeria and beyond.
VISION
To break the vicious cycles of poverty and socio – economic isolation thereby restores hope for a better future. We believe that every person has the right to access resources and opportunities in order to live and develop with dignity and to become a positive contributor to human development and emancipation.

OBJECTIVES
To promote the ideals and principalities of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in northern Nigeria and beyond
To reinvent the philosophy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to market his candidacy to Talakawas through the local dialects in northern Nigeria and beyond
To work for the social development of the underprivileged individuals, group and communities
To propagate good governance and ensure healthy monitoring of government programs and project to meet internationally best standard and practice
To promote healthcare, social hygiene and environmental sanitation periodically for a healthy society
To assist in the process of social integration and personal realization of the underprivileged children , widow , orphan , adult and families
To endorse the implementation of universal human right protocol , the right of children and young people as well as the right of the underprivileged individual , groups and communities
To collaborate with national and international partners to minimize the high level of inequality in the society
To synergies with political party and leaders who have a well articulated developmental agenda and manifestos to build the society for the good of all.
