The innocence of a child brings trust and reliance on an adult's instruction hence questioning it are not constant with the exception of the smart ones.

Effective and constant communication with your child is salient to building their trust, confidence and secret sharing without fear or intimidation of your presence. It also helps for effective correction taken when they trust you as their parent.

Create time for bonding, spiritual guidance, healthy games and family fun time to enable them feel relaxed and loved.

According to Oxford dictionary, 9th edition, a prey is defined as a person who is harmed or tricked by somebody especially for dishonest purposes or to be harmed or affected by something bad. For example, a child should be taught to say no to strangers and run home, tell daddy and mummy if any member of the extended family is making any sexual advances towards him/her, to say no to negative peer pressure, no to drug abuse, alcoholic intake, clubs, hooliganism, cultism, sexual immoralities (homosexualism, lesbianism etc)

The future of every nation is her (the) children. The ability to nurture and monitor one’s (children) future is a collective responsibility of every individual and the government of a country. An example that comes to play was when there was an impending war in Great Britain. Every child in the country was tagged including the name and number (I guess), while the adults were left behind. This shows that Great Britain takes pride in its future and the protection of such was utmost to the nation.

The Bible posits that children are the heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward. Be that as it may, if the protection of the interest of children is not paramount then there won’t be the need for some states in Nigeria to have domesticated the Child Rights Act. There won’t be the need to carve out the social welfare department/unit under the Ministry of Women Affairs in Nigeria either.
