I attended today’s plenary session as the Senate resumed legislative business after a 4-week recess.

The session was presided over by the President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON.

The recess gave us the opportunity to return to our constituencies for party primaries. I sincerely thank His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, for ensuring peaceful conduct of primaries across Akwa Ibom State.

I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District for the overwhelming support that made me the All Progressives Congress Senatorial Candidate.

As the Senate resumes, I am turbocharged to do more for the progress and development of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large.

On Sunday, I witnessed the APC collation of results for the presidential primary election and the declaration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s sole candidate at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Today, I witnessed the collation of results from the primary elections of the All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted in Akwa Ibom State by the State Returning Officer, Governor Umo Eno.
