Hardness scares off the daydreamers and the timid, leaving more opportunity for those like us who are willing to take the time to carefully work out the best path forward and then confidently take action.

We believe firmly that a book is only as good as it's author.

What we read is more than ink on paper, it's the author's life, thoughts, imaginations, experiences and sometimes their fears.

When choosing a book, it'll be good to do a bit of research on the author (if the information is available). Just to get an idea of what you're about to dive into.

What are your thoughts?

We love this video by Success Power in which shares the value that is contained in a book. It's way beyond ink and paper.

A book contains years of experience, trials and errors so you don't have to go through the same mistakes the author did.

Do you agree with this video? Yes/No? What are your thoughts?

Thank you for this incredible work of art. I couldn't drop it until I read the last word.

Never in a century would I have guessed how Chad and Kanyam would meet. I loved the twists, turns and flips but most of all the happily ever after ending.

Better Health, Better You with Victory Oyebola

- Be conscious of lifestyle measures. It's important to create healthy habits so you can pass on healthy habits to your children and to those around you.

- It's always better than to prevent diseases than to cure them.

- Learn about healthy habits so you can improve your lifestyle. Don't stay with unhealthy habits and do nigerian "odeshi."

- Work with a nutritionist, fitness expert to get the best for you. Google isn't always right.

- In all lifestyle habits, balance is key. Try not to overdo any of them

What to do if you ever get a bad report from the doctor?

Keep fear out and read success stories. No matter the disease, someone has come out of it.

Take control of your emotions. Don't allow negativity overwhelm you. Managing emotions take practice, start early.

Talk to friends and confidants. Don't keep negative emotions bottled in.

Practice gratitude and choose to focus on the positive. Focus on the good around you despite the negative news and see the brighter side.

Suggested Lifestyle Habits

1. Exercise - at least 30 minutes daily exercise.

2. Stay away from excessive salt intake.

3. Reduce processed foods.

4. Eat fruits and vegetables. Eat a variety. Make it a daily habit.

5. Stay from stress, worry and anxiety. Take out time to rest.
- Take issues that you cannot handle to God, if you believe in Him.

6. Reduce the level of sugar intake. More water, less fizzy drinks.

7. Maintain a healthy weight.

8. Stay away from alcohol - this has more damage than benefits. This makes fat accumulate in your body.

9. Drink water - water helps your body stay optimal and it helps your digestive system.

10. Get enough sleep. This helps your brain to rest so that it doesn't send the wrong signals to your body.

Changing your lifestyle takes a while, don't give up. Look out for your friends and family.

Look out for the long term benefits, ask yourself how do I want to look and feel when I'm 50 or 60.

Your body adjusts over time to healthy habits. Don't give up on yourself.

Let's do a bit of throwback of our favorites - books.

It's amazing how they've evolved over time. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to write on stones.

I'm sure the energy required was more than what I'm using to write this caption 😂

Growing up, I saw more brown paper than white paper.

Have you read from a papyrus codex before? Swipe to see an example.

What's one book you can never get tired of reading?

Okay...maybe two.

I bought this while I was an undergrad and I just love the story. I've read a lot of Lori Wick and I love her stories. So much love in one sentence.

This is one book I can read over and over again.

What's yours?

Self care isn't restricted to eating your favorite snack, time at the spa or sleeping only.

Whenever you take out some time to invest in knowledge that grows you, you are practicing self-care.

Whether you are on your bed reading a novel that stretches your imagination or in a classroom learning from a teacher, you are taking care of yourself.

Let me see a ❤️ if you agree with me.

We automatically prioritize what's important to us.

When we link habits to our desires, it's easier to keep up with the routine.
