*RSA felicitates with Governor Ododo.*

The founder of RSA Political Forum,Hajia Ramatu Shehu Atta has joined other APC leaders in Kogi State in celebrating the first year anniversary of Governor AU Ododo's administration in office. In a release sent out, she congratulated the Governor and his team for the work done so far. She is of the view that the administration has proved the doubting Thomases wrong as to his capacity to lead Kogi State to the promised land.

So far, 'he has proved to all that he is the governor of all, not minding the political leaning, tribal difference and gender that seem to be our differences', she added. As a father figure, he has united all and promoted one love amongst all the indigenes and even settlers in the state.The relative peace we have witnessed so far is an evidence of his leadership skill.

His administration has also promoted the ease of doing business through his predictable effective public funds management policy which ensures that payment salaries and other staff welfare are released at their due date.This helps to support the local businesses in the making business projections and smooth flow of MSMEs.

The emphasis of his administration has always been making effort to take the government to the people through various support programs that his political appointees have served as the driving force, she emphasized.

His networking effort aimed at reaching out to many stakeholders within and without the state has opened a floodgate of cooperation and supportive ideas for his administration to tap from and provide an embarkment for the government.

It is her prayer that His Excellency and his team continue to up the game for the development of the entire state. She calls for more support for the administration in the area of further collaboration with all others whose experiences the government could explore to achieve better results.
She wished the governor and his team successful tenure in the years ahead to break new grounds.

While we collectively wish her a happy birthday in Kano, we pray that she celebrates more years in sound health, peace and joy. We are appreciating her for standing firm with the ideals of this forum despite the challenges we are all faced with. How we wish we could join the party train to convey all of us to join her in Kano, her base to show our solidarity, affection and love. However, we will send a delegate to represent our forum in Kano to join her on our behalf.

RSA Felicitates with Nigerians on Xmas Celebration.

Hajia Ramatu Shehu Atta has called on Nigerians to rekindle their hope and deepen love for one another as we celebrate Christmas today Worldwide. She made this call in a symbolic way to honour this year yuletide,urging everybody to show love and be our brothers keeper while praying for the administration of president Tinubu and His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to have the focus and wisdom to churn out right policies and have deserving teams to ensure their effective implemention without fear or favour.

She urged citizens to imbibe more resilience and cooperation with the effort of the government at all levels to weather the storm as such actions would ensure our ultimate survival and better economic growth. She insists that there can no gain without pain as we had mismatched our actions with viable opportunities in the past years. We now require courageous surgical steps to turnaround the fortunes of our nation with attendant prices.

We must redirect the attention of our younger generation to channel their energies toward skills acquisition by deploying some entrepreneurship skills to explore economic possibilities in wealth creation and employment creation to sustain our teeming population rather than relying on government to provide jobs that are not easy to come by.

Looking around our environment, we could see some economic opportunities in resources that abound everywhere which could be exploited to create value addition through concrete productive activities to provide genuine economic growth and sustenance, she insisted. In every challenge lies some opportunities for solution, she added.

We must use this celebration to show love, affection and give helping hands to the vulnerable people in our communities to assuage their pains and give hope to them for peace,communal love and stabile polity, she advised.

She used this occasion to commend the efforts of our security agencies including the paramilitary who are at the battle front to secure our people and national assets against both internal and external insurrection and pray for their victory over the terrorists and other non-state actors.

She equally commended individuals who have made sacrifices to deploy their personal resources to fill some missing gaps in their various communities to complement governments' effort and urged others to encourage them by joining them to do more for a better society.

As the year 2024 winds to a close, may ALLAH see us through this yuletide and the remaining days of the year and usher us into the New Year with good health, joy and with the abundance of HIS immeasurable blessings, Aameen, she concluded. She wishes all a merry Xmas and a happy new year in advance.

Barr. Shehu Atta, an APC stalwart, a former Senatorial Candidate of APC and a strong supporter of Governor ODODO, has congratulated him on this significant win.

Today's Supreme Court decision is a testament to the will of the people and the integrity of our electoral process, she said. "I am thrilled to see Governor ODODO's mandate affirmed, and I do not doubt that he will continue to serve our great state with distinction.

The Supreme Court's decision brings an end to months of legal challenges and uncertainty, paving the way for Governor ODODO to focus on his administration's agenda. Barrister Ramatu Shehu Atta, a prominent Ebira woman and staunch supporter of the Tinubu-Shettima presidential ticket and Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo's gubernatorial bid in Kogi State, has today paid a surprise visit to the Kogi state Accountant General, Hajia Habibat Onumoko's APC Women Group, at their weekly meeting and gathering at the GRA Okene.

The AG welcomed RSA warmly and introduced her to the support group, who in turn gave RSA a rousing welcome.

The visit served dual purposes: to show solidarity/cordiality and to express her appreciation of a fellow woman.

Barrister RSA is appreciative of the rise of a fellow woman to such an enviable position, for to be appointed as the Accountant General is not a small feat, it is well-deserved, and it is a position every woman desiring progress, development and positive involvement of women in governance should aspire to be.

She viewed her appointment as a significant recognition of women's role in Kogi's central political landscape.
She pledged her support to Onumoko in the discharge of her duties.

RSA CONGRATULATES AUO ON HIS VICTORY AT THE COURT OF APPEAL.

The court of Appeal sitting in Abuja today has dismissed the four grounds of appeal filed by SDP and its candidate, Alh Muritala Yakubu Ajaka. In a landmark judgment, the Appeal Court has affirmed the earlier decision of the Election Tribunal, declaring His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo the validly elected as the governor in the November 11, 2024 Governorship election held in Kogi State.

This judgment has strengthened the mandate of HE , A.U. Ododo. While the judgment came with gratitude to ALLAH, I on behalf of my supporters commend the winner and his legal team for their legal fireworks and believe that there is no victor, no vanquish in this brotherly legal dispute. I believe the judgment has deepened our legal jurisprudence and growth of constitutional democracy.

I therefore expect that Alh. Muritala Yakubu Ajaka will demonstrate the spirit of good sportsmanship by accepting the decision as the confirmation of the wish of the people and join the winner in the smooth administration of the affairs of Kogi State for the common good of all of us and further strengthening of our democracratic institutions. Democracy is not about competition but collaboration.

May ALLAH give him (Alh. Ajaka) the will and heart to choose the path of honour, peace, cooperation, and collaboration for progress of us all, and to give his H.E AUO the peace to move ahead with full concentration on the massive challenges of development in many critical sectors yearning for action.

I commend His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his resilience, and humility and advise that he extends his hands of fellowship and the olive branch to Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka by inviting him to join hands with him in the smooth administration of the state.

His ascendance to power brought noticeable changes in many sectors of Kogi State.

RSA Congratulates Nigerians on Democracy Day.

The founder of RSA Political Forum/RSA Care Foundation has echoed her felicitation in the celebration of Democracy Day today.
Nigeria has undergone military interregnum for decades with many distortions on our psyche, mindset, and political culture. But with our resilience, focus, and sense of determination, the birth of civil rule has come into being uninterrupted, Alhamdullillah.....

We must not loose focus of the price paid for this valued form of governance in spite of its teething output so far. Many have paid the supreme price and suffered one form of deprivation of freedom or the other in the course of fighting to restore democracy.

We must keep these experiences at the back of our mind and consciously make an effort to bring strong institutions to form the bedrock of this system if Nigeria must succeed. We must change our political culture and resolve to allow the conduct of elections and declaration of winners to rest with INEC rather than the courts. We also need to deploy the civil society groups to be alive to their responsibilities, being the watchdog of all the players, including the actions of the political actors and the judiciary to safeguard our common interests.

Winners of elections must foster a sense of unity of purpose by extending the olive branch to the oppositions so as to build cohesion and team spirit to strengthen democracy. Democracy is akin to a new baby that needs proper nurturing into adolescence. It is a collective responsibility of all citizens to protect the sanctity of the nation.

Nation building requires sacrifices and strong character, sense of justice, and fair play on the part of the leadership to woo the support of all players and unity that will bind the citizens. The leadership must be willing to learn from the failures and shortcomings of their predecessors so that we don't keep repeating the same mistakes.

Election losers at any level of government must be carried along in a way, so as to defray the costs of their investments and to avoid apathy. We must all bond together with those in power to move the nation, states, and local government ahead after each election.

There must be a dichotomy between politicking and governance so that unnecessary distractions are not caused on the path of progress. Once the election has been fairly and justly won, the winner should be allowed to concentrate on the work at hand rather than on election litigations. This will help to avoid loss of focus and waste of resources; time, energy, and finances.

The incumbent president has been part of democratic forces that fought to bring our current civil rule. He must not lose sight of our political history and his personal sacrifices and those of others who are alive or dead. This will build the necessary democratic values in the country and his administration in ensuring that there is justice and seen to be justice in all that will be associated with his administration.The principle of fairness in the choice and allocation of portfolios and resources should be fairly distributed to ensure the widespread of top ranking ministries, departments and agencies across all states and ethnic groups to avoid the citizens from pointing accusing fingers in the direction of the presidency. Nigeria can not afford to fail this time around. We must succeed in building a better nation for the next generation of Nigerians.

That is the best legacy we can bequeath to the future generations and for our heroes to celebrate in their graves.

*RSA CONGRATULATES H.E AU ODODO.*

RSA Forum congratulates H.E AU Ododo on clocking 100 days in office. How time flies! The administration has, within 100 days in office, placed it's priority on improved welfare of the civil servants and pensioners; this effort has rekindled hope in the sincerity of the administration to place service to the people on the front burner.

On insecurity, there is a similar determination to alter the security architecture of the state by deepening the efficiency of the security agencies through the provision of operational vehicles to cushion the menace of the bandits. This was followed by his recent visit to Omala LGA to register his condolences to the affected victims of attack and have a first-hand assessment of the impact. We commend the action.

In a similar vein, he had paid official visit to Ogori Magongo LGA to witness their traditional festival, Ovia Osese, during which he made a promise to rehabilitate the internal roads with a view to giving the deplorable infrastructure a face lift to attract meaningful development.

It is in line with your desire for feasible infrastructural development and ease of trade that the Adogo airstrip is being planned to become an international cargo airport so that development within and around the state will improve drastically to the benefit of the adjourning states.

It is our hope that the administration will give priority to human capital development as well having been in doldrum for long so that the skills and knowledge gained will add to the impetus of improved civil servants to deliver superior service.

We pray that H.E. Ododo will endeavour to pull ideas that could turn around the state to attract FDI and increase productive areas of the state's economy.

We can now conveniently assert that there's light at the end of the tunnel given the effort of the new administration so far. We pray that H.E. Ododo succeeds in complementing the achievements of the past administration.
