PDP WOMEN: LET'S KEEP OUR DIFFERENCES ASIDE AND MOVE FORWARD TO DELIVER OUR GREAT PARTY, 5 OVER 5.

Great PDP Women in Nigeria and the Diaspora, I Salute all of you. I Sincerely Appreciate you all for the Work you are doing so far, to lead our Great Party to Victory at the Polls. All the same, we have to do more.

However, I wish to State that in Recent Times, I came across some In House Exchanges amongst our Women, especially in the Social Media, as they affect some Campaign Issues and Procedures. I learnt that some Women even threatened to carry out Protests against what they claimed to be offensive to them. Yes, Everyone has right to her own opinion, but may I at this point request that We PDP Women try as much as we can, to keep our differences aside and face what is on Ground at the moment.

What is on Ground is the Forthcoming General Elections coming up in Nigeria on the 25th of February, 2023 and 11th of March, 2023. I Passionately Plead with all PDP Women to Focus Seriously on how to Sensitize and Mobilize Nigerians and Garner Massive Votes for our Presidential Candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON, Waziri Adamawa, his Vice Presidential Candidate Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP National Assembly Candidates, PDP Gubernatorial Candidates and the Candidates of the State Houses of Assembly.

This Election has a lot to do with the Polling Units. I therefore urge all PDP Women to Monitor and Guard their Polling Units jealously. Heads of Polling Units should take effective charge of their Units inorder to ensure that No Vote meant for PDP is lost.

Please I call on Everyone to Shield their Swords and Work Very Very Hard to make our Great Party Gain Tremendous Victory at the Polls and Usher all of us into A*o Villa, Government Houses etc, on May 29th, 2023.

May God Almighty grant our Heart Desires and bless us all, as we Work Together in Unity for the Success and Progress of our Dear Party, Amen.

Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe.
PDP National Woman Leader.

THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY NATIONAL WOMAN LEADER COMMISERATES WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF CROSS RIVER STATE.

The unfortunate news about the tragic incident that led to the loss of lives and sustained injuries of different degrees during the Carnival Calabar celebration reached me with excruciating pain and sadness in my heart.

It's indeed tragic that such incident happened in a time that people were finding a way to make themselves happy amidst the unprecedented hardship Nigerians are going through right now. With all sense of responsibility, it is a low moment for me as I mourn the dead and sympathize with the injured.

In the light of this trying times and disaster in our dear Cross River State (Calabar), I professor Stella Effah-Attoe, National Woman Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wishes to extend my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to sympathize with the injured.

May I also commiserate with the Government and people of Cross River State over the sad development.

I pray that the good Lord grants all of us the fortitude to bear this calamity that befell us. May it never happen again in Jesus name.

ONE YEAR SCORE CARD AND THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM PROFESSOR STELLA EFFAH-ATTOE, NATIONAL WOMAN LEADER OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP).

Glory be to God Almighty for His Mercies on Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and especially on all the Women of the our great Party.

From the Depth of my Heart, I say thank you to all PDP Women across the Thirty Six States, Abuja and those in the Diaspora, for their Support in Promoting the Programmes and Activities emanating from the Office of the PDP National Woman Leader. It is a thing of joy to note that PDP Women have all worked with me in Harmony and Commitment towards the Growth and Development of our great Party, the PDP. I can not thank the Women enough!

May I use this Medium to Highlight some of our Achievements (Even Within Very Limited Resources), since I became the National Woman Leader of our Party, of which the Women's Support are invaluable:

- Organising the PDP Women Leaders Summit comprising the PDP National Woman Leader, the PDP Deputy National Woman Leader, the 6 PDP Zonal Women Leaders, the 36 State Women Leaders plus the FCT Woman Leader and Senior Female Party Stakeholders. The National Chairman of our Party and Members of the National Working Committee (NWC) were in attendance. The Summit was basically aimed at bringing the PDP Women Leaders together and Guiding them on how to grow and develop the Party in their various areas.

- Organising the PDP Female Aspirants Summit which is unprecedented in the History of the Party. 250 Female Aspirants were in Attendance. Papers were presented and discussions led by Resource Persons such as Amb. Nkoyo Toyo, Iyom Josephine Anenih, Hajiya Inna Ciroma Amb. Dr Kema Chikwe, Senator Stella Omu, Senator Zainab Kure, Princess Dr Omobolanle Ogundiran etc. The main objective of this Summit was to present to the Female Aspirants, Basic Guidelines on how to Win in Party Primaries and emerge as Party Candidates. This endeavour yielded some form of Positive Results, even though not as big as we had expected. At the end of the exercise, the following emerged:
• 6 Female Deputy Governorship Candidates.
• 6 Female Senatorial Candidates.
• 18 Female House of Representatives Candidates.
• 39 Female State House of Assembly Candidates.

- Supporting Several PDP Women Summits and Conferences across the States and Zones under the leadership of State and Zonal Women Leaders and other critical stakeholders.

- Was Part of the Success Team that organised the May 2022 PDP Presidential National Convention. I served as the Chairperson of the Welfare and Entertainment Sub Committee. To the Glory of God, many people Testified to the Abundance and Overflow of Food, Drinks, Water etc, much more than had been seen in the recent Past. Entertainment was very Elaborate. All these within Limited Resources.

- Made so many Media Appearances on National TVs, the Print Media and the Social Media to discuss PDP affairs, Women's Political issues and Gender related discourse.

- Made Several Advocacy Moves calling for Women Inclusiveness in both Intra-Party Politics and in Governance generally.

- In Collaboration with the National Youth Leader, I organised a very Successful Sensitization and Enlightenment Campaign in the FCT and other Council Areas of Abuja, on the importance of Voters Registration, the Collection of PVCs and the Proper use of PVCs. The General FCT and Abuja Public gained a lot from this Exercise.

- Done Several Press Releases on Violence and Discrimination against Women in Politics. A Case in Point was the Elaborate World Press Conference I organised in Protest against the refusal of Nigeria's National Assembly to Pass the Gender Equality Bills.

- Published Communiques on Women's Position against Discrimination of Women in Politics with great condemnation of the gruesome murder of Mrs Salome Abu in Kogi State.

- Partnering with the International Republican Institute (IRI) on several occasions to organise Workshops in Lagos and Abuja, towards Empowering PDP Women on Political and Electoral matters.

- At the various Summits, Conferences and Fora we had, I had charged all the PDP Women to build Synergy and Commonality towards Winning all the 2023 General Elections for our Party, from the Top to the Least. I also encouraged the Women to be Patriotic to the Course of our Party's Goals, Objectives and Manifesto. In one of my Statements to the Women, I said, "Women form the largest Cluster of Voters in Nigeria and we can ensure Victory for our Party." I had severally charged Women to Campaign from Door to Door, Ward to Ward, Village to Village, LGA to LGA, State to State, Zone to Zone, to ensure that PDP returns to Power in Nigeria in 2023. I have always clearly asserted that PDP must come out boldly to Rescue, Recover and Rebuild Nigeria. Nigerians want to be delivered from the Shackles of the APC Government and Our Dear Party, the PDP, sure has the Deliverance Mandate.

- Since September 2022, following the inauguration of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), I joined the PDP Campaign Train, Transversing the Length and Breath of Nigeria, Campaigning for the Election of our Party's Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar GCON, the Waziri Adamawa.

- Since November, 2022, following the inauguration of the PDP National Presidential Women Campaign Council (NPWCC), I have embarked on Strategising, through Organising several meetings, for effective Mobilization of Nigerian Women in Particular and Nigerians in General, for Massive Votes for the PDP Presidential Candidate and other PDP Candidates, in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections. By the Special Grace of God, as we enter the New Year in January 2023, I in Collaboration with Our Grand Patrons and all the Officials and Members of the PDP National Presidential Women Campaign Council, we would Hit the Ground Running, as we embark on our Zonal Movements.

I want to Sincerely thank all PDP Women for yielding to my Admonitions by Hitting the Ground Running, carrying the Deliverance Mantra across the Country.

I wish to implore all PDP Women to use this Yuletide Break to Consolidate on all they have been doing, inorder for our Party to gain Victory in 2023.

Finally, as we Celebrate Christmas, I urge all PDP Women, Christians and Muslims alike to engage in Political Socialisation for the Success of the PDP come 2023. I thank all of you immensely as I look forward to working with you once again in 2023. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.

Christmas; you might just be the Santa Claus for someone who really needs help - Prof Stella Effah-Attoe

Christmas is a festival that is celebrated on the 25th day of December every year to commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All over the world, Christmas brings forth joy and warmth. People rejoice with great enthusiasm and celebrate Christmas with their families and loved ones.

At such times of joy, we should remember those who are less privileged. Amidst all the shopping for gifts, we should also remember to make voluntary sacrifices to make others happy.

Today being Christmas, you might just be the Santa Claus for someone who really needs help. A gift as small as a warm pack of food for the homeless kids on the streets might cheer them up more than one can imagine.

Children can make the elderly happy just by talking to them and cheering them up. So why not inculcate the culture of giving in your children to make this world a better place for all.

I am sure everyone has at least one needy person living across the road or maybe around the corner of the street. As a part of this community, we should always remember to reach out to the less privileged within the community.

For as Christ said in Matthew 25:40 NLT, “ I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me." In Acts 20:35 NKJV, Jesus also said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Let’s reach out to others with whatever we can afford, for the widow’s mite is what God seeks.

Kindness and love are what make the celebrations more fulfilling than ever.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead.
