His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar officially resigns from the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria due to the party's lack of direction. He thanks and wishes the PDP and its remnant all the best.

Atiku Abubakar walks the talk and leads by example. This resignation will herald a torrent of resignations from other coalition leaders to strengthen the ADC as we prepare for the battle ahead.

The South West Zonal coordinator of the Atiku Support Organization - A*O, Dr Akinsanya AbdulAzeez, and the former A*O state coordinator and 2023 Lagos state Labor Party guber candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour held a strategic meeting with the ADC national secretary, Engr Rauf Aragbesola.

A*O Calls on Nigerians to Support ADC and Atiku to Rescue Nigeria

The Atiku Support Organisation (A*O) extends its congratulations to the new leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and welcomes the emergence of the Atiku Abubakar-led coalition, which aims to challenge the failed APC government in 2027.

The ADC coalition represents a beacon of hope for millions of Nigerians seeking genuine change—a call to restore Nigeria’s lost glory.

The Tinubu administration is a plague that has afflicted our nation into despair, resulting in soaring inflation, rampant insecurity, and deteriorating infrastructure. Nigeria’s GDP per capita (average income), which stands at a dismal $807 in 2025 against $3,700 in 2015, ranks us alongside impoverished nations such as Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan, and Haiti. This is a disgrace for our resource-rich country. Nigerians deserve capable leadership, not renewed hardship.

We urge all patriotic citizens to unite behind this coalition, to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and to support Atiku Abubakar—a proven leader with vision and experience—so we can reset Nigeria’s future. Together, we can restore dignity, security, and prosperity.

We wish the interim ADC leaders success as we embark on this historic journey to rescue Nigeria and deliver economic revival, security, and inclusive growth.

Democracy is Losing Its Taste Under the Tinubu-Led APC Government, says Atiku Support Organisation - A*O.

As Nigeria commemorates June 12, the Tinubu-led APC government is tarnishing Democracy Day’s legacy. Democratic values—freedom of speech, press, and assembly—are under siege. Journalists face harassment, activists are silenced, and peaceful protests are brutally suppressed, signaling a dangerous drift toward authoritarianism. Judicial independence and the rule of law are eroded, betraying the sacrifices made for Nigeria’s democracy.

The economy is in disarray due to gross mismanagement. The abrupt fuel subsidy removal has driven inflation, making essentials unaffordable. Naira devaluation and unemployment devastate small businesses, compounded by unreliable power and excessive taxation. Nigeria’s debt, now projected to balloon to N198 trillion, shackles future generations with no clear repayment strategy.

The government’s extravagant spending amid widespread poverty is indefensible. Corruption thrives as public funds are siphoned off, deepening public distrust and fueling unrest.

We demand the urgent restoration of democratic freedoms and economic stability. The administration must uphold citizens’ rights, ensure judicial autonomy, and tackle the escalating debt crisis with transparent, sustainable policies.

On this Democracy Day, we reject the APC’s assault on our values. Nigerians deserve a government that honors June 12 with true democracy and prosperity. Accountability and change are non-negotiable. We all must be ready to chase the failed Tinubu-led APC government out of office in 2027.
