Today, I joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON; First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON; APC governors, party leaders, stakeholders and enthusiastic supporters at the official flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign in Kaduna State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event was a powerful demonstration of our party’s unity, collective determination, and unwavering commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous, and inclusive Nigeria.

Under the purposeful leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Renewed Hope Agenda continues to provide a framework for economic reforms, infrastructural development, institutional strengthening, and expanded opportunities for Nigerians.

While we recognise the challenges facing our nation, we remain confident that consistency, courage, and collective responsibility are essential to achieving lasting progress.

As we begin this important campaign journey, we must continue to communicate our vision, acknowledge the concerns of Nigerians and demonstrate through our actions that the Renewed Hope Agenda is about improving lives, creating opportunities and securing a brighter future for generations to come.

I particularly commend the people of Kaduna State and the entire North-West for their warm reception and enthusiastic participation. The North remains a critical partner in Nigeria’s democratic journey, and its continued engagement is vital to our national unity, stability, and development.

As we look towards 2027, I call on our party faithful women, youths, and supporters across the country to remain united, peaceful, and committed to our shared vision. Let us mobilise responsibly, strengthen our grassroots structures, and sustain our engagement with the Nigerian people.

Yesterday, October 17, 2026, I was pleased to join His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima GCON and members of Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) at the inauguration of its campaign structure and the official unveiling of its head office at Area 11, Garki, Abuja.

This milestone represents an important step towards strengthening political organisation, deepening grassroots engagement, and building a coordinated platform for constructive participation in Nigeria’s democratic process.

As we look towards the 2027 general elections, I reaffirm my support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose administration is pursuing bold reforms to strengthen our economy, improve infrastructure, expand opportunities, and promote sustainable national development.

The Arewa community remains a vital force in Nigeria’s political, economic, and social development. Our collective strength lies in our unity, diversity, and shared commitment to building a peaceful, prosperous, and united nation.

I therefore encourage the A4A leadership to prioritise inclusive mobilisation, particularly among women and young people, while promoting issue-based advocacy, peaceful political engagement, and respect for the rule of law.

As we prepare for 2027, our political activities must be guided by discipline, integrity, and a commitment to national unity. Our differences must never diminish the bonds that unite us as Nigerians.

I was delighted to be part of the Seyi Tinubu Colloquium, held at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, to commemorate the 41st birthday of Barr. Seyi Tinubu, under the inspiring theme, “Shaping the Future Together.”

The colloquium provided a valuable platform to reflect on the role of leadership, innovation, collaboration, and youth participation in building a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Nigeria.

As we advance the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, it is imperative that we continue to create opportunities for young Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to national development. Our youths are not merely leaders of tomorrow; they are indispensable partners in shaping the Nigeria we desire today.

I commend Barr. Seyi Tinubu for his commitment to youth engagement, empowerment, and initiatives that encourage young people to take active roles in nation-building. Today, I joined women leaders, stakeholders, and representatives from across the country at the Women Stakeholders’ Mobilisation and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Summit 2026, organised by the Women Mobilisation Directorate of the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council.

The summit, convened by the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, provided an opportunity for women stakeholders to deliberate on issues around women’s participation, empowerment, inclusion, and their contribution to national development.

As women continue to play important roles in our families, communities, institutions, and economy, platforms such as this provide an avenue for meaningful engagement, experience-sharing, and discussion of practical pathways for greater participation in development.

I commend the organisers and participants for creating a platform that brings together women from diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas and perspectives on issues affecting women and society.

Today, I joined other distinguished Nigerians at the 66th Independence Anniversary Celebrations Public Lecture, held at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The theme, “From Reform to Stability: Consolidating Nigeria’s Renewed Hope for Shared Prosperity,” speaks directly to the defining task of our nation at this stage of our development.

Nigeria’s journey of nation-building requires courage to reform, discipline to sustain those reforms, and collective responsibility to translate economic progress into improved opportunities and a better quality of life for our people.

As we celebrate 66 years of independence, we must remain committed to strengthening our institutions, deepening good governance, promoting inclusive growth and building a more resilient and prosperous Nigeria.

As a government, we remain focused on delivering the dividends of the Renewed Hope Agenda and ensuring that the gains of ongoing reforms are translated into tangible development across our communities.

I congratulate Nigerians at home and abroad on this significant anniversary.

I attended today’s meeting of the FCT Administration Executive Council, presided over by the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON.

The meeting provided another opportunity for members of the Council to review ongoing programmes and projects, deliberate on critical issues affecting the Federal Capital Territory, and strengthen our collective resolve to deliver on the mandate of the FCT Administration.

Under the leadership of the Honourable Minister, the FCT Administration remains focused on accelerating infrastructure development, improving public services, and creating an environment where residents, businesses, and investors can thrive.

As the Minister of State, I remain committed to supporting this shared vision and working collaboratively with all stakeholders to build an inclusive, functional, secure, and prosperous Federal Capital Territory.

The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to engage with distinguished personalities, including Africa’s foremost industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Amina J. Mohammed.

GABI reinforces the importance of strong partnerships, innovative leadership, and inclusive development in advancing Africa’s economic transformation and positioning the continent for greater opportunities in the global community.

I was honoured to join the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, at the National Flag-Off of Incentives to Increase Maternal and Newborn Care Services Utilisation, held today at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This important initiative reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and its commitment to ensuring that every mother and newborn has access to quality, timely and affordable healthcare.

As a mother and a medical professional, I understand the importance of protecting the lives of women and children.

No mother should lose her life while giving birth, and no newborn should be denied the opportunity to survive and thrive because of barriers to essential healthcare services.

I commend Her Excellency, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her continued advocacy and interventions in strengthening maternal and child health across the country.

I also reaffirm the commitment of the FCT Administration to supporting initiatives that improve healthcare access and outcomes for women and children in the Federal Capital Territory.
