نظّمت جمعية السيدات اللبنانيات في نيجيريا (LWAN)، بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك، زيارة إلى ISBON International Academy في كارو-أبوجا، حيث تم توزيع مجموعة من الهدايا على التلامذة، في أجواء سادتها البهجة وروح العطاء والمشاركة.

وشكّلت الزيارة فرصةً مميّزة لمشاركة الأطفال أجواء العيد وإدخال السرور إلى نفوسهم، حيث ارتسمت الابتسامة على وجوههم في لحظاتٍ مليئة بالمحبة والدفء.

وتندرج هذه المبادرة ضمن النشاطات الإنسانية والاجتماعية التي تحرص الجمعية على تنظيمها، تأكيدًا على قيم التضامن والتكافل وتعزيز المسؤولية المجتمعية تجاه إخواننا في نيجيريا.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, the Lebanese Women Association in Nigeria (LWAN) organized a visit to ISBON International Academy in Karu-Abuja, during which a number of gifts were distributed to the students in an atmosphere marked by joy, generosity, and a spirit of sharing.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share the festive spirit of Eid with the children and bring happiness to their hearts, as smiles brightened their faces throughout moments filled with warmth and kindness.
This initiative forms part of the Association’s ongoing humanitarian and social activities, reflecting its commitment to promoting the values of solidarity, mutual support, and social responsibility towards our brothers in Nigeria.

شارك سفير لبنان، د. "وسام كلاكش"، برفقة عقيلته السيدة "دينا كلاكش"، في العشاء السنوي لرعية مار شربل – أبوجا، الذي أُقيم تحت شعار «ورود الربيع – Spring Blossom».
وشكّل هذا اللقاء السنوي مناسبةً مميّزةً جمعت أبناء الجالية اللبنانية والرعية في أجواء من الألفة والتلاقي، بما يعكس روح التضامن والانتماء المجتمعي، ويبرز أهمية التعاون والعمل المشترك في دعم النشاطات الدينية والاجتماعية.

The Ambassador of Lebanon, Dr. “Wissam Kalakeche”, accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. “Dina Kalakeche”, attended the Annual Gala Dinner of Saint Charbel Parish – Abuja, held under the theme “Spring Blossom.”
This annual gathering brought together members of the Lebanese community, parishioners, in a spirit of fellowship and unity, reflecting strong bonds of solidarity and community belonging, while underscoring the importance of cooperation and collective engagement in supporting religious and social initiatives.

يسرّ جمعية السيدات اللبنانيات في نيجيريا (LWAN) ، وبالتعاون مع مؤسسة "Raliat Popoola Foundation "، الإعلان عن نجاح أول نشاط إنساني للجمعية، والذي تم خلاله توزيع أكثر من 130 حصة غذائية على النساء والأرامل من الفئات الأكثر احتياجًا في أبوجا.
ويأتي هذا النشاط تأكيدًا على التزام الجمعية المستمر بدعم الفئات الضعيفة وتعزيز قيم التضامن والتكافل الاجتماعي. كما يعكس أهمية التعاون البنّاء بين المؤسسات في إحداث أثر إيجابي وملموس داخل المجتمع.
وتتوجه الجمعية بجزيل الشكر والتقدير إلى جميع الجهات والأفراد الذين ساهموا في إنجاح هذه المبادرة، مؤكدةً تطلعها إلى مواصلة جهودها الإنسانية والاجتماعية مستقبلًا.

The Lebanese Women Association in Nigeria (LWAN), in collaboration with the Raliat Popoola Foundation, is pleased to announce the success of its first humanitarian outreach initiative, during which more than 130 food packages were distributed to women and widows from vulnerable communities in Abuja.
This initiative reflects the Association’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and promoting the values of solidarity and social responsibility. It also highlights the importance of constructive collaboration between organizations in creating a meaningful and positive impact within the community.
The Association extends its sincere appreciation to all individuals and partners who contributed to the success of this initiative and looks forward to continuing its humanitarian and social efforts in the future.

استكمالاً للجولة الميدانية التي شملت عدداً من الشركات اللبنانية (والنيجيرية التي يعمل فيها لبنانيون) الناجحة في أبوجا.

As part of the ongoing field tour that included a number of successful Lebanese companies (and Nigerian companies in which Lebanese are employed) in Abuja.

عُقد اجتماع ل"جمعية السيدات اللبنانيات في نيجيريا"، وهي جمعية خيرية قيد التأسيس، برئاسة السّيدة "دينا كلاكش" عقيلة سفير لبنان لدى نيجيريا، وبحضور اللجنة التنفيذية وعدد من السيدات اللبنانيات الفاعلات في المجتمع النيجيري.
وتناول اللقاء التحضير للأنشطة والاستحقاقات المقبلة، بما يعزّز دور هذه الجمعية الخيرية وتفعيل حضورها في العمل الإنساني. كما تمّ التأكيد على أهمية الاستمرار في العمل المشترك، لما له من أثر إيجابي في دعم المبادرات وتعزيز روح التضامن.

A meeting of the "Lebanese Women Association in Nigeria (LWAN), "a charitable association currently under establishment, was held, presided over by Mrs. "Dina Kalakeche "spouse of the Ambassador of Lebanon to Nigeria, in the presence of the Executive Committee and a number of active Lebanese women within the Nigerian community.
The meeting focused on preparations for upcoming activities and engagements, in a manner that strengthens the Association’s role as a charitable initiative and enhances its presence in humanitarian work. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of continuing joint efforts, given their positive impact in supporting initiatives and fostering a spirit of solidarity.
