Chapter five

" Hello, mum" Madison's, soft voice called as she placed the phone on her ear.
" Hello, Madison. How are you doing" A famine voice asked from the other end of the phone.
" I am not very fine, mum" She answered with a twisted expression.
" Why? Is everything alright?" The voice asked, with worry and confusion laced in her voice.
" Mom, that sl*t is trying to escape signing those papers!" She burst out in anger.
" What did she do?"
" Can you believe it, mom? She fainted when she was about to sign the divorce papers"
A light chuckle came from the other side of the phone. " Did you expect she would just accept to part from him like that? Well if you did, i didn't"
" No! But it's annoying. One step to kick her out of my way and she wants to spoil everything i have worked for. Mom, you know how hard it was to convince Ethan to divorce her. Now that he finally made up his mind to do so, she is trying to play tricks to change his mind"
" Calm down my dear. Now is not the time to get angry. You have to play your cards well. Make sure he doesn't change his mind"
" What should I do, Mom?"
" Good that you asked. Make sure to push him hard so he would push her. I know, you know how to do that. Don't give him the slightest opportunity to change his mind"
She arced the corner of her lips up in a smirk. " of course i do mum. Trust me, She will sign those divorce papers and get out of my man's life, either by hook or by crook"
"Good! That's my girl" The voice laughed, " after she signs those papers, make sure to come home let's celebrate"
" Alright Mom, see you" She replied with a smile and hung up the phone.
Ethan Dan belonged to her, Madison Puff, and no woman would take him away from her. Everything he has belongs to her. She would not share him with another woman. Not even her step-sister.

In the hospital.
Amelia slowly opened her eyes up to the ceiling. She turned her head sideways to see what was making beeping sounds.
She creased her forehead and tried to get up. A sharp pain coursed through her lower abdomen, causing her to lay back down. She yelped and attempted to get up again, enduring the pain as she bit her bottom lips.
"Easy, easy" she heard someone said and she turned to see the person.
She saw a female nurse rushing towards her with a panicked expression. The nurse was wearing a normal blue nurse uniform.
" You shouldn't get up now. You need rest" the nurse said, as she supported her to lie down again.
" Why am I here?" She asked. All she could remember was,
She took the pen from the lawyer and was about to sign the papers. The pen was already on the paper but......
That was all she could remember. What happened to her? Did she sign the papers?
" Actually, you were brought here after you fainted due to stress" The nurse explained briefly.
" Stress?" She repeated. How could she faint because of stress? She had passed through stress almost all her life. Since her mother died, to when she was in school, and now even in her marriage.
" Yes stress. You know, pregnant women are not supposed to pass through stress because they are no longer alone, but now has another little human growing inside them. Especially, that you seem to be carrying an high risk pregnancy" The nurse explained, patiently.
"Oh! i fainted because of the pregnancy" She murmured. Wait.....
" Nurse, did you just say pregnancy?" She asked, not knowing what to feel.
The nurse paused for a while, " yes i did" she replied.
And as if she just remembered something, she smacked her forehead. " I just remembered you didn't know. Congratulations, Madam, you are two months pregnant" The nurse announced enthusiastically.
What! She had been married for two good years and she had been unable to get pregnant but now she suddenly became pregnant when he was about to divorce her or say when he already divorced her. Because she still didn't know if she signed the papers before she fainted.
" I could possibly still save my marriage" she murmured inaudibly.
But if she didn't sign it, she might still have a chance. He said he wanted to divorce because she had been unable to give him a child. And now she was pregnant, he could still change his mind if he knows she was pregnant.
And he could even leave her step-sister. Since she presumed he was with her step-sister because he needed a child, Maybe within.
Her eyes brimmed with tears as she reached out to touch her flat stomach. It was just two months so her pregnancy wasn't visible.
The nurse beamed, watching her movements, " i can see you are very happy. But you have to be very careful. This pregnancy is a very risky one. Try to avoid anything that gives you stress, relax more and eat healthy"
She nodded. Of course, she was going to take good care of her baby.
" Alright, i would just leave you to rest. I was just doing some routine check up" she said and prepared to leave.
" Thank you" Amelia said.
" You are welcome. Remember take rest, as stress would heighten the risk of losing the child" She reminded her, before walking out of the ward.
Amelia felt happy. She smiled and rubbed her stomach again. " Baby, i am so sorry i put you through all that. Momma would always take care of you from now on, till you come out to see the world"

Amelia was lying down, facing the ceiling when the door was abruptly push open with a little force.
She turned her head sideways, to face the door. She saw Ethan entered. Her heart skipped a beat and then leaped with joy. " Just you wait! You wanted to divorce me because i couldn't bear a child right? Now I am pregnant" She said in her heart, keeping a poker face.
He walked to stand beside her bed and looked down at her, his eyes had unclear emotions laced in them.
" At first, i thought this was one of your tricks but it seems i was wrong. Who is responsible" He asked, coldly. His expression was dark.
" Responsible for what?" She puzzled, what was he talking about?
" Don't you try to play dumb with me. You know fully well what i am talking about" He barked and grunted, shoving his hand in his hair.
She flinched and tried to sit up, as she bit her bottom lips in pain. After she stood up, she raised her head up.
" I seriously don't know what you are talking about"
" I knew all along that you weren't faithful, you bloody cheat!" He shouted with red eyes.
Now, it became clear to her about what he was talking about. Wait, why would he be asking such question? Did he seriously think she was a cheat?
She bit hard on her lips and and swallowed. " Of course, Ethan. You are responsible for the pregnancy"
" Don't you dare lie to me!" He said, more calmly. But his burning gaze, seems like it would slice her in pieces anytime soon.
" Ethan, I am not lying. You are responsible for the pregnancy. I have never cheated on you with anyone Ethan. What is going on with you!" She suddenly yelled. Right now, she was feeling very angry. She wouldn't let him call her a cheater when he is the culprit here.
" You think i would believe that?" He mocked.
Her anger heightened as her chest heaved up and down.
" I don't care if you believe me. You dare to accuse me of cheating, when you are the cheater here! You are so disgusting Ethan. How dare you!" She yelled, as tears rolled down her cheeks.
She has had enough! She could accept any other thing but not to be called a cheater.
Ethan was shocked when she yelled at him. She had always been so soft and spoke gently. However, today she yelled.
He tried to calm himself down. " Then how did you become pregnant?"
She paused for a moment and eyed him. " Am i not married? Have i not ever slept with my husband? What is your problem exactly?"
" My problem is you! I know you are cheating. Is it the reason you haven't given me a child in the two years we have been married? And now we are divorcing, you want to have a child for him!"
" Stop it!" She yelled and held her hair with both hands.

I decided to start my book regardless of what happened.

As y’all can see they wanna terminate my book but no problem.

So I’m back fully.

Part 1

Previously on Charmed

"Evidence is repeatable and the demon in Brian wasn't cold which means it wasn't the demon that killed our mother"



Noises could be heard in front of the college building as students gathered with posters protesting Thaine's reinstatement. Mel stood at the centre of it all and led the protest. Then she stopped. She turned her head and sensed danger as the environment became cold. She could see her own breath. She turned and looked at the guy she punched earlier suspiciously
"It's a beautiful day" he said
She looked and walked away from the crowd. He turned to her direction and watched as she left becoming suspicious as well.


She walked into the deserted building observing every part of it. Meanwhile, she noticed water was frozen as a tap releasing water carried a frozen look. It wasn't gushing at all. It just stood in the air. She entered the lab which had a colder feel to it. She shivered and walked forward not seeing Professor Thaine behind her. He saw her then stood from his wheelchair maintaining a frightening posture smirking evily. Mel turned and met the shock of her life. He was standing.
"Melanie Vera" he said as her breathing pace increased. "We meet at last" he added grinning evily then slowly transformed from his human state to a demonic state starting with his nose.
Macy and Maggie ran to the building to get Mel who had already been captured by Thaine.
"According to the Book Of Shadows, his demon name is Thades" she said as she and Maggie hurried to meet Mel, he's an upper-level demon whose lived for centuries feeding off the live force of strong women draining their strength" Macy explained as she and Maggie moved swiftly to save their sister if necessary.
He brought her closer telekinetic powers as he grinned evily then started draining her life force by breathing into her neck
"You can't go in there. I told you, you aren't allowed-" the guy who Mel punched earlier said as he tried to stop Macy and Maggie from entering the lab. Unfortunately, they had and came face to face with an ice demon who stood right in front of them with their sister. She slowly tilted her head as the young guy came forward and spoke
"Well, hello" the demon said when he saw the other 2 sisters
"Sir, are you wearing a costume?" The guy asked
"No, Cameron. I'm not wearing a costume" he said as he shot an icicle through Cam's chest sending him to the wall.
The sisters screamed in fear as Thades spoke up
"Oh, come on, girls. He's awful" he said
He let go of Mel as he tired to strike Macy with another icicle but she prevented it by using her telekinetic powers to throw it away
He threw another and Mel ran in front of it freezing it and him in the process
"Mel" Maggie gasped silently as she went close to her
"I know, right?" Mel said too as she struggled to hold him
"I can't hold him, he's too strong, how do we get rid of him?" Mel asked
"I-I have a spell here" Macy said Ashe rushed to bring out a paper from her pocket
"We're supposed to call Harry. HARRY!" Maggie screamed as Harry appeared buttoning his suit jacket making Macy and Mags turn in fear
"Oh dear" he said as he saw what stood in front of him
"Go, heal him." Maggie told him as she was referring to Cameron
"Hurry!" She added
He walked to where Cameron was and brought his palm close to his chest. He healed without looking as an unconscious Cameron fell with a loud thud. Harry sighed and went back to the girls.
Macy chanted the spell but instead of it to work, the barrier was breaking as Mel couldn't hold him much longer
"The spell won't work unless you use the power of three" Harry told Macy
"Either accept your destiny or go back to your normal lives" he said to them
"But you said all magical intervention reverses, if we refuse" Macy said with a shaky voice
"You won't remember any of this including meeting each other" he said
They all panicked slightly
"You know I'm in" Mel told them
"I-I want to know you guys and figure out this whole witchcraft thing on a Molecular level and win a freaking a Nobel prize so yeah, me too" Macy said confidently as she put the paper back in her pocket leaving Maggie to make her decision.
Maggie hesitated for a while before Mel screamed
"MAGGIE!"
"Ok, fine, I'm in" she said
"Great, then join hands" Harry told them
Mel dropped her hands and linked it with her sisters when the icicle flew and they all dodged as it hit the wall and they screamed in fright.
Thades went from his solid form into a gaseous form filling the entire lab with his cold gas. The force pushed them to different corners of the lab as they fell
They started coughing as they couldn't breathe well because of Thades's new form
"I can't breathe" Maggie said
"Macy, use your power. Draw your sisters to you" Harry told Macy as she tried to balance her breath. She inhaled then stretch out her right hand pulling Maggie to her and her left pulling Mel to her
They stood together as Macy started the chant and the other two joined her as their intertwined hands began glowing
They kept chanting until Thades came back to his real form, only this time, life had been drawn out of him and he fell to the ground
The girls walked to him as Harry stood back
"That's for killing our mother" Maggie said
"You think I killed her?" He asked
"You poor stupid girls. Now, it's begun" he added them breathed his last before laying still
"Is he-" Macy asked
"Dead?" Harry completed "yes" he answered
"Why didn't he disappear then?" Maggie asked
"I dunno, this has to be the kind of demon where you do one last thing to get it to disappear" he said to them
"Crack the neck, remove the eyeballs maybe the intestine" he said to them as the dead demon bursted into ashes and the girls gasped
Harry burst into a round of laughter as she placed his hands on his knees so he could balance himself
"Ha, I've been kidding. Sometimes, it takes just a minute" he said after laughing
"What was that?" A voice asked as they turned to see Cameron standing from the floor
They walked to him as Harry spoke
"Don't worry, I'll wipe his memory"
"No, don't" Mel said
"We have to. That's how it's done. Mortals mustn't know. Haven't you seen a superhero movie?" Harry explained
"Let him tell people. No one will believe another hysterical man" she said scornfully to his face
"True. It's a "he said-she said situation"" Macy said as she quoted his statement to Mel
"3 shes, infact" Maggie added
"Don't mess with us, Cam" Maggie threatened
"Go home, change your khakis" she mocked


The three sisters walked out majestically with hands linked in Macy's arm as the protest continued.
"Are you sure I can stay here?" Macy asked as she moved her luggages in the house while Maggie held the door for her
"Yea" Maggie said excitedly as she shut the door and stood in front of Macy
"And we're your sisters so you don't have to be alone anymore even when you want to be because I'm warning you now. You will die. A lot" she said encouragingly as they laughed heartily.
"I found it" Mel interrupted as she held an ouija board like object
"Let's see if it works" she said excitedly
They dropped the board on the table as they went closer to it and looked at it. They placed their hand on a pad that came with it that had a little hole to spell letters out on the board
"Mom, are you there?" Macy asked as she and her sisters held the pad
It slowly moved to the letter I as they gasped softly
All of a sudden, it violently moved to D
Then O then N then T as they tried to get what the board was saying
"Don't. Don't what?" Mel asked
T R U S T it spelt again
"Don't trust?" Mel asked again
H A R R Y it spelt as Mel said it out loud
"Harry?!" Maggie said confused.
"Ladies" a voice said and they screamed turning back
"I'm right here" Harry said as he stepped out of the dark folding his arms under his chest with a smirk making them look in fear



I'm so sorry it's short. Mom's extremely sick as she's down with severe typhoid. I'll try to make it longer next time
Meanwhile, they've vanquished their second demon

🌸 Episode 3 🌸


Previously on Charmed

"You three have 48 hours to decide whether you choose to accept your witchly fate" he told them
"We get to decide?" Mel asked in surprise
"Oh yes, being a witch is a fully prochoice enterprise and the decision must be unanimous. If you refuse, everything since made possible by magical intervention will be undone" he explained as Mel's face fell.


"You guys" Maggie yelled
"This demon harvest witch organs for freaking smoothies" she complained as she stared at a page in the book
"Don't worry, the underworld doesn't know your powers have been awakened" he assured them. Meanwhile, a crow which was among the ones who entered the house the night their mother died passed the house slowing it's movement when it got close to it.
Maggie slammed the cover of the book and stood up
Finally
"No way, I am not doing this, I don't want to end up in a smoothie" she said with annoyance and disgust as she handed the book over to Mel making her and Harry stand up
"Maggie, this is our legacy" Mel tried to explain "Mom wanted us to do this and now, we can figure out who killed her" she said as she clutched the book tightly to her chest
"I'll uh..let you three patch it out. If you need me, call, or uh, text snap or twitter dm" he said with amusement as the ladies looked at him in confusion
"Well, just call my name and I'll magically appear" he told them then snapped his fingers and disappeared. They gasped in shock then he appeared again making the shock even worse.
"I just wanted to show you the effects" he told them smiling while their mouths were wide open
"They, uh, prefer I get around like a regular person now to blend in" he told them then hurriedly walked out
"It's a fall of idio. It must be. He induced it somehow" Macy said as she stood from her chair after sitting for a while making their eyes turn towards her
"You did just see that guy disappear into thin air, right?" Mel asked Macy as she held the book tightly
"And you think us actually being witches makes more sense?" She asked her
"Yea" Mel answered
"I do, it all makes sense. Throughout history, strong women were called witches and they are. We are. We have to unite to change the power dynamics to ride this ship. Change the course of humanity" Mel said with a lot of excitement then a phone chimed.
Maggie pulled her phone from her pocket and smiled
"It's Lucy. She wants me to go to the Kappa house" she said smiling
"Seriously? No interest in changing the course of humanity?" Mel asked
"Witches aren't real" Macy defended
"There's a scientific explanation for this" she said then walked out. Maggie didn't say anything but followed Macy leaving Mel to deal with her thoughts.
Maggie walked down the street in the dark as she replied a text from Brian

She smiled at the last text then slipped her phone in her jacket pocket then ventured into the woods



Macy sat in front of her laptop doing some research on Telekinesis as what she read shocked her to the bone
Meanwhile, Mel was home watching the news about Professor Thaine's reinstatement showing the old man on his wheelchair answering questions from the press
"Justice was served" he said
"This was a witch Hunt" he finished as Mel gasped at what he said but a knock came on the door
She went to it and opened it revealing her ex-girlfriend, Niko. Yes, Mel is gay or le***an as some would like to call it
"What-what're you doing here?" She asked
"I was worried!" Niko said then came into the house
"You just ran out!" She told her as Mel closed the door
"Yea, um, I'm, I'm sorry" she said with excitement
"Are you okay?" Niko asked
"You know what? I feel better. And I'm sorry about what I said. About you ending things after my Mom died. I know I shut you out" Mel apologized
Niko nodded her head
"You were just so angry" Niko told her
"Yea, that's what my sister said too" Mel replied
"Are you really-" then she stopped talking
Mel looked at her as she noticed she had frozen
"Niko?" She called.
She opened her mouth in excitement and calmed down unfreezing Niko in the process.
"Okay?" Niko asked completing the sentence
Mel giggled excitedly
"Yes. Yes, I'm ok" she told her as she couldn't hide it
"I wanted-"
She took in her breath and Niko froze again
She waved her hands in front of her eyes
"Niko" she called silently
She waved again but when she saw no movement, she squealed excitedly
"Wheeeeeee"
"Ok, I got this" she told herself and calmed down again. She released her breathe and she unfroze
"To be there for you but the anger just got in the way" Niko said sadly
"Exactly" Mel agreed
"The anger got in the way" she said again
"Wow" Niko exclaimed as she couldn't help but notice Mel's excitement
"You really do seem better" she complimented
"I feel better. Like I've come out of a fog"
"I've missed you" Niko said and took her hands
Mel held her and they started kissing. The kissing became more intense
Niko broke it and asked
"Is your sister home?"
"Mmm mm" she replied and they continued and Mel used one hand to shut the door properly since she didn't earlier


Maggie walked through the woods carefully as she observed the environment. She noticed some strange movements as she became cautious then a dog came out. A very cute one which was whimpering
She sighed in relief as the dog stood in front of her as her hands were in her hoodie pocket
"Hi there" she greeted
"Are you lost?" She asked as it started growling then black substances came out of it's eyes making it go wild as it opened it's mouth which was green. It advanced towards her about to jump when she screamed and ran away
She opened the door as her face could be seen with green goo on it and a scattered look
"Mel?" She called in fear
"Where are you? Some freaking demon dog tried to eat my ear stiches with crazy eyes and green goo. The only reason I got away was because this group of drunk guys showed up and-" she yelled as she removed her jacket while Mel rushed down the stairs shushing her
"Don't shush me, did you not hear me say a demon dog-" she said then stopped immediately she saw Niko coming out tying a robe. Yup, they had s*x
"Sorority initiation thing" Mel told Niko as she gave Maggie a wary look. Mags smiled nervously then used her hand to cover the goo on her face.


Macy help her phone with a portable microscope attached to it as she observed the green goo on an experimental sheet which she held with her other hand as the microscope revealed the content
"So just to clarify" Maggie began "ex s*x or are you and Niko back together?" She said mischievously
"Priorities, shh" Mel told her
"So what do you think?" She asked Macy as she noticed her discomfort observing the specimen
"I think I've never seen anything like this before" she said
"Yea, pretty sure it's supernatural oos" Maggie joked
"But it seems to be surrounding a non-supernatural cell" Macy said with surprise
"Some kind of hydrochloric acid" she finished
"Well, there are about a thousand demon dogs in this book. It could take hours to find a spell" Mel said as she skimmed through the Book Of Shadows
"Are you seriously being serious?" Maggie asked
"I just barely got away from that thing. I'm not interested in hunting it down"
"What other choice do we have?" Mel asked her
"Uuuuuuuhm, we choose not to be witches. We avoid demon dogs till tomorrow then everything goes back to normal" Maggie told her
"Baking soda" Macy said as they turned to her
"I need baking soda" she said again then walked out leaving Mel and Maggie together before Harry appeared scaring the girls
"Why didn't you summon me"? He asked
"I told you if you needed me, you could text-"
"Stop talking. I have a question" Maggie cut in
She raised her hair revealing the injury she sustained from that demon dog
"Is this gonna scar?" She asked
He brought his palm to her face healing it as his hand brought out white light which headed the wound immediately. Guess we all see why he's called a whitelighter. She touched her face as she couldn't feel anything
"Good news, I'm a healer. No scar. Bad news, looks like something in the underworld knows you three had your powers activated. I was wrong" he admitted
"If you're wrong, then what's the point of calling you?" Mel asked sarcastically
"That's a paradox for another day. Here's what I can tell you. A demon dog always comes with a demon owner. Typically, a possessed human who we've got to find. Now did anyone know where you were going before you were attacked?" He asked as the girls looked at each other then Maggie answered
"Just Lucy. The president of Kappa" she said then thought about it
"And I heard her thoughts saying she had to get rid of me. I thought she might cut me from rush" she said shockingly
"Course it's her." Mel said mockingly. Apparently, she had always hated Kappa
"So is there like a spell to defeat her?" Mel asked
"Oh yes, of course" Harry replied
"In a 2000 page book or tome, I should say, so let's get reading" he said and made to turn the pages when Macy came to them
"Or" she began "use sodium bicarbonate" she said with smiles
"Look" she told them
She took the specimen and sprinkled the soda on it dissolving it immediately wowing them in the process
She picked the microscope and the specimen taking another look at it
"Like I said , some kind of hydrochloric acid so sodium bicarbonate neutralises it" she said proudly
Harry folded his hands
"Oh wow, saves a lot of time" he said
"Right, let's go get rid of Lucy" Mel said
"Stop, we can't just get rid of the president of Kappa" Maggie spoke
"We can if she's a demon who killed our mother" Mel said
"What if she's not and you make some crazy scene?" Maggie asked
"Guys" Macy tried to interrupt
"Are you scared Lucy is gonna ruin your rush?" Mel asked
"Yea, I am" Maggie said truthfully
"Hoho, I can't believe this" Mel said as she laughed sarcastically
"I'm sorry, I want a life when this is over" Mags replied her scornfully
"With them?" Mel asked
"Yeah, with them"
"Why?"
"Because they don't blame me for Mom's death" Maggie spat out angrily with a shaky voice rendering Mel silent
She tucked her hair behind her ear and spoke again
"I get it. You think if I'd answer my phone, you would've gotten here in time. But I can assure you, I blame myself everyday" she said then walked out leaving Mel with the others
Mel looked at Macy who stood looking at her as she couldn't interfere in their issue


Maggie went to the porch downstairs and hugged herself as the weather was chilly. She heard some creaking and she looked to see what it was
"Who's there?" She asked
She heard another rustling again and when she turned, a black bag was used to cover her head
Macy came down the stairs in a bid to talk to Maggie as she called out but couldn't see or hear her anywhere
She saw the open and she became worried
"Maggie?" She called as she rushed down
"Maggie?" She called again but didn't see any sign of her


The bag was removed and Maggie could finally breathe well. She opened her eyes and she saw Lucy with some other Kappa members wearing angelic clothing. Lucy wore a white crop top with skimpy skirts and had wings strapped to her back signifying an angel.
"Welcome to Kappa" Lucy greeted
"You are now part of our sisterhood. Congratulations" she told them excitedly and the other girls with Maggie squealed in excitement. Only God knows what's so special about that sorority
The other members clapped for them as Lucy waved the bag in the air and bent to Maggie's level
"Come upstairs later. I have something special for you" she said in a creepy voice which gave Maggie the chills.
Meanwhile, Harry, Mel and Macy were out in the woods looking for Maggie with their phone torches as they called her name with the hope of getting a lead or something.

Maggie opened the door of the toilet and peeked a bit but before she could do anything, another guy entered the bathroom exposing her and she walked out
"Maggie, what took you so long in there?" Lucy asked the moment she saw her and walked to her
Maggie wanted to make up an excuse but what saved by Brian.
"Maggie?" He called when he came down the stairs. She looked at him and haves a sigh of relief.
"Hey, hi, um, I'll be back" she told Lucy, tucked her hair behind her ear and went to meet him
Lucy carried a mischievous face and went the other way
"There she is. Go find Maggie" Mel told Macy both holding packs of baking soda as they sighted Lucy
Lucy walked into a room with some sporting equipments and went behind a pool table.
Mel walked in too and Lucy turned to her smiling nervously
"Hey Mel, I'm waiting for your sister but since you're here-" she said but was cut short by Mel who poured the pack of soda on her
"Be gone, demon" she yelled but nothing happened
Lucy stood covered in soda gasping as she couldn't believe what happened
"What the hell?" Lucy asked
"You're not a demon?" Mel asked back
"Excuse me?!" Lucy asked her in shock
"Uuum, i just mean theoretically, I think you're kind of bitchy" she said as a cover-up making Lucy chuckle
"I was offering you a drink from a secret stash because all Greek parties are drying out since Karma girl" she said in a creepy voice which displayed her anger. Seems Maggie's rush is ruined. All thanks to Mel.
"Sorry" Mel said sheepishly then ran out




Mel plumped on the couch releasing a breath she didn't know she held. Brian s**t the door as she came to sit by her.
"You seem so stressed" he told her as she tucked her hair behind her ear. Ok, what is it with this girl and tucking her hair?
"Is it rush?" He asked
"Yea, mostly" she said nervously
"You care so much about what people think. You know, I think you're perfect" he said in a hoarse voice as she looked at him suspiciously. Something doesn't feel right
"Can I kiss you?" He asked
"One last time?" He added them she nodded her head.
She placed her hand on his shoulder when she heard his thoughts
'Prepare yourself for the end' it said
She gasped then removed her hand
"You know what, I'll pass on the kiss" she said as she became scared
"Too bad, you already said yes" he said as his eyes turned black and demonic coming towards her
She pushed him with all her might
"I know what I said and I can change my mind at any time" she yelled and pushed him off her throwing him on the floor
"Oh My God, black eyes" she said excitedly
She got up and ran for the door when she saw him there already. She screamed in shock as she sighted him
"Not so fast, Mags" he told her as she ran for the door
He grabbed her but she pushed him to the chair then Macy opened the door. She screamed and poured the soda on him tossing him on the floor as he shook vigorously.
"Oh My God" Maggie said as she and Macy were looking at him
"Oh My God, is he dying??! Is he dying?!" She asked again
"I don't know!" Macy screamed
He continued shaking till his face turned purple and he laid still. A black smoke came out of his mouth signifying the demon and he became normal again
"Oh, thank God" Maggie said and rushed to help him up
"What happened?" He asked
Maggie didn't say anything but kissed him instead while Macy smiled


The three sisters were walking down the street as they talked
"I'm just saying. That was a kiss" Macy told Maggie smiling
"It was all the adrenaline" Maggie replied blushing
"Infact, adrenaline doesn't have much effects on human emotions besides a fear response" she said mockingly
"Oh My God, if you had been my sister longer, I would've told you to shut up" Mags said making both of them laugh
They chatted for a little while before Maggie turned to Mel who was silent the whole time
"My God, are you for real pouting because you missed out on the fight?" Maggie asked her making Macy look at Mel
"I'm not pouting" Mel answered
"I dont pout" she said again
"A partial observer, you pout" Macy said cautiously
"Yea" Maggie agreed
"It's just that I finally found how to freeze things and I was excited to try" she explained
"So how'd you do it?" Macy asked
"Whatever. It's not important" she answered rudely
"Come on, action, reaction, what was it? What changed?" She asked curiously
She mumbled something but they couldn't hear it
"Mm?" Maggie asked
"It works when I am not angry" she said with a sigh
Maggie and Macy stared at her before they burst into a round of laughter. Only Maggie though. Macy just stood trying to conceal the laughter
"Oh My God, your powers are judging you" she said mockingly making Macy laugh
"Hahaha, it's hilarious" Mel laughed sarcastically
"It is" Maggie said as they continued walking
"But I did want to say.." Mel began making Mags and Macy stop
"I'm sorry. And I don't blame you. I blame myself. I knew something wasn't right that night. I knew. But I still wanted to leave the house and-" she spoke but was cut short by Maggie
"Stop" she told her
"It's not your fault either"
"I shouldn't have shut you out. I am your big sister. I'm supposed to nurture you so hard, you know?" Mel said then they hugged each other. Ugh, puh-leez
"Heey, now, see? This is good. You two are so much better together" Macy complimented
"Mom said that" Mags said as her face was wet because of tears
"So what was she like?" Macy asked
"Well, lucky for you, I am a firm believer that if it's not on camera, it didn't happen" Maggie said as they showed a video of their mother carrying a cake out of the kitchen singing joyfully as they celebrated Maggie's graduation from high school. Macy watched it then dropped it when it finished
"You know, when I was 9, I had a birthday party. I was so sure she contacted me through an ouija board" Macy said with a sad face
"Yea, maybe she did" Maggie replied trying to comfort her as they sat on her bed with Macy in the middle.
"She probably could" she said again
"Yea, maybe. You're right. She seems great but she also left me sooo..." Macy said sadly the sighed. Mags touched her arm and felt her emotions
"Oh no, you were really lonely growing up" she said and Macy looked at her questionably
"I'm sorry, I read your thoughts" Mags explained
"Yea, I guess sometimes I was" Macy replied with a broken voice then smiled
"I definitely didn't have this" she said referring to the sisterhood stuff.
"Sorry, it's ridiculous. I've cried twice in my life" she apologized as she felt weird crying in front of them.
"Oh, it's ok. We cry all the time around here" Maggie said
"Totally" Mel chipped in finally after minutes of silence.
"Anyway, I'm leaning towards a test tomorrow on the whole witch thing. But whatever you both choose, I'll be cool with" Mel told them
"Thank you" Macy said while Maggie carried a surprised face
"Come on, you both had a demon from Mag's rush, right? That was next level. And clearly, it was Mom's dying wish" Mel encouraged and pressured at the same time leaving Macy confused
"Sorry, that is what she does" Mags explained to Macy
"Oh, ok" Macy said
"Can we go back to whatever we do, you're cool?" Maggie asked making she and Macy laugh
"I am cool, trying to be cool. I want to be cool" Mel said nervously as they all laughed

Macy stayed in the middle as she looked at her sisters who had already fallen asleep
She reminisced on Harry's words as she looked at each of them
'You are the Charmed ones, witches who are destined to save the world, the demon who killed our mother, there was eye sets at the scenes, we can figure out who killed her, the characteristics, nearly 2000 demons associated with cold'
The words of each individual rang in her head as the door opened slowly. She went to it and opened it gently


Macy ran down the stairs with the Book Of Shadows in her hands as she saw Maggie coming from the Kitchen getting ready to go out
"Does my dress look angry like it did in the rally?" Maggie asked the money she saw Macy
"You look good" Macy replied hurriedly
"Listen, it wasn't cold, right?" She asked Mags
"What?"
"Sorry, I haven't slept. I'm a scientist. Evidence is repeatable and the demon in Brian wasn't cold which means it wasn't the demon that killed our mother. And crows. You said there were crows. So I started thinking maybe there's an angle. Plus the cold factor...wait, where's Mel? Let's get Mel" She asked a confused Maggie
"She's already at the rally" Maggie answered
"To protest Professor Thaine's reinstatement?" She added
"Oh no!" Macy said with a scared face



And the battle begins. Sorry I haven't posted. Mom's very sick. Ok, so this is getting hotter. Who else feels off about Professor Thaine? And I personally feel Mel is a control freak. No wonder her powers judge her too
