A #NonPartisan, #TransCultural, #PanEthnic socio-political movement of #WeThePeople of #Nigeria.! Arise O’ Compatriots.! Indeed, we are weaker as individuals.
Citizens Alliance, Nigeria is a socio-cultural and political movement of the people, by the people, and for the good people of Nigeria. It is the united community of all verifiable citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, wherever they live or work, irrespective of ancestry, with due reference to Section 25 (i) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended. This is the people’s unity forum for progress
ive engagement with #themselves and their #government for national development. The Alliance, otherwise referred to as the #CitizensAllianceNG [@AllcitizensNG] is an open-membership, non-governmental, non-partisan platform of #WeThePeople, a rendezvous for civil action. The Alliance was born out of the persisting need to re-echo, unite and synergize the individual voices, passions, diversity, creativity and strengths of #WeThePeople of Nigeria for national re-birth and development; as a response to the #PanEthnic clamour for equal opportunity to the commonwealth of our land; while promoting the spirit of #oneness, #brotherhood, #peace and #prosperity as one people with a common heritage and destiny [the Nigerian-Dream]; hoping to facilitate a #TransCultural integration of positive values and interest from all ethnic groups to achieve a “Nigerian culture”; organizing, mobilizing and creating awareness about the ideals, power, possibilities, rights and responsibilities vested in the person of the “office of the Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”, as guaranteed within the framework of the Federal Constitution, as amended. Citizens Alliance, Nigeria was founded on June 3rd, 2018, the Alliance is convened on behalf of the people, dedicated to the cause of the people, and for the people’s civic business of nation building & development, and it is to be sustained and owned by the collective will of the good people of Nigeria through designated trustees. Citizens Alliance is, and shall remain a #NonPartisan, #TransCultural, #PanEthnic #movement of #WeThePeople for national rebirth from a country of divisions to a united #Nigeria of empowered #Citizens. The total empowerment of the #Citizen, equal opportunity to the CommonWealth of our nation, and the enthronement of the rights and responsibilities of the "Citizen” is our existential objective, solemn mission and perpetual focus. Now more than ever, it is apparent that the burgeoning divisions that stall our national progress as one people, has in times past and will in future impede any attempt by any sub-group to secede. So, it’s high time we laid aside every divisive weight, and every element of discord and retrogression, and began to unite for our common development as Nigerians. Ethnic and religious divisions only made it easier for usurpers to exploit and divide us as a people. We will be stronger together as one people, to deliever on our natural place as the pride of Africa, the bastion of hope for all black people, and an eminent member of the comity of nations. Arise O' compatriots & occupy your civic Office.! This is not the time to #GiveUp, it is time to #RiseUp. It is time to say never again. Never again would will allow corruption and injustice be excused on the altar of tribalism and religion. Yes, never again shall crime, suffering and oppression be known as the emblem of Nigeria. It is said that when injustice become law, resistance becomes a duty, and injustice to one, is injustice to all. So, Citizens Alliance, Nigeria. will stand-up for the rights of the citizenry above any other interest, demand accountability and transparency from public office, in the spirit and letters of unity and faith, peace and progress for the people of Nigeria. The seed of a greater Nigeria is hereby sown. This herald the beginning of the death of the current Nigeria ridden with tribal, religious and ethnic sentiments, and a deliberate attempt to build a new Nigeria, of one people, one culture and equal opportunity. It shall spring forth and blossom as a nation of equal citizens. No tribe, ethnic group or religion is a citizen of Nigeria. So, no tribe or religion should impede our progress as a people. It is the people, and only the people that are, and shall be #Citizens of Nigeria. Sovereignty and power belong to the people, the citizens, according to Section 14(2) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended.
#WeThePeople must know and uphold the fact that #NigeriaIsOurs, and that #NigeriaWeServe. Irrespective of your secondary citizenship of any other place, Nigeria is, and shall always be the ONLY place that you can unapologetically lay claim to as home. Hence, we must join hands, pledge our allegiance to the #NigerianDream”, and work together as one united people for her development. We pray to the God of creation to direct this noble cause, to guide every citizen right, as we #moveforward together, as one people, one nation under God. Long live the #citizens of Nigeria. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.! I am #Citizen (Dr.) Abraham Idokoko,
The Convener, Citizens Alliance, Nigeria.

65 years after the colonialists left their proxies in charge of our rich multinational land to implement neocolonialism to date, Nigeria is everything but, free, independent or truly sovereign.👌🏾
Irrespective, on this 65th anniversary of our potential national independence, we can ONLY pray that the "God of creation will direct our noble cause to true nationhood" but, "arise O' compatriots, Nigeria's call" to greatness must be obeyed to give the next generation the freedom, independence and prosperity they deserve.
The Nigerian Federal Government tax reform bills have been formally signed into law. If implemented correctly, these new tax laws are a commendable step in the right direction for the Nigerian economy.
Accordingly, this becomes the first noteworthy achievement of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's government. Meticulous ex*****on is needed however, to see the expected results.
It is each citizen's responsibility to know what taxes he/she is required to pay and the exemption applicable. We hope everyone decides to read the laws for themselves, and ensure you do NOT continue paying what you have been given exemptions from.
Equally, the government at the Federal, States and Local levels have had their tax duties redefined and laid out. It is NOT only to collect the tax, the citizens must now see and expect dividends of the taxes paid in terms of social services and equity.
May Nigeria succeed.🙏🏾

Now that the infamous coupist, "maradonic usurper of state powers", and renowned blood-tainted Minna-minted dictator has publicly confessed to treasonable crimes and the annulment of Nigeria's widely acclaimed June 12, 1993 election mandate, what will you, the persevering citizens of Nigeria, do about it? Unequivocally, my namesake, Babangida's book is a "shameless dance on the grave of our fellow citizens" who were murdered....
Hello, what do you think of the concept of "free will"? Do you truly have a will that is free? Before you conclude, you may wish to listen and read from what other logical minds have to say about it in this new post.
It's delightful to see Mr. affirms the core ideals that birthed our conviction to convene a new alliance of Nigerian citizens for good governance [Citizens Alliance, Nigeria], as the most rational and best ROI approach to moving Nigeria forward today and assuring the next generation of a more functional nation than we met it.
The unfortunate reality is that any clamour for secession & new state creation in Nigeria is a deliberately funded distraction meant to dilute a united national coalition for good governance and fiscal federalism in Nigeria, which is guaranteed to work for everyone's interest. That tactic worked for the colonialist's divide and rule modus operandi, and it has worked thus far for the neocolonialist's hegemonic agenda.
The losers in the doomed quest for any secession from Nigeria today are the people. The hegemonic interest love and thrives on those secessionist movements, as it provides the necessary dynamics for continued oppression, misrule, failure of governance, exploitation and plunder of the people and resources, while keeping status quo of a perpetually promising Nigeria of endless "never-to-be-actualised" potentials.
Sadly, ONLY a deep rational thinker & insightful logical mind will understand the sad game at play in Nigeria since the colonial era. A superficial, robotically-reasoning mind would always jump on the bandwagon of secession with the usually sensational face value of let's break the entity down to achieve smaller homogeneous entity that would work better. But, it is lucid to the blind that even if Nigeria is divided into 774 new countries along the boundaries of its current LGAs, 99.99% of the new countries will still fail.
The bad governance curse on Nigeria is not explained simply by the size of the country or our ethnocultural differences. If you know, you will know that Lagos is as badly governed as Yobe state, and that Cross river, Sokoto, Kwara or Bayelsa is NOT any different.
There is something every rational Nigerian across all divides agrees on and can unite around, and that is fiscal federalism and good governance. The superficial divisions along tribal and religious differences are ONLY exploited, magnified and funded by international hegemonic interest with the absurd collaboration of their local unpatriotic proxy-partners, that we wrongly call our rulers or politicians or even "leaders".
As divided as Nigeria seems today, any secession movement will still naturally fail but, a vanguard for good governance and a united national front for fiscal federalism will naturally succeed. It is why the hegemonic interest prefers and chooses to perpetually fan the frames for the destructive fire of secession that will surely guarantee the disorder and distractions required to keep Nigeria a failed and captured state for their selfish interests. As long as the quest for secession, tribal and religious differences trumps the much needed united quest for better governance and fiscal federalism, Nigeria will remain a failed state.
As the year ends and a new one begins, it is another moment to review your vested interest in the Nigerian state, NOT only for yourself but, for your children, the future generations and strategically, for the entire global "African or black race", whose outlook and fortunes in the comity of nations would be different with a thriving and successful Nigerian state.
Don't keep silent and leave the Nigerian problem to the next generation. Posterity beckons you to join the solemn coalition to salvage the "Nigerian dream" today. Nigeria can work and shall work if you keep speaking up for good governance, standing up against injustice, discrimination and oppression of any one or group, and invest your time and resources in your local organisations and political structures. Stop 🛑 leaving politics and governance to the most crooked, naive and clueless amongst us. Nigeria is too blessed with bold, courageous and intelligent people to fail. It is too late to give up on the struggle for a better Nigeria. Aluta continua, victoria accerta.
Seasons greetings to you & yours.!

Congratulations Nigerians, a new president and commander in chief of the armed forces has officially taken charge of Nigeria.
As foretold, General came, saw and evidently messed it all up. He has returned home to Daura to do what he should have been better off doing in the last 8years, run his cattle ranch.
Irrespective of your affiliation or perspective, Mr. Bola Ahmed GCFR has been constitutionally sworn-in today, and he is now responsible for the direction and fortunes of the Nigerian state. His policies and actions will rub off on each of us, wherever we live on this planet, for as long as we still carry the Nigerian passport as citizens.
Accordingly, it is in order to wish him and his cabinet every good success with any people-oriented actions they will embark on in the days ahead. May win..🙏🏿
