AGM, 2015.
ADVANCING OPTOMETRY IN NIGERIA: RESEARCH AND ETHICS.
Greetings from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Nigerian
Optometric Association (NOA) Conference and 39th Annual General Meeting,
2015. The LOC wishes to register its profound appreciation for the great
interest so far expressed by members of the NOA nationwide, and we pledge
total commitment to making the Conference a memorable one for all of us.

PRE CONFERENCE WORKSHOP:
The Pre-Conference Workshop is mainly a new innovation by the present
Exco and the LOC aimed at deepening practical experience in optometry
with a touch of next generation impetus and to raise the consciousness of the
practitioner in new developments within the industry.
The areas covered include:

into two groups of 50 persons for each course
The workshop has been more than 400 percent subsidized and each
participant is expected to pay a token of N3,000 for lunch and workshop
materials. It is a hands-on, fully practical training aimed at demystifying Slit
Lamp Biomicroscopy, Visual Fields Interpretation, Scientific paper writing and SPSS, at the end of which a Certificate of Participation will be issued.
Please note that the workshop is absolutely optional and has very limited
spaces for optometrists who wish to enrich themselves by participating. It
does not affect the total Credit Points obtainable from the Conference, in anyway whatsoever. However, mere registration for the conference does not guarantee maximum units as all the conference guidelines and conditions will be used in awarding credit points.
