Ondo State SDP
The government claimed Atiku's Intel is defaulting in remittance, hence no administrative communication or query is needed but outright cancellation of the contract.
Before, capable firms were handling our national gas, and Nigerians were buying cooking gas for prices below N2000. But since Abba Kyari's firm Gigagas took over it has been hell with prices of gas because of scarcity due to the firm's lack of capacity to deliver. Yet the contract is still running, not terminated.
It's about 2019, and believe me Waziri will pay more prices.
SDP is on the Rise Again!
Watchout as the Social Democratic Party takes over and brings the true Dividends of Democracy to the masses.
SDP... Progress!!!

A STUDY OF POLITICAL CORRUPTION - Corruption can only be defined where there is a consensus on what should constitute the ideals of the society. Political corruption is a general term for the misuse of public position of trust for private gain. Encyclopedia Americana defines political corruption as: "......the illegal pursuit or misuse of public office. Electoral corruption includes purchase of votes with money, promises of office or special favour, coercion, intimidation, and interference with freedom of election.
Corruption in office involves sales of legislative votes, administrative or judicial decision or governmental appointment. Disguised payment in form of gifts, legal fees, employment, favour to relatives, social influence, or any relationship that sacrifices the public interest and welfare, with or without the implied payment of money - is usually considered corrupt."
From the above, it can be said that all players in our democracy, the office seekers, politicians, the electorates, the electoral commission officials, our various security agencies, the press and judiciary are collaborators in the corruption that has eaten deep into our national psyche. Yet, many of us do point accusing fingers to the politicians alone. If the politicians offer money to buy our votes, why do we have to collect it? When the office seekers offer bribe to INEC officials for undue advantage over other candidates, why not reject it if they are not aiding corruption? What about the press that will only report what the politicians want them to publish in the face of serious abuses? Our judiciary is not left out. Look at various judgements that have been delivered so far on the cases involving Ali Modu Sheriff and Markafi factions of PDP. Our security agencies are even worst of. I could recollect my experience in the last year legislative election in Ondo State. I reported to the police officers attached to my polling unit how some agents of a PDP were openly sharing money to electorates to vote and show them where they thumb printed before coming to collect N1,000. Some voters even boasted that they would not vote until a particular aspirant grease their palm with money. Whereas, they are selling their inalienable right, the right of choice. So,the police officers told me clearly that I should come and share my own money. Sharing money on queue became an acceptable conduct at voting centres just 'cos the officers have been compromised. Are they not part of this corrupt nation we are talking about?
We all heard what transpired at the just concluded APC governorship primaries election held very recently in Ondo State. How the so called delegates turned the Governorship aspirants to money spinning machines. How on earth will the outcome of such highly compromised process reflects the yearnings and aspirations of vast majority of members of the party? I leave the rest for posterity.
If Nigeria must get it right, all of us without exception must be prepared to be upright and do what is just. A Governorship candidate that spent almost a billion Naira before he could emerge as candidate of a political party, we can now begin to imagine how many billions he will have to spend before winning the general election. Will any right thinking person blame such a Governor when he starts to recoup his investment at the expense of social amenities and infrastructural decays? This is where we use to get it wrong.
Think twice before you accuse anybody of corruption 'cos you too are corrupt. The degree of your corruption is directly proportion to the privilege you have. I am not justifying corruption or corrupt acts with this write-up but rather using this to call for good conscience by all. We should forgo corruption if Nigeria must get it right and move forward. There is no small corruption. Corruption is corruption.
Let me leave you with one of the judgements of Jesus Christ to His disciples in the Bible when the disciples accused a woman of committing adultery. Jesus told His disciples that any of them that have not committed a sin should cast the first stone. None could. They all went away in shame. Goodmorning Nigerians.

ONDO GUBER POLLS: AGUNLOYE'S EMERGENCE AS SDP CANDIDATE UNSETTLES APC, PDP- Authentic News Daily.
There are strong indications that the emergence of the former
Minister of Power, Dr. Olu Agunloye as the flag-bearer of the
Social Democratic Party (SDP) ahead of the governorship
election in Ondo State has sent fears into the camps of the
All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP).
Agunloye emerged as the SDP candidate at the weekend after
other aspirants in the party stepped down for him even before
the day of the primary which held last Saturday in Akure.
Information available to our reporter revealed that the
candidature of the former Minister who hails from Akoko axis
of the state is already altering the political calculations
among the major contending parties due to what was
described as initial miscalculations by both the leaders PDP
and APC in the state.
It was also gathered that “Agunloye is believed to be the most
popular of all those aspiring for the governorship seat in his
senatorial district. Not only that, his rising popularity among
the political top notches in both APC and the PDP is giving
the king makers of Tinubu and Mimiko great concerns, as
intelligence reports making the rounds has it that some
aggrieved APC aspirants and their supporters have vowed to
support Agunloye if Tinubu succeeds in imposing his favoured
candidate on APC.
“The story is not different in the PDP where Gov Mimiko has
handed the party ticket to Jegede, the immediate past Ondo
State. Attorney-General as the party flag-bearer.
Further findings revealed that Agunloye enjoyed the royal
blessings of being a prince of two prominent cities of Akure
and Owo which are home to the highest percentage of the
voters in the state is a reason some planners in the other two
leading parties fear that Agunloye may not be an easy nut to
crack.
“Agunloye is a great grand son of Deji of Akure through his
grand mother and grand son of Olowo of Owo through his
mother.
It was also gathered that some APC aspirants were said to
have met with the SDP candidate a day before his primary to
negotiate their interest to back him, while some PDP
Chieftains and aspirants have sent him congratulatory
messages.
The source revealed further that “Agunloye’s initial stint in
PDP, APC and Labour Party is working in his favour as
members of both parties see him as part of them some even
vowed to risk anti-party accusation to work for him
underneath.
“Another factor is the integrity and influence of the national
chairman of the SDP in the state. Also to Agunloye’s
advantage is the Afenifere factor. The National leader of
Afenife, Chief Reuben Fashoranti is a highly respected
community and opinion leader in Akure, and he is said to
have endorsed Agunloye.”
Ondo Guber: SDP ready to provide
best Alternative – Duyile
Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ondo
State, Chief Korede Duyile, has said the party would be ready
to provide the best alternative and choice for the people of
the state ahead of the November 26th governorship election
in the state.
According to him, residents of the state are already tired of
the mis-governance under the current administration of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the failed promises of
the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the federal level.
Duyile, in a chat with newsmen shortly after attending a
public function held in Akure, the state capital, said the
prospects of the SDP is very high being the third force ahead
of the guber poll in the state.
He stated that the SDP, which is largely known by its symbol
of a white horse representing "strength" would participate
actively in all the process in the November 26 governorship
poll in the state and confirmed that the party would field a
credible candidate that would win convincingly in the coming
governorship poll and provide the best alternative for the
people in the state.
His words: "Our prospects are very high given the current
political environment in the state and the realities on ground
because the government of the PDP) has not impressed the
people while that of the APC which slogan is change has
turned to shame.
"So, if the two political parties which are supposed to provide
good platform for the people are not fit, then the people
would look for an alternative and the SDP would provide such
best alternative and choice for them", Duyile said.
He added that the party would be willing to conduct free, fair
and transparent primary for its aspirants and the emergence
of the candidate that would flag the party's banner in the
state governorship poll slated for November.
His words: "We are going to have a credible candidate by
conducting a transparent (election) primaries and the party's
manifesto which I wouldn't want to reveal now is clearly far
above that of other political parties in the state.
"Our constitution states a democratic process through
transparent primary election for the emergence of our
candidate to choose among the aspirants under our platform"
he said.
According to him, the duo of Olu Agunloye, a former Minister
of Power and steel, and Pius Dawodu, a lawyer and both from
Akoko Area of the state have shown interest to contest and
flag the SDP banner as its candidate in the guber race.
He added: "The two of them would subject themselves to the
rules and regulations of the party but if by chance they agreed
among themselves, then we can pick a candidate".
Duyile, expressed optimism that the SDP would be at the
helms of affairs of governance in Ondo State next year
February after the party might have succeeded in winning
landslide in the forthcoming governorship poll.
He, maintained that if the electoral umpire display high sense
of professionalism and give room for free level playing
ground, the SDP would remained unbeatable in the election.
The party leader also admonished the headship of all security
agencies in the state to avoid being compromised by
unscrupulous politicians and their political parties as the
campaigns for the election draws nearer.
