VP OSINBAJO COMMENCES SERIES OF INTERACTIVE ENGAGEMENTS WITH OIL-PRODUCING COMMUNITIES IN FG'S RENEWED EFFORT TO RESOLVE NIGER DELTA CRISIS

* To visit Delta, Bayelsa & Rivers States

In further demonstration of President Muhammadu Buhari's readiness and determination to comprehensively address the Niger Delta situation, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, will be visiting a number of oil communities across some Niger Delta States starting on Monday, January 16, 2017, when he travels to Delta State. At a later date to be announced soon, the Vice President, Prof. Osinbajo would also be visiting Bayelsa and Rivers States.

At these visits, the Vice President will lead high-level delegations of the Federal Government that will interact with leaders and representatives of the oil-producing communities in continuation of ongoing outreach efforts of the Buhari administration towards a long lasting and permanent resolution of the Niger Delta crisis.

The Buhari presidency is fully committed to having an effective dialogue and positive engagement that will end the crisis in the oil-producing areas, and believes that these visits would further boost the confidence necessary for the attainment of peace and prosperity in the areas and the Nigerian nation in general.

us from using almost all dollars earned from crude
sales to import petroleum product, dollars will
automatically fall and prices of goods will come
down. That's when Nigerians will actually see that
God has started Nigeria's restoration to the path of
glory.

Come to the energy sector, there are many ongoing Power Projects that will over time make Nigeria energy sufficient. Buhari has a policy of Energy Mix, which will ensure that the sabotage of power infrastructure in the Niger Delta is tackled. All the hitherto abandoned sources of hydro-power have been enjoying repairs, about 10 of them are being repaired all at once.
Other regions of Nigeria have identified energy sources that will make them independent of Niger Delta gas. Today wind and sun energy are being harnessed from North East and North West, Coal in the South East, Hydro power North Central and the rest. In no distant future, one of Buhari's ambitious power projects, Mambilla 3,000 plant will gush energy with ease. That is DEVELOPMENT.

The past administrations had been insincere with the energy sector. These other administrations spent over 36 billion dollars and could not generate 3000 megawatts. Meanwhile China spent 25 billion dollars in eleven years to generate 22,000 megawatts. Meaning that given the same time Buhari with this same efforts Buhari will take us there.
That is FORESIGHT.

FOOD PRODUCTION:
By 2018, all our rice consumption needs will be locally met. Tomatoes and many others too.
LESS DEPENDENCY ON IMPORTS.

The construction of Second Niger Bridge is under way,
Calabar to Lagos rail, Lagos to Kano rail, Ibadan to Lagos rail and many other ambitious projects that will restore Nigeria to it's former glory are being undertaken by Buhari.
The last administration only spent 18 billion naira on road network, Buhari has committed 350 billion to roads.
That is CHANGE!

No QUICK FIXES:
Buhari banned 41 Items in the Forex list to help boost local production and protect naira. Why can we not key in to this? Some wise entrepreneurs are exporting. It's time to export, let Nigerians put on their thinking caps today and stop listening to these thieves in PDP confusing them. LEADERSHIP COURAGE:
Subsidy removal was to stop the elite from robbing you of the money we need to develop.
Past administrations refused to do it because they were beneficiaries and they lack the moral rectitude to do it. 1. Agreement between OCP Group and Dangote Group to develop the fertilizer business in Nigeria

2. Cooperation Agreement between Dangote Group & OCP Group in strengthening the local blending capabilities and Agricultural Ecosystem

3. Agreement on the Exemption of Visas for Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports

4. Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) between Nigeria and Morocco

5. Agreement on Marine Fisheries Cooperation (Minister of Agriculture, AuduOgbeh signed on behalf of Nigeria)
