Twenty-One Reasons Why It Is To Your Benefit To Re-elect President Tinubu in 2027

Tinubu has been President for only two years and:

1. He has added $67 billion to Nigeria's GDP, moving us from a ₦269.29 trillion economy on May 29, 2023, when he became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today

2. He has fixed our broken and unfair tax system

3. He has delivered a 3.84% quarterly GDP growth in 2024. Our best economy in a decade, according to CNN

4. He has "stabilised" our economy, according to Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director General of the World Trade Organisation

5. He has moved Nigeria from being Africa's number one fuel importer to being West Africa's top fuel exporter

6. He has signed the New Minimum Wage Bill, which passed, and now pays federal workers a ₦70,000 minimum wage (state civil servants, please hold your Governor, not the President)

7. He has fixed our federal system by ensuring true federalism through Local Government autonomy

8. He has fixed our Naira by floating it, and ending the previous practice of subsidising the Naira with $1.5 billion monthly

9. He has started two roads that will cut across Nigeria, including the 1068-kilometre Illela-Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway and the 750-kilometre Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway

10. He has reduced our debt from $113.7 billion, which he inherited from General Buhari, to $97 billion today

11. He has doubled federal allocation to the states from what they were under Buhari

12. He has sent almost 1 million indigent Nigerians to universities through his Student Loan initiative

13. He has kept his promise that a four-year university course would be four years, because he will ensure that ASUU does not go on strike

14. He has improved the ranking of Nigeria's passport on the Henley Passport Index to 88th best in the world as of July 18, 2025, a rise from 92nd in July 2024

15. He has ended passport scarcity

16. He upgraded Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to become the most modern.

Bus Terminals and Teaching Hospital Budget: Peter Obi and Lies are 5 and 6!

Today, Peter Obi engaged in another series of lies and misinformation, which have become his stock in trade. His latest attempt to de-market Nigeria is to attack plans by the Federal Government to build bus terminals in each geopolitical zone, amongst claims that the money voted for such is inflated.

First of all, Nigerians may recall that after the removal of fuel subsidy, the Federal Government pledged to invest in transport infrastructure to cushion the effect of the removal on Nigerians.

The plan was to provide CNG buses and terminals for these buses to make public transport more efficient and less expensive for citizens. Having a bus terminal in each geopolitical zone helps achieve that.

These terminals are being built not for ₦142 billion each, but at a total cost of ₦142 billion for the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria. That is equivalent to $92 million.

In contrast, and please fact-check me, Egypt, a country that Mr. Peter Obi likes to praise as an example to Nigeria, just spent 5 billion Egyptian Pounds, equivalent to $105 million, on just one Central Bus Station in its New Administrative Capital.

Just one bus terminal in Egypt costs $105 million. Yet, Peter Obi is accusing the Federal Government of waste when Nigeria is spending just ₦142 billion, or only $92 million, to build bus terminals all over Nigeria!

And again, Peter Obi lied about the budget for Teaching Hospitals and Psychiatric Centres being under ₦100 billion, and claiming that that is smaller than what is budgeted for bus terminals.

Yes, the subvention for these hospitals may be under ₦100 billion, but these institutions do not survive on that. They are revenue-generating institutions whose generated revenue funds their operations. The ₦100 billion is just a subvention, not the money they rely on.

Peter Obi knows this. But he believes the Nigerian people are not smart enough to know this. So he is gasli

The $238 million JICA loan, complemented by Nigeria's N19 billion counterpart funding, will fund the construction of:

- 104.59km of 132kV double circuit lines
- Four 330/132/33kV substations
- Two 132/33kV substations
- Multiple line bay extensions to improve efficiency and reduce system losses.

Additionally, three substations funded by JICA through a $32 million grant are set for commissioning in Apo (FCT), Keffi (Nasarawa State), and Apapa (Lagos State). These projects will enhance supply reliability for households, businesses, and industrial clusters, including critical facilities like the Lagos Port and surrounding areas.

The stool of the Ooni of Ife occupies a unique place in Yoruba history and tradition. While some may attempt to downplay its importance, the legacy of Oranmiyan, son of Oduduwa, and the first Alaafin of Oyo, offers a clear testimony of its supremacy.

Oranmiyan was not only a formidable warrior but also a statesman who spread the institution of kingship across West Africa. Historical traditions recorded by Samuel Johnson in The History of the Yorubas (1921) and Jacob Egharevba in A Short History of Benin (1968) affirm that Oranmiyan established the Obaship dynasty in Benin (Ile-Ibinu) and later laid the foundation of the Oyo Empire, which grew to become one of the most powerful political entities in precolonial Africa.

Yet, despite these accomplishments, Oranmiyan returned to Ile-Ife, where he ascended the throne as Ooni. This symbolic act underscores a crucial principle: no throne created by Oranmiyan or by any of his descendants could surpass the original stool of his father, Oduduwa, the progenitor of the Yoruba people. By returning to Ife, Oranmiyan himself acknowledged that spiritual legitimacy and ancestral authority reside in Ile-Ife, the cradle of the Yoruba world.

Therefore, for any descendant of Oranmiyan whether in Oyo, Benin, or elsewhere to undermine the Ooni’s authority is to reject the very foundation upon which their own crowns rest.

The Ooni’s stool is not merely another kingship; it is the fountainhead of Yoruba civilization, embodying both spiritual primacy and ancestral continuity. Respect for the Ooni is thus not a matter of personal reverence but of historical necessity, because without Ile-Ife, no other Yoruba throne can claim legitimacy.

OORE OF MOBA DEBUNKS ALLEGED CONFERMENT OF OKANLOMO OF YORUBA LAND CHIEFTAINCY TITLE SAYS OONI'S ROYAL TERRITORIES STEM BEYOND YORUBALAND

The attention of the Adimula Oloore Oodua, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adekunle Adeagbo, the Oore of Otun-Ekiti and paramount ruler of Mobaland House of on the media attack by the Alaafin's palace on the House of Odùduwà, which transcends beyond the shores of Yorubaland into the wider African space, cutting across the Itsekiri in Delta State, Benin Kingdom, Ga tribe in Accra Ghana, Ashante Kingdom of Kumasi, Ghana as well as the LUO tribe in Uganda, Ga-Adangbe tribe in Ghana, and many more, in which the Arole Odùduwà Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, D.Litt, CFR, Ojaja II, that Ooni does not have the power to confer the title of Okanlomo of Yorubaland.

For the avoidance of doubt, Ooni has never conceived it, talk less of installing anybody as the Okanlomo of Yorubaland. We therefore challenge anyone with verifiable evidence that Ooni has traditionally or culturally installed such a title on anyone to present it to the public.

It is important to note that as the Natural Father of the Yoruba race and spiritual head of Odùduwà race worldwide, the Ooni wields unequivocal authority to bestow titles of territorial relevance if and when necessary. However, His Majesty’s vision and preoccupation are far greater than minor chieftaincy titles. His focus rests on the larger task of unifying our people across Nigeria and Africa who trace their origin to Ilé-Ifẹ̀ for peace, progress, and development that far transcend such narrow contestations.

Since ascending the throne of Odùduwà, Ooni has carried out only three official territorial chieftaincy installations namely; The Odole Oodua, Iyalaje OODUA and Yeye Oodua all deeply rooted in spiritual and ancestral imperatives, which Baba Ooni had bestowed on Sir Dr Adebutu Kensington, Princess Dr Toyin KOLADE and Erelu Abiola Dosumu respectively.
