I extend warm Christmas greetings and Happy New Year wishes in advance to Ekiti Kete Youth across the state, on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Development.

The Christmas season offers us an opportunity to reflect, give thanks, and renew our hope for a better tomorrow. I urge our young people to continue to uphold the values of love, unity, discipline, and service, which remain essential to personal growth and the overall development of Ekiti State. I am deeply encouraged by the resilience, creativity, and determination consistently demonstrated by Ekiti youth, and I commend you for your positive contributions to our state.

MINISTRY OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES PROGRAMS TO CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2025

The Ekiti State Ministry of Youth Development is pleased to announce a two-day line-up of impactful events in commemoration of International Youth Day 2025, aimed at celebrating the creativity, resilience, and contributions of young people while highlighting government-led initiatives for their development and empowerment.

Day 1 – Tuesday, 12th August 2025
The day will kick off with an *AWARENESS WALK IN THE MORNING*. This walk is aimed at creating greater awareness of the numerous opportunities currently available for young people in the state and across the country, while also enlightening participants on how to access and benefit from them.
In the evening, the Ministry will host a World Press Conference to share with the public and the media the wide range of opportunities that is being implemented by the Federal and State Governments. These initiatives cut across skills development, entrepreneurship support, innovation, education, and other youth-focused programs designed to empower and uplift the younger generation thereby bringing more youth into the shared prosperity mantra of Ekiti State Government.

Day 2 – Wednesday, 13th August 2025:
Activities will continue with “*Celebration of Our Stars*”, a *mentorship and interactive session* designed to connect accomplished individuals with aspiring youths. This program will provide a unique platform for sharing experiences, offering guidance, and inspiring the next generation of leaders and change-makers in Ekiti State.

The Ministry invites all stakeholders, youth organizations, and the general public to participate in these activities as we collectively honor the energy, vision, and innovation of our young people.

EKITI YOUTHS APPRECIATED FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN “YOUTH, LET’S TALK WITH BAO” 3.0

The Ministry of Youth Development, extends profound gratitude to all Ekiti youths across the three senatorial districts, North, South, and Central for their overwhelming participation in the just-concluded “Youth, Let’s Talk With BAO” 3.0 interactive engagement.

This engagement series, spearheaded by His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, provided a unique platform for young people across the state to directly interface with the Governor, express their aspirations, share their ideas, and raise their concerns. The sessions reflected the Governor’s commitment to youth inclusion in governance, policy formulation, and sustainable development.

The success of this initiative underscores the vitality, intellect, and unity of Ekiti youths, who turned out in large numbers and engaged meaningfully throughout the tour. Their participation and feedback will guide future interventions and programmes aimed at addressing youth-centric challenges and empowering the next generation of leaders.

The Ministry of Youth Development, is proud to announce the third edition of Youth, Let’s Talk With BAO! an open and impactful interactive session between the youth of Ekiti State and His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

This unique engagement is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 24th to Thursday, 26th June, 2025 across the three senatorial districts of the state:
