Dear family,

Inspired by your overwhelming support and passion towards our collective agenda of emplacing a purposeful and impactful representative at the Red chamber, I submitted my expression of Interest and nomination forms this afternoon at our national secretariat, Wadata house Abuja.

I am most encouraged by your determination, commitment and unconditional support since I began my consultations on a vision for a better Ondo Northern Senatorial district. We have started well and we haven't lost steam because of your doggedness, pertinacity and devotion. But we must continue to engage the delegates and critical stakeholders constructively and persuasively in the few weeks left before the primary election.

With God on our side, we shall win the primary and then, go on to win in the general election. This is God's project that I am indeed privileged to be steering. May the almighty God give us the victory we so desire. May the sun of grace, shine on us in Ondo North! Ese Pupo!

AKOGUN GREETS MUSLIMS IN ONDO NORTH ON THE COMMENCEMENT OF RAMADAN, ASSURES OF QUALITY REPRESENTATION.

A foremost aspirant for the Ondo North Senatorial District under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe welcomes Muslims faithfuls in the District to the holy month of RAMADAN, a season of self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less privileged.

In a message signed by the Head of Public Communication, TOKs4Senate'23, Wale Obanigba Esq, Akogun enjoins them to use the opportunity to pray for unity, peace and progress of Nigeria especially at time of uncertainty, fear and economic downturn being currently witnessed by the people.

He said, "Nigeria presently needs the intervention of God to solve the mirage of challenges facing the country under the All Progressive Party, I therefore enjoins you to use the period of this intense prayer to seek the face of God on behalf of the country, and the people of Ondo North Senatorial District in particular.

He said further, "Islam is a religion of peace that upholds the values of tolerance and mutual co-existence, without a place for hatred and violence" and therefore admonished peaceful co-existence amongst the residents of Ondo North Senatorial District and Ondo State.

He therefore assured them of quality Representation when elected to represent them at the 10th National Assembly.

AKOGUN ADETOKUNBO MODUPE OBTAINS NOMINATION FORM.

After weeks of consultations with critical stakeholders and party stalwarts across the Local Governments in ONDO North Senatorial District, Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe has obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination Form at the Wadata Plaza, the National Headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abuja.

Expressing his confidence to emerge as the party's candidate, Akogun assured that with the level of despondency towards the abysmal performance of the ruling All Progressive Party by the people of Ondo North Senatorial District and Nigeria at large, he will surely deliver the Senatorial District to the party come February 2023.

Therefore, he urged the members of the party to keep hope alive because better days are ahead.

*ONDO NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT 2023: AKOGUN ADETOKUNBO MODUPE CONSULTS WITH STAKEHOLDERS.*

It was a rousing welcome as Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe met with leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Ondo North Senatorial District to inform them of his intention to vie for the ticket of the party for Ondo North Senatorial District.

The meeting which had all the Chairmen, Secretaries, women leaders and youths across all the six Local Government Areas of the District was held at the compound of His Excellency, Ambassador Roland Omowa in Oka, Akoko West Local Government of Ondo State.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairmen and the stakeholders, Mr Fatai Ajayi, the Chairman of PDP, Akoko South West Local Government expressed his optimism that with Akogun on the ballot, the party will deliver ONDO North in 2023.

He said despite that Akogun Modupe lost the same ticket in 2018, he delivered his polling unit, Ward and Local Government for the party in 2019 Election at his personal expense.

He therefore urged Akogun to keep the tempo of the campaign high, moving forward to the primary election.

In his comment, Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe popularly known as TPT expresses his joy to the rousing welcome accorded him by the stakeholders.

He said he has always been a loyal and committed member, who has contributed his own quota to growth of the party within the District and the State at large.

He said the importance of the meeting is to apprise the Stakeholders of his intention first before going to each of the Local Governments to solicit the support of the delegates at the forthcoming primary elections of the party.

He assured members that with him on the ballot, he will surely deliver the Senatorial District because people are fed up with ruling APC in Nigeria.

Politics, democracy and good governance is baneful or in jeopardy when those aliens to party mechanism and processes were given chance to political power on the basis of sentiments such as tribal or sectarian agitations within our political space regardless of competence and capability.

The above assertion and idea have been experimented and found very unproductive to the general expectations and aspirations in Ondo Senatorial district over the years.

Effective representation, interest aggregation and articulation is no doubt a function of individual characteristics and personalities that have been tested and trusted in terms of party loyalty, the commitment to political and party ethos in all circumstances.

It's therefore imperative on the merit of the above considerations that Tokunbo Modupe is given our mandates to the Red Chamber for the greatest happiness of the greatest number of people.
