We form synergy with the government and relevant stakeholders to meet the developmental needs of our farmers at the grassroots.

WHO WE ARE?

📌An apex body of many farmers that cultivate cocoa and plantain with a geographical reach of 28 States in Nigeria. Our long-term vision is to "bring back the past glory of Agriculture in Nigeria". We hope to achieve this while implementing the following objectives:
📍Building the capacity of cocoa and plantain farmers on ways of meeting international market standards for the commodities;
📍Meeting both local and foreign industries’ demand for raw materials that are cocoa and plantain based;
📍Adding value to cocoa and plantain by establishing processing centres so as to boost the economic indices that measure growth of the commodities, i.e. the gross domestic product (GDP), employment creation and income generation;
📍Acquainting our numerous members on the climate change coping strategies and encouraging them to adopt/practice climate-smart agriculture;

📍Bringing together all the actors in the cocoa and plantain value chains so that the broken chains will be repaired and giant strides will be taken towards achieving self-sufficiency in cocoa and plantain commodities.

This organization(Cocoa and Plantain Farmers Association of Nigeria) is a registered body of cocoa and plantain farmers across Nigeria. It operates under the leadership of Erudite President Ayodele Ojo Joseph Esq. with a membership base of 100,000 members in 28 cocoa and plantain producing states of Nigeria.

Our mission is to "bring back the past glory of agriculture," and we diligently strive to realize this goal every day.
