INDUCTION PROGRAM FOR NEWLY EMPLOYED HEALTHCARE WORKERS IN ONDO STATE HOSPITALS MANAGEMENT BOARD.

The Ondo State Government recently held an induction program for newly employed healthcare professionals. The event marked a significant milestone, as the new recruits were thoroughly mentored on the ethical standards, best practices, and professional conduct expected within the healthcare sector.

During the induction, the participants were guided through the core values of the profession, highlighting the importance of compassion, integrity, and accountability in delivering quality healthcare services. They were also educated on the key responsibilities and expectations for effective service delivery throughout their careers.

In addition to discussions on the ethical dimensions of their roles, the following critical areas were covered:

Patient-Centered Care: Emphasis was placed on delivering services that prioritize the dignity, respect, and holistic needs of patients.

Compliance with Regulatory Standards: Healthcare professionals were briefed on the need to adhere strictly to the laws, guidelines, and protocols governing the practice of healthcare in Ondo State and Nigeria.

Team Collaboration: New workers were introduced to the value of inter-professional collaboration, stressing the importance of effective communication and teamwork in improving patient outcomes.

The general public is invited to note that Ondo State Government has approved the filling of vacancies in the Hospitals under the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board for the following positions:

1. Medical Officers [Grade Level 13/CONMESS 3]
2. Nursing Officers [Grade Level 10]
