RT. HON. GBEGUDU APPLAUDS GOV. AIYEDATIWA'S REMARKABLE STRIDES IN INFRASTRUCTURE, INVESTMENT AND HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT

The true measure of leadership lies in visible development and meaningful improvements in the lives of the people. Across Ondo State, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa continues to demonstrate this through strategic investments in infrastructure, employment, healthcare, security and economic growth.

Rt. Hon. Gbegudu Ololade James has commended the Governor for the ongoing Ore–Okitipupa Dualisation Project, the Akure Flyover, road construction across the State, transformer distribution, revitalisation of public water supply, the recruitment of over 930 health professionals, improved welfare for Amotekun personnel, the renewed drive to reactivate the Olokola Free Trade Zone and the recent $200 million Presco investment which is expected to boost agriculture, industrialization and job creation in the State.

He described these initiatives as clear evidence of good governance and expressed confidence that the administration's people-centred policies will continue to attract investments, expand employment opportunities and deliver lasting dividends of democracy to the people of Ondo State.

RT. HON. GBEGUDU COMMENDS GOV. AIYEDATIWA'S TRANSFORMATIVE STRIDES IN HEALTHCARE, INFRASTRUCTURE AND HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT

Rt. Hon. Gbegudu has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for what he described as a remarkable demonstration of purposeful leadership through recent approvals and interventions across critical sectors of the State.

Rt. Hon. Gbegudu particularly applauded the recruitment of over 930 health professionals into the State's healthcare system, describing it as a bold investment in the wellbeing of the people and a strategic step towards strengthening primary healthcare delivery across the 18 Local Government Areas of the State.

The Deputy Speaker also hailed the approval of major infrastructure projects, including the proposed flyover bridge in Akure, as well as the construction and rehabilitation of key roads such as the Irele–Sabomi–Igbotu Road, Agadagba–Ile Ikiri–Igaligbo Road, Okumo–Igodan Lisa Road, Oba–Ikun–Afo–Idoani Road, Imo Arigidi–Agbaluku Road and the Arigidi–Oke Agbe Road. He equally commended the rehabilitation of the Owena Multipurpose Dam and the procurement of modern medical equipment for the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo.

He further expressed appreciation for the Governor's commitment to the ongoing strategic projects such as the Okitipupa–Igbokoda dualisation project, noting that the road remains a critical economic corridor for the Southern Senatorial District and a testament to the administration's resolve to drive sustainable development across Ondo State.

The approval of pension, health insurance, life insurance, hazard allowance, regular promotion structure and improved working conditions for officers of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps by Gov Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa stands as a remarkable and commendable milestone in the history of the security outfit in Ondo State.

This welfare package, arguably the most comprehensive since the establishment of Amotekun reflects a government that truly understands the sacrifices and dedication of security personnel who work tirelessly to protect lives and property across the state.
