Satiah and Aaru walked close to each other in the market. Satiah had a white shawl on her head covering her hair and a red scarf was tied round her cheek to the back of her hair, covering half of her face.
Aaru didn't hide his face like she did and was greeted by everyone who saw him. Some people at the market were dressed in cheap karasiris. with some transparent enough to reveal their upper body, while some had a shawl on.
They seem not to care about their dressing. Some men, where also dressed in a white linen tied around their waist, with some reaching below the knee and others above the knee. Unlike the men she had seen so far, Satiah noticed that most of them don't have any jewelry on except a few.

Actually, Satiah was an obedient child that would do whatever her parent told her to do without an argument, but this time, she argued with her dad. And now, she is eating her meal, not bothered about what her dad said. Could this be the effect of the poison she took?
