In continuation of the hearing of a petition filed by Alh. Nasiru Abdulaziz Abubakar in a petition No.BA/JPI/PT/015 against the Nigeria police force Bauchi.
Petitioner counsel Y.A Yusha'u Esq inform the panel that he has a witness to take subject to the convenience of the panel and that of the counsel's for the respondent's.Both Counsel's are ready.

Today the 20th day of January,2021 heard a petition filed by comrade Adamu Bala in a petition No.BA/JPI/PT/013, against the Nigeria police force.When the petition was call the petitioner counsel, Kabiru Ibrahim Esq inform the panel that he has a witness in court who's the petitioner himself. And that, the witness is a deaf and dumb.
But he call the interpreter who's yet to arrived and urge the panel to stood down the matter until the interpreter arrived. When Haruna Ibrahim Esq who represent the commission was asked didn't objected So also Ali Shehu Esq who's for the Nigeria police force didn't objected.
Panel, petition No.BA/JPI/PT/013 stood down to the last on the course list. When the matter was call, the learned counsel for the petitioner inform the court that he has taking a fundamental hints and alight himself with the submission made by E.A Adejeji Esq in another petition before the panel in petition NO.BA/JPI/PT/004 filed by Mr. Joseph Golu,that Ali shehu esq who's appearing for the Nigeria police force Isn't supposed to be in the matter since he's from the ministry of Justice Bauchi. And that there was no petition against the ministry of Justice. In response to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, E.A Adedeji Esq, Ali shehu esq inform the panel that the ministry has power to take over any criminal case Iniated by the police and for that urge the panel to discontenance with the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
Haruna Ibrahim Esq Who's for the Commission urge the panel to uphold the submission of the learned counsel for the respondent.

Heard a petition filed by malam Ibrahim maladi family in a petition No.BA/JPI/PT/010 Against the Nigeria police force Bauchi.
Consel to the petitioner Kabiru Ibrahim Esq Applied to adopt his petition which is dated 29th day of November,2020 and filed on the 2nd day of December,2020.
After adopting his petition before the panel of inquiry, Counsel apologize to the panel and other counsel for his inability to assemble his witness as earlier scheduled.And urge the panel to direct the Honourable Attorney general and commissioner for Justice to punish the panel of inquiry with the case diary and advice to the panel on or before the next adjourned date.
Also D.S.P Bala Yunusa urge the panel to direct the chief Registrar High court of Justice Bauchi to punish the panel with the judgement order and record of proceeding earlier obtain before former high court no.6.
When asked Yakubu Bako Esq,who appeared with Haruna Ibrahim Esq for the Commission said he's not objecting to the application made by the counsel's.
Panel.it is hereby ordered that the Honourable attorney general and commissioner for Justice to transmit the case diary and the advice to the registry of the panel and also direct the Registrar to punish the panel with a certified copy of the judgement. Mean while petition adjourned to 04th day of February,2021 for hearing.

POLICE PARADE 35 SUSPECTS INCLUDING ONE FEMALE FOR ARMED ROBBERY, KIDNAPPING, OTHERS
Re-arrest 5 inmates who escaped from Edo Correctional Centre
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested thirty-five (35) suspects comprising thirty-four (34) male and one (1) female for their involvement and indictment in cases of armed robbery, kidnapping and other heinous crimes in some parts of the country. Also arrested are five (5) inmates who escaped from lawful custody from the Benin City Correctional Centre during the ENDSARS protests.
Exhibits recovered from the suspects include: 8 AK49 rifles,1 Beretta Pistol with 6 rounds of live ammunition, 3 locally made pistols, 111 rounds of AK47 ammunition,10 AK47 magazine, 5 live cartridges,7 Laptop computers, 1 anti-tracking device,1 camouflage vest, 8 stolen but recovered vehicles, 1 stolen but recovered trailer truck (Mercedes Actros with reg. no. NNK 334 YT).
Notable amongst the cases is the re-arrest of five (5) inmates who escaped from lawful custody at the Oko Correctional Centre, Benin City during the ENDSARS protests. The suspects, Onaruje Benjamin, who had earlier been convicted for Conspiracy and Armed Robbery and was on death-row at the time of escape, Adebayo Opeyemi, a dismissed soldier, Peter Felix Osas, Frank Odion Oloye and Alhaji Hudu Musa a.k.a Mai Cellular were arrested by operatives of the FIB – Intelligence Response Team in Kaduna State for the offences of Armed Robbery, Car Theft and Unlawful Possession of Fi****ms. Investigations reveal the suspects having escaped from the Correctional Centre, formed a new criminal gang and returned to their old criminal enterprise. As a matter of fact, one of the suspects, Onaruje Benjamin, snatched a Toyota Corolla Car in Benin, 30-minutes after his escape from the Correctional Centre. Five (5) vehicles earlier snatched from their owners at gun point in different parts of the country were recovered from the gang. While Onaruje Benjamin is the leader of the gang and the arms bearer, Alhaji Hudu Musa is in charge of ferrying and disposing the stolen vehicles to Niger Republic.
Also arrested is one female suspect, Talatu Ibrahim, 40years old from Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara State from whom six (6) AK49 rifles were recovered. Her arrest led to the subsequent arrest of one Duleji Alhaji Abubakar a.k.a Ori jeje residing at Ekka village, Koro LGA, Kwara State. Findings reveal that Ori Jeje has been getting arms supply from Talatu Ibrahim to carry out series of kidnapping and armed robbery in Kwara State.
The operatives also arrested one Abdullahi Mohammed a.k.a ‘Governmenti’, a specialist in car snatching. Investigation reveals that the suspect, within 90-days (August, September, and October, 2020) snatched 18 vehicles at gun-point from their owners in Jos and Bauchi States.
Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, NPM, mni has reassured citizens of the renewed commitment of the Force to their safety and security. All the suspects will be arraigned in court on completion of investigations.
