PRESS RELEASE!!!.

Saturday, Thursday 5th, September, 2019.

DEMOLITION OF TRANS AMADI CENTRAL MOSQUE, PORTHARCOURT BY RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT: GOVERNOR WIKE'S SYSTEMATIC RELIGIOUS CLEANSING, PERFECTION OF CHRISTIANIZATION AGENDA AND IMPUNITY TAKEN TOO FAR.

Especially those residents in Portharcourt Indigenous of Toro, Rivers State, woke up on Tuesday, the 20th day of August, 2019 to witness surprisingly, illegal demolition of an ultra modern Trans Amadi Central Mosque, Port Harcourt by the Rivers State government led by Mr. Nyesom Wike.

It needs to be stated clearly that the land upon which the mosque was built is not in any dispute while its Survey Plan No. AI/RV2009/D13 and Building Plan No. RTP/09/617 were duly approved by the same Rivers State Government.

I wonder why a religious place of worship accomodating more than ten thousand(10,000.00) worshippers should be demolished without any understandable cause and genuine reason why no any necessary Action been taking as Government plays with security until with get chronic.

But then, I recall that the Rivers State Governor, Mr Wike on some occasions in the recent past boasted that Rivers State is hundred percent Christian despite the presence of a good percentage of Muslims who are not only residents but indigenes of the State.Could this wanton destruction be an attempt to fulfil Gov Wike's stated interests in making Rivers a 100% Christian state? I Ask? What might follow? Killing of Muslims? How far can Gov Wike goes? And its will not only stop on Muslims only innocent soul will be involved if measures is not taking.

I will wake up one day to see a government orchestrated mass killing of Muslims in Rivers State? Indigenous Muslims and non-indigenes alike? Has Governor Wike started a journey into mass murder of Muslims or is he just playing high level politics with people's lives and properties? I Ask?

I really don't know how far Gov Wike is willing to go in pursuance of whatever is driving him but l call on all well meaning Nigerians, Muslims and non Muslims alike to call him to order. An attempt to lay on dangerous religious sentiments to gain some political popularity is a very low level that all men of decency should avoid. Most Especially using Political Gender and Ethnicity.

I deem it important to note that l have read in the newspapers and Video clicks that Governor Wike claimed he did not demolish a mosque but agreed that he demolished a structure purportedly without a government approval. This is a clear lie, again a low level that a governor should not be descending to.The property is duly approved by the Rivers State Government with Building Plan No RTP/09/617.

In Conclusion, On behalf of all My Friends, Family, and Love ones Nationwide I condemn in the strongest term the illegal demolition of the central mosque. It is insensitive, unwarranted and uncalled for.It is a flagrant disregard to the right of Muslims in Rivers State to freedom of religion as well as right to own immovable property. I want the Governor and the Government to note that all what is happening the world is watching Aha.

Section 38 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) gave right to freedom of religion and it stated thus:
"Every person shall be entitled to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, including freedom to change his religion or belief and freedom (either alone or in community with others, and in public or in private) to manifest and propagate his religion or belief in worship, teaching, practice and observance".

In a similar vein, Section 44(1) of the constitution gives freedom to own property whether moveable or immovable anywhere in Nigeria to all Nigerians irrespective of their tribe, ethnicity or religion. The said Section 44(1) stated thus:
"No moveable property or any interest in an immoveable property shall be taken possession of compulsorily and no right over or interest in any such property shall be acquired compulsorily in any part of Nigeria except in the manner and for the purposes prescribed by a law".

I therefore, call on the government of Rivers State, to as a matter of serious urgency, to come out publicly Apologize to Nigerian Muslims for subjecting their brothers and sisters in Rivers State to this psychological torture and agony by demolishing an ultra modern mosque worthy of several millions of Naira.

I also demand for immidiate payment of enough compensation to the Authority of Trans Amadi mosque for reconstruction of the mosque on the same land and make sure such Renboree didn't occur in future.

I humbly use this medium to also call on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, our Able Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed among other Governor of the 36 States of the federation And Caretaker Chairman Toro LGA leadership and the entire members of the National Assembly, State Assembly, Religious leaders, Traditional rulers, religious groups, human right groups, Students Unions, Non Governmental Organization, media houses to condemn this act of impunity and call Governor Wike to order and not to put Nigeria into another avoidable Un-End crisis. As l stand the Youths Activist.

Long Live Tilden Fulani,
Long Live Toro LGA,
Long Live Bauchi state,
Long live Rivers State,
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

SACKING OF APPOINTEE; A SIGN OF GOOD OMEN IN GOVERNANCE.

His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir have taken a good step to earned the confidence of people like me, if he will continue to match his words with action.

One faithful evening, I received a call from someone very closed to the Sen. Bala Mohammed asking me if i will be available for a meeting with the Governor elect. I decided to honor the invitation because the state chairman of PRP Alhaji Shehu Barau Ningi and that of GPN Hon Sani Bura were all invited. The purpose of the brief and concise meeting is for the Governor elect to thank us for the fairness we shown and standing for justice at INEC on the issues of Tafawa Balewa result and rerun election.

I can't quote him verbatim, but his words were; I know you did what you do at INEC not because of me but for Bauchi and I'm don't contest this election for personal benefit rather than to make Bauchi great. He continue by promising us that we will not regret our actions and he wish we will make ourselves available for governance together with our gubernatorial candidates.

In the course of our discussion, he summarized the success and failure of all the administration we have in Bauchi from 1999 to 2019 and he promised to be different from them as he learned from the mistakes. While we are having the meeting, one of the political stakeholders from Bauchi LG entered the room abruptly and Kaura send him away without hesitation. He then complained "this is the kind of indisciple that I will not tolerate from my aide. I told them i will be in meeting and he is not part of it, why would he entered? He feels too big to wait for me to finished discussing with you. I will certainly teach them a lesson".

That day, I see a different Kaura from the one I read and hear about. Despite the seriousness in his voice and emotion on his face while talking, I refused to be taking for a riddance that he mean what he is saying. Even when my mind was telling me to do so. But with the sacking of his appointee, I now see a sign good omen in his adminstration. There is an indication that prophets of doom and nay sayers will be disappointed if Gov. Bala will not allow politics to interfere with governance.

Your Excellency, you have to be bold and no nonsense with the task before you. You must improve on moral standard in government and society to served as a strong foundation for good governance. You must change the character of our politics to promote fertile ground for reforms else nothing good will happen.
Wish you all the best.
