My dear brothers, sisters, and loyal supporters,

Our great party, APC, has successfully conducted a peaceful and transparent consensus process under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni and Senator Ibrahim Geidam. Candidates have emerged at all levels for the 2027 general elections.

We congratulate Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali mni, as a consesus Candidate for Governor, while His Excellency Mai Mala Buni for Yobe East Senator, and Dr. Mohammad Goje as Ag. SSG.

You will recall that I offered myself to represent our constituency in the House of Representatives. However, in the spirit of unity and fairness, it was agreed that the seat rotates to other LGAs.

This decision was not easy, considering your support and sacrifices, which I deeply appreciate. But as an indigine of Gujba local government, loyal party member, I must put APC and Yobe State first. I fully accept this decision in good faith.

I urge you all to remain calm, united, and committed. Let us work together for APC’s total victory in 2027.

This is not the end—just a new chapter. Together, we will continue to serve our people.

Together, we move Yobe forward.

Assalamu Alaikum,

Mun karanta rubutunka, kuma muna son fayyace wasu muhimman abubuwa gare ka. Da farko, kana ikirarin cewa babu wata matsala tsakaninka da Hon. Nuhu, amma a aikace kana daukar wani mataki da ya saba da hakan. Wannan ba kawai sauyin ra’ayi bane, akwai alamun rashin daidaito tsakanin maganarka da aikinka.

Ka bayyana cewa ra’ayin siyasa ne kawai ya sa ka dauki wannan matsayi, amma ya kamata ka sani cewa siyasa tana da tushe na tsayawa kan akida da amana. Sauya matsayi ba tare da gamsasshen bayani ba, na iya haifar da tambayoyi daga jama’a, musamman idan kai da kanka ka taba jan su zuwa wata tafiya a baya.

Bugu da kari, abin da ya fi daukar hankali shi ne yadda kake yawan hada hoton Hon. Nuhu Baba Hassan a cikin rubuce-rubucenka tare da surutai marasa kan gado. Idan ka zabi wata tafiya daban, me yasa har yanzu kana jingina sakonka da sunansa? Wannan yana nuna rashin tsari da rashin tsayawa kan magana daya.

Haka kuma, ka sani wannan tafiya siyasa ce ta zone, kuma ba constituency daya kuke ba. Don haka, ba daidai bane ka rika kokarin jawo hankalin jama’ar da ba su karkashin wakilcinka ta hanyar irin wannan rubutu mai rikitarwa.

Game da batun zagi ko shagube, babu wanda ke goyon bayan hakan. Amma ka sani cewa irin yadda kake gabatar da rubutunka shi ma yana iya jawo irin wannan martani daga jama’a.

A takaice, muna kalubalantarka da ka fito karara ka bayyana matsayinka cikin tsari da gaskiya, ba tare da rikita al’umma ko amfani da sunan wasu ba. Idan ka sauya akida, ka tsaya a kai cikin mutunci—amma ka daina cakuda maganganu da ayyuka masu karo da juna.

LETTER OF RESIGNATION

I am writing to formally resign from my position as the Focal Person for the North East Development Commission (NEDC), effective 31st March 2026. I was appointed to this role on 20th August 2024 by His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN.

2. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve in this capacity. Throughout my tenure, I have endeavored to contribute positively to the development initiatives of Yobe State and the North East region. My efforts have been directed towards ensuring effective coordination and implementation of NEDC projects. The experience has been both enriching and fulfilling, and I am grateful for the trust, support, and guidance extended to me by the State Government and my colleagues.

3. This resignation is in compliance with Section 88(1) of the Electoral Act 2026, which mandates political appointees seeking elective office to step down from their positions. I submit this resignation in order to pursue my political career in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

4. I wish to express my sincere appreciation to His Excellency for the confidence reposed in me and for the opportunity to serve under his leadership. Please accept the assurance of my highest esteem and regards.
