INFORMATION ON HOW TO BE SAFE DURING ELECTIONS
Do not debate politics in public. If you belong to a particular political party and there is an issue, don't get involved because it will almost certainly escalate to a confrontation or altercation.
Don't say who you will vote for when you go to the polls. People may have a candidate they vow allegiance to during election season, and some of them may even go so far as to instigate a fight with members of another party.
Never criticise a politician, especially one from the rival party. This is because it's possible you're stepping on people's toes, and they might want to take it personally.
If you are a member of a political party, do not publicly promote or wear campaign uniforms. This is to prevent you from catching the eye of members of opposing parties.
Do not go with large sums of money, fancy equipment, and make sure you stock up your house with food before election day.
Miscreants take advantage of the occasion to steal people's valuables.
