*HOW TO STOP ELECTION RIGGING ON 11TH MARCH 2023*
*My on the field experience on 25th February and lessons from it*

1. LP agents are very naive and not clear on what is expected of them. They are not smart, it was the citizens that did most of the work.
Suggestion:
Create WhatsApp group for each LG and add all the agents and canvassers there.
On election day, agents must
1. Set their camera to have time/date/coordinate stamp....teach them how to do this on the whatsapp group

2. Share picture of the BVAS before voting starts to be sure it is zero, picture must capture BVAS PU no on the whatsapp group by every agent.

3. Share a 30second video showing the end of the count of each 3 main parties. The video must also have date/time/coordinate stamp.

4. Make sure the PO write time of taking the picture of the result with BVAS on the result sheet before the BVAS picture is taken. This will help to calculate the difference in time before actual upload

5. Upload a picture of the result sheets and another picture of the agent with result sheet on one hand and BVAS (displaying result sheet) on another hand to the whatsapp group from the PU immediately the pictures are taken.

6. Insist on cancellation of any unused BALLOT PAPERS AND RESULT SHEETS.

7. Every open space on the result sheet for each party must be crossed with 2 strokes, before the vote count and after the number of votes secured, as shown in the attached sheet.

8. Finally, insist the PO upload the result, be very aggressive here and stand beside the PO to watch as s/he performs it, to be sure *UPLOAD* was clicked and not *EXPORT* and *UPLOAD SUCCESSFUL* shown on BVAS.

9. If the upload is not working, make the INEC PO announce the result verbally and capture it on video for submission. The PO must say announce like *"My name is ....., I am the PO for polling unit......, I have tried severally to upload the result of so so so election, but it's not going, therefore, I wish to announce this result on video for record, I am not under any duress"* PO should mention every details on the result sheet

N.B: When agent upload Result sheet to the WhatsApp group, final remark should read *RESULT UPLOADED FROM PU NO.....* OR *RESULT NOT UPLOADED FROM PU NO....*
