In a landmark Democratic exercise,the Enugu State independent electoral commission (ENSIEC) has conducted the most credible ,free and fair election in the history of Nigeria.

Hon.Dr.Vita Ndu emerged as the new Chairman of Ezeagu Local Government Council alongside with Hon.Mrs.Nkiru Ugwuagu as the Deputy chairman elect ,marking a significant milestone in the Ezeagu election history. This development is a clear indication of the State government's commitment to internal democracy and the will of the people.

The election of Dr.Vita Ndu, a seasoned lecturer of repute and astute leader, is a clear indication of the People's desire for a stronger, more united front. His victory is a resounding endorsement of his leadership acumen, vision, and dedication to the Masses's ideals. Dr.Ndu's emergence as the new Chairman of Ezeagu has sent a strong message that Power indeed belongs to the people and it is poised for greatness, and his leadership will be instrumental in shaping its future.

I equally thanked the Executive Governor of Enugu State,His Excellency Barr
Dr.Peter Mbah for his exemplary leadership and vision in repositioning the state . His commitment to internal democracy, dividends of good Governance, and development has created an environment conducive for free and fair elections, allowing electorates to choose their leader without interference. This approach has fostered a sense of ownership and responsibility among the people, ensuring that democracy remained strong.

The 'Ezeagu Future is Green' campaign team, led by Hon. Vita Ndu, PDP chairmanship candidate for Ezeagu Local Government Council, embarked on a successful tour of Aguobu owa Ward 1, Ward 2, and Awha Ward on September 10th, 2024.

The team received a warm welcome from jubilant supporters.

Speakers at Aguobu owa Ward 2 praised Vita Ndu as the perfect fit for the role, while Ezeagu PDP Chairman, Hon. Steve Anibueze, emphasized the importance of voting for PDP candidates in all 20 electoral wards.

Vita Ndu campaigned vigorously, highlighting the achievements of His Excellency Barr Dr Peter Mbah's administration and urging continued support.

Dr. Sebastine Igboeme, Director General of the campaign organization, assured the public of Vita Ndu's commitment to delivering on his campaign promises.

The 'Ezeagu Future is Green' campaign train swept through Imezi owa Ward 1, Obeleagu Umana Ward, and Imezi owa Ward 2, receiving a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the people. On September 7th, 2024, Hon. Vita Ndu, the PDP chairmanship candidate for Ezeagu Local Government Council, launched his campaign in these wards, accompanied by the PDP chairman of the Local Government Area, Hon. Steve Anibueze, and the Director General of the campaign organization, Dr. Sebastine Igboeme.

Engr.Lawrence Uzor adopts direct engagement on his palliative Support to Widows and Youths of Ezeagu Local Government Council

...as he visits Iwollo ward for the Palliative disbursement.

In a statement issued by Engr Uzor on Friday 28th June 2024,the ongoing palliative Supports to our people will be directly to the grassroots and most vulnerable people in our remote villages.

In continuation of his commitment to the welfare of the people , Engr. Lawrence Uzor has started Sharing the sum of #20,000 to 200 deserving youths and widows in Ezeagu Local Government Council. This initiative stands as a beacon of hope and support amidst ongoing economic challenges, aiming to provide much-needed relief to individuals and families grappling the effects of economic hardship.

Speaking at Iwollo Ward in Ezeagu Local Government Area,Engr Uzor emphasized on the need to continue to Support their people who are in desperate need of help,Stating that the economic hardship is hitting harder on everyone.

Engr. Uzor's decision to allocate the palliative funds across the 20 political wards of Ezeagu reflects a strategic approach to ensure equity by reaching out to those mostly in need regardless of their political class or background .

He demonstrates a deep understanding of the diverse needs within the people and a commitment to inclusivity and fairness.

This cash palliative will come in different batches, minimum of 20 persons are to be paid monthly while it continues in batches untill the 200 individuals and more are paid.

Moreover, beyond its immediate financial impact, Engr. Uzor's palliative support serves as a powerful symbol of solidarity. By standing in solidarity with the people of Ezeagu and beyond as he fosters a sense of belonging and unity, reinforcing the notion that no one in Ezeagu and beyond is alone in facing adversity.

Enugu: Engr Lawrence Uzor Doles Out Cash To Physically Challenged In Ezeagu LGA

..offers to train and empower them on various skills

In continuation of his philanthropic gestures and helping humanity, renown engineer and real estate mogul, Engr. Lawrence Uzor doled out cash to the tune of eight hundred thousand Naira to physically challenged persons in Ezeagu local government area of Enugu State.

Engr. Uzor who stormed the venue of their monthly event at the pavilion, Ezeagu local government area headquarters on Tuesday, encouraged them not to lose hope because God hasn't forgotten nor rejected them.

"The society loves you and we're here to remind you all that you're not abandoned and in our little way, we'll continue to support you.

"Don't lose hope because as long as heaven continues to bless us, be rest assured that you'll remain a priority to us.

He promised them that in the next three months, "we will introduce a programme that will train you and make you have something more sustainable for yourselves. This is a burden on our hearts and we won't relent on it."

He assured them that in few weeks, "those with existing skills will be empowered while those without any skill, the proper modalities will be developed for them to be trained in the coming months.

Also speaking, the former Chairman of Ezeagu LGA, Peter Aniagbaoso said the philanthropy of Engr. Uzor knows no bound and he has always being a giver right from his childhood where he earned the name he bears till date.

"In the last six months, he has been doing so much to help the society. He has given bursary awards to over 100 students, helped over 50 business owners to expand their ventures and over 70 persons are benefitting from his scholarship programme.

"Today, he's here to extend the kind gestures to you and I'm happy he's doing the Lord's work which I believe won't go u rewarded.

"This visit is very special to me of all the things he's doing, this one touched me specially and I pray to heaven to continue to bless him and what you owe him is prayers for God's continued blessings and good health."

The leader of the physically challenged, Ozo Christian Aneke from Eziowelle, Amansiodo who couldn't hide his joy, said this visit is unparalleled in their history.

"Unlike politicians, he hasn't promised us anything, never told us to come to his house and wait endlessly nor subject us to any dehumanising position before offering us this huge assistance.

"We've never seen anything like this and what we can assure him is that we'll continue to pray for him because thank you can't be enough for this kindness and we pray that he will continue to grow from strength to strength in all his endeavours.

Arinze Adamma from Amankwo Ndiagu, the PRO of the group thanked Engr. Uzor for the gesture and described it as "an answered prayer because we've been praying to God to touch our sons and daughters to remember us and he's here today and we can't take him enough.

"His visit has rekindled our hope and without any iota of persuasion nor request, he decided to visit us to donate this huge sum to us. God will bless you more abundantly my brother."

The visit was rounded up with heartfelt prayers and praises to God by the beneficiaries.
