Politics is good, but it should never be pursued for personal gain alone. The moment your only interest is what you can get, you've already lost. You will become easy to buy, use and discard.
Sadly guys, this is what is going on in Gombe South, every four years, the same pattern repeats itself, yet many of us still fail to see it.
To the youth, especially Southern Gombe, I'm beginning to understand our political engagement is moving gradually towards selling rights. I'm following Some of our social media engagements are purely self-centred wallahi tallahi, almost all are working for their belly and immediate personal benefits rather than the future of our people in the South part.
We must rise above the politics of the stomach and embrace clear principle, accountability and development. Until we become wiser and put our collective interest above personal gain, this marginalization we are always complaining about will continue....
The future of Southern Gombe is too important to be traded for temporary favors. The time to think differently is now.
