The team of Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA) led by the Chairman of the Agency, Hon. Justice Eni Esan Rtd. was live with Mayor Isaac Brown on Fresh FM, Ibadan. The visitation was aimed at making known, the achievements of the agency in the last 5 years.
While speaking, the chairman made it known said "OYACA have had no pressure at all on any case. No, none at all. I'm telling you the facts. You see, we are independent when it comes to our investigations. We can even investigate the executive governor if a petition is written against him and we will invite him to OYACA office to interrogate him. He even said it on the day he inaugurated the board that if a petition is written against him, we should investigate him. We have investigated the high, the mighty, all caders of political office holders and civil servants."
The chairman also urged the parents who are role models to always do the right thing because their children are watching. she urged the community leaders, religious leaders in churches, mosques to always pass anti-corruption messages in their domain. The chairman also implored the press to always expose cases of corruption and talk about it. Talking about how public can prevent corruption will go a long way and our society will be a better place to live.
