The passionate drive of the convener to think outside the box in providing solutions to the national housing shortage gave birth to so many affordable housing projects executed by NEXT CITY with the use of alternative building materials: RCCG STAFF HOUSING PROJECT ( built with container), N-POWER JUNIOR SCHOOL PROJECT ( built with container), THE MOST AFFORDABLE & SUSTAINABLE HOUSE IN NIGERIA ( built with cement plastered bamboo technology) at Olohunda, Ibadan. The quest to solve the problem of shortages of trained construction artisans on construction sites led to the establishment of SOUTH WEST CONSTRUCTION ACADEMY which is a community based vocational training academy to train and empower Nigerian youths,with a mission to train 10,000 youths annually. We put this efforts in place to promote skills enhancement and talents to create multiple jobs, generate innovations and solutions in the built environment.
