1. Publication of Notice of Election Time Table and Guidelines: Friday 20th- Saturday 21st January, 2017.

2. Conduct of parties primaries & observation by the Commission: (ongoing) to end on Thursday 26th January, 2017.

3. Collection of Personal Data Forms for candidates by Political Parties (CF001, 002 and others): Friday 27th- Saturday 28th January, 2017.

4. Submission of Personal data forms for candidate of political parties (CF001, 002 and others): Thursday, 26th January, 2017.

5. Screening of Councillorship candidates: Friday, 27th January, 2017.

6. Screening of Chairmanship candidates: Saturday, 28th January, 2017.

7. Appeals/substitution of un-cleared candidates: Wednesday 1st February, 2017.

8. Screening of ad-hoc Staff: Wednesday 1st February, 2017.

9. Delivery of list of screening and cleared candidates to political parties: Thursday 2nd February, 2017.

10. Screening of substituted candidates: Friday 3rd February, 2017.

11. Collection of nomination forms by all cleared candidates: Friday 3rd February, 2017.

12. Submission of nomination forms by all cleared candidates: Saturday 4th- Sunday 5th February, 2017.

13. Publication of names of qualified candidates/ Display of voters register: Monday 6th February, 2017.

14. (1) Submission of names and addresses of party agents to the Commission: Wednesday 8th February, 2017.
(2) Publication of notice of polls: Wednesday 8th February, 2017.

15. End of election campaign (12 midnight): Friday 10th February, 2017.

16. Election Day (8a.m- 3.00pm): Saturday 11th February, 2017.

17. Bye- Elections: Saturday, 18th February, 2017.
