Residents of Onipon Community in OLUYOLE LOCAL GOVERNMENT Area of Ibadan, Oyo State will always have the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project to thank for the massive interventions in their area. Aside the channelization of the flood-prone Ona River passing through the community which has helped safeguard them against annual flooding experience, the old, rickety, dusty bridge linking the community to the rest of the city was replaced with a longer, more capacious, ultramodern bridge.
