BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
Today, I join family, friends, and well-wishers across Plateau State and beyond to celebrate a man I am proud to call my leader, my brother, and my friend, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
Ours is a bond that did not begin in the political arena, but many years before, in the classrooms and corridors of BSS Gindiri, where even then, your leadership qualities were unmistakable. Anyone who knew you in those early days could see it: a young man destined to lead, guided by integrity, purpose, and a genuine concern for others. It is no surprise, therefore, that those same qualities have carried you through the years, from Gindiri to the national stage, where you now serve as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, a leader truly par excellence.
Many who look at our relationship point to the joint ticket we held in trust during the last gubernatorial election in Plateau State as its defining moment. I understand why they see it that way, it was, without doubt, a significant chapter. But for me, the true high point of our journey together has never been about that ticket or that season. It is the sustained support and magnanimity you have shown me, and indeed countless others, long before and long after that moment. It is the quiet consistency of your character, the way you extend yourself for the good of others without expectation of return, that I have come to treasure most.
You have taught me, and many others, that true leadership is not measured by the offices one holds, but by the lives one uplifts along the way. From Gindiri to the National Chairmanship of our great party, you have remained the same: humble, generous, and unwavering in your commitment to those around you.
On this your 58th birthday, I celebrate not just your achievements, but the man behind them. May God grant you many more years of good health, wisdom, and strength to continue leading with the excellence that has always defined you.
