The leadership and congregation of the 1st ECWA Church Ungwan Sunday, Kaduna have presented an Award of Excellence to Hon. Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, in recognition of his outstanding performance and unwavering commitment to community development initiatives.

The honour was bestowed on the Chairman for his visible contributions toward improving the welfare of communities, promoting peace, supporting youth empowerment, and enhancing social and infrastructural development across Kachia LGA.

Dr. Manzo Maigari was ably represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Yahaya Maigida, who received the award on his behalf. In his remarks, Hon. Yahaya Maigida expressed profound appreciation to the Church for acknowledging the Chairman’s efforts, noting that the recognition will further encourage the administration to continue delivering impactful governance to the people of Kachia.

The Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Council, Dr. Manzo Maigari, has extended heartfelt congratulations to General Christopher Musa on his official swearing-in and oath-taking as Nigeria’s new Honourable Minister of Defence.

Dr. Manzo Maigari described General Musa’s appointment as “a timely and well-deserved national assignment for a dedicated military statesman whose service record reflects courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the peace and stability of Nigeria.”

He expressed confidence that General Musa will bring renewed vigor, strategic insight, and strong leadership to the nation’s security sector, especially at a time when Nigeria seeks strengthened coordination and innovative approaches to addressing emerging security challenges.

The Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, Dr. Manzo Maigari, has extended his warmest congratulations to Engr. Nadungu Gagara on his redeployment from the Office of Economic and Political Affairs (OSGF) to the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy as a Permanent Secretary, by the approval of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Dr. Manzo Maigari described the redeployment as a recognition of Engr. Gagara’s outstanding service, professionalism, and commitment to national development. Rehabilitation of Buzai Box Culvert: Work Nears Completion:

Following the request made on 29th July, 2025 by community leaders for the rehabilitation of the Buzai Box Culvert—a vital link connecting Badoko, Kissam, Alili, Anfani, Yakubu, Azara, Bishini, and Nasarawa communities under Katari and Bishini Wards—the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, promptly mobilized contractors to site and work is currently in progress.

The project, which commenced last week, has already reached 60% completion and is expected to be delivered and ready for public use in the coming days.

In order to ensure strict adherence to quality and timely delivery, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Yahaya Maigida, yesterday led a delegation of community leaders on an inspection tour of the project site. The team urged the contractors to sustain the momentum and ensure the work is executed to the highest standards for the benefit of the communities.

The community leaders, in turn, commended the Executive Chairman Dr. Manzo Maigari for his swift response, proactive leadership, and continued commitment to infrastructural development and community welfare across Kachia LGA.

Dr. Manzo Maigari Congratulates Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu on His Victory in Chikun-Kajuru Federal Constituency By-Election.

17th August, 2025.

The Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, Dr. Manzo Maigari, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Fidelix J. Bagudu on his well-deserved and resounding victory in the just concluded by-election for the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency seat.

Hon. Bagudu polled 34,580 votes to defeat his closest rival, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 11,491 votes, with a convincing margin of 23,089 votes.

Dr. Maigari, who served as the Deputy Chairman of Hon. Bagudu’s Campaign Council in Kajuru LGA, described the victory as a true reflection of the people’s will and confidence in Hon. Bagudu’s leadership capacity.

According to Dr. Maigari: “Hon. Bagudu’s triumph at the polls is not only well-deserved, but also a testament to his integrity, humility, and commitment to the people. He is the best candidate for this mandate, and I am confident he will deliver purposeful representation for the good people of Chikun and Kajuru.”

He further charged the Member-elect to remain steadfast in serving the people with the fear of God, fairness, and humanity. “This victory is a call to service. I urge Hon. Bagudu to continue to uphold the principles of justice, equity, and accountability, ensuring that every constituent feels the positive impact of his representation.”

WE CONDEMN THE ASSAULT ON DR. MANZO MAIGARI BY THE POLICE.

Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, the deputy chairman of the campaign council of the chikun/kajuru Federal constituency by-election Kajuru LGA, has been brutally assaulted by the police at the Kajuru LGA INEC office. Dr. Manzo arrived at the result collation centre with the team that conducted the elections in Idon ward. The police at the gate asked, and he promptly identified himself, but the police pushed him & descended on him. He has been admitted to the hospital. We'll update you on the developments.

H.E, Governor, Senator Uba Sani in a rare demonstration of statesmanship and magnanimity. The first of it's kind, supported the Federal University of Applied Sciences Kachia with seed money, vehicles for the leadership, a bus and access roads. This is to enable the University to take off in September as planned. The University has no budgetary provision in the 2025 fiscal year and wouldn't take off in September as earlier planned. Despite being a Federal institution, Governor Uba Sani has stepped in so the expectations and hope of our people are not extinguished. He had earlier approved the land required and has facilitated huge projects from TETFUND for the University.

I call on the good people of Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria and friends of southern Kaduna to lend a hand of support to enable the University to run until budgetary provision is made in the next fiscal year.

We thank H.E president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani, the sons of the soil and our friends who worked tirelessly to bring the University into being.

It is with a heavy heart and profound sense of loss that I, Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, on behalf of the government and good people of Kachia LGA, extend our deepest condolences to the family of our dearly departed former President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, as well as to the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari was more than a leader; he was a symbol of integrity, discipline, and unwavering patriotism. His decades of service to Nigeria — from his time in the military to his tenure as President — embodied courage, selflessness, and a steadfast commitment to the unity and progress of our great nation.

A statesman of conviction, President Buhari championed accountability, fought corruption with determination, and stood firmly for Nigeria’s sovereignty. He empowered women, fostered peace, and gave voice to the voiceless in national discourse. To millions, he was not just a President, but a father-figure who led with calm resolve and deep moral clarity.

As we mourn this monumental loss, we take solace in the enduring legacy he leaves behind — one of sacrifice, resilience, and deep devotion to the Nigerian cause.

Kachia Council Chairman Pays Courtesy Visit to Sub-Sector 5 Commander, Operations Fansan Yamma, NASA Kachia

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and recognize the invaluable contributions of security operatives, the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, paid a courtesy visit on Thursday 12th June 2025 to the Commander of Sub-Sector 5, Operations Fansan Yamma, Captain M. M. Adamu, at NASA Kachia.

The visit was a gesture of appreciation for the Nigerian Military’s steadfast commitment to ensuring peace and stability in Kachia LGA and its environs. It also provided an opportunity to deliberate on pressing security challenges, particularly the recent cases of kidnapping that have affected residents of the area.

Operations Fansan Yamma Sub-Sector 5 has played a vital role in countering banditry and addressing various security threats within Kachia and surrounding communities. Dr. Manzo Maigari emphasized that the visit was not only a mark of goodwill but also a reaffirmation of the shared commitment between the Military, Police, DSS, and the local government to maintain peace through sustained collaboration.

Democracy Day: Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari Brings Joy to Unguwan Arewa Community.

As part of the 2025 Democracy Day celebrations, and in solidarity with the Governor's developmental drive, the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government, Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, has brought joy and relief to the people of Unguwan Arewa in Gumel Ward.

In a remarkable gesture of community service and leadership, Dr. Manzo Maigari spearheaded the rehabilitation of a long-abandoned solar-powered motorized borehole, which had been out of service for over 10 years. This vital water facility, once forgotten, has now been fully restored to serve the community, alleviating the daily struggles residents faced in accessing clean and safe water.

The project not only symbolizes a renewed hope for the people of Unguwan Arewa but also stands as a testament to the Chairman's commitment to grassroots development and people-centered governance.

Community members expressed heartfelt gratitude, describing the project as a “life-saving intervention” and a perfect way to celebrate Democracy Day—with true dividends of democracy reaching the people directly.
