As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my warmest greetings to the good people of Kaduna State and the entire Muslim Ummah across the world.

Eid-el-Kabir reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion, patience, and service to humanity. These timeless values continue to guide our collective efforts as we work towards building a peaceful, secure, and united Kaduna State where every citizen can live with dignity, hope, and opportunity.

Under the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Kaduna State has continued to witness deliberate efforts aimed at promoting peace, inclusion, and social cohesion across communities. The The Governor of Kaduna State ‘s approach to governance has consistently prioritised dialogue, community engagement, and collaboration with traditional rulers, religious leaders, women, and youth groups as important partners in sustaining peace and stability across the state.

His Excellency has also demonstrated strong commitment towards addressing the root causes of insecurity through policies focused on rural development, social inclusion, education, economic empowerment, and support for vulnerable communities. Through sustained investments in peacebuilding initiatives and strengthened collaboration with security agencies, communities across Kaduna State are gradually regaining confidence, rebuilding trust, and embracing peaceful coexistence.

The Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs remains committed to supporting this vision through improved coordination with security agencies, community-based early warning and early response mechanisms, stakeholder engagements, conflict prevention initiatives, and public sensitisation efforts aimed at safeguarding lives and property.

We sincerely appreciate the resilience, cooperation, and patriotism of our citizens, especially community volunteers, security personnel, faith leaders, youth, and women groups who continue to make sacrifices daily in support of peace and security within their communities.

To families and communities that have experienced painful moments due to insecurity, we want you to know that government remains fully committed to restoring peace, strengthening public safety, and ensuring that every citizen feels protected and valued.

As we celebrate this sacred occasion, let us continue to pray for Kaduna State and Nigeria, show kindness to one another, support lawful authorities, and promote unity beyond ethnic, religious, and political differences.

Together, through shared responsibility, trust, and compassion, we can continue building a Kaduna State defined by peace, resilience, progress, and hope for future generations.

May this Eid bring peace to our homes, healing to our communities, and renewed blessings to every family.

This collaborative platform reflects a people-centered approach that prioritizes the safety, livelihoods, and well-being of citizens.

In his remarks, the Governor emphasized the importance of sustained partnership between Kaduna State and the Nigerian Army. As a gateway state with diverse populations and strategic significance, Kaduna continues to face complex security challenges that impact both communities and economic growth. However, ongoing joint efforts—particularly the expanded operations of Operation Fansan Yamma are already yielding tangible results, restoring hope and stability across affected areas.

It reflects a broader commitment to not only securing lives today but also safeguarding the environment for future generations.

The Kaduna State Government remains steadfast in its commitment to providing the necessary support and enabling environment for security agencies to operate effectively.

Ultimately, the success of initiatives like the Combat Arms Training Week lies in their ability to translate strategy into real impact—safer communities, restored confidence, and a future where citizens can live, work, and thrive without fear.
