IT'S NOT DO OR DIE!

Election held across local government areas of Kaduna State yesterday September 4. Sabon Gari LG also participated in the process. After the collation of results from the exercise, Mallam Abubakar Muhammad Sadiq, Returning Officer, INEC declared Engr. Muhammad Usman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the chairmanship election.

I want to use this medium to congratulate Engr. Usman on his victory. In every election, there will always be a winner. I therefore charge all contestants to demonstrate a high level of sportsmanship. It's a victory for all as the exercise was highly peaceful and rancour free. Elections are not a do or die affair.

Meanwhile, I also want to advise Engr. Usman who was returned elected to be magnanimous in victory. He should see this as a call to do more for people and community. And above all, he should take bold steps in ensuring unity and harmony among all political stakeholders in the local government in order to move forward.

I celebrate our people for turning out massively yesterday to cast their votes peacefully and orderly.

I thank all my mentors, advisors, supporters and the entire for their commitment and enthusiasm. We've tested the waters. It's a mark of strength to know when to retreat. Our push for good governance continues. Sabon Gari LG deserves the best. We must work together to achieve a greater Sabon Gari.

Due to the poor representation by Cabals, our community have suffered setbacks ranging from unemployment, insecurity, poor medical and education facilities amongst others by the current DEMOCRACY of CABALS engineered by some people and for some people.

It is therefore, our responsibility and collective effort to ring the bell, "SABON GARI FOR ALL". as inclusion of all in governance can never be compromised.
