Kaduna projects

Ongoing construction of Mass Housing for the Less Privileged at Millennium City, Kaduna under the Qatar Sanabil Project. The project, an initiative of Qatar Charity, is progressing steadily.

100 houses will be constructed in the first phase of the Mass Housing Project. There will also be clinics, shops, poultry farms, and farmlands for rainy season and irrigation farming.

The flagship project under the Qatar Sanabil Project however is the Kaduna Economic City.

When completed, the Economic City will provide world class infrastructure and make Kaduna a reference point in modern and affordable accommodation, adequate security and conducive atmosphere for business activities.

REMARKS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, THE GOVERNOR OF KADUNA STATE, SENATOR UBA SANI, AT THE MEETING WITH THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF, MAJOR GENERAL CG MUSA, DURING HIS COURTESY VISIT TO SIR KASHIM IBRAHIM HOUSE ON 29TH SEPTEMBER 2023

1. On behalf of the Government and People of Kaduna State, I am delighted to welcome you back home on this momentous occasion. Let me begin by congratulating you on attaining the rank of a Four-Star General in the Nigerian Army. We are excited at this well-deserved honour. We shall continue to pray for God’s guidance and outstanding success in every step of your career.

2. Your outstanding career is a source of pride and inspiration to us. You have progressed admirably from a junior officer to your appointment as Commandant, Nigerian Army Depot Zaria, then Theater Commander Operation Hadin Kai in the North-East, and as Infantry Corps Commander in Jaji, from where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed you as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS).

3. From our checks, you are one of the most successful Theater Commanders. You left an indelible mark in that arena. You led with brilliance, energy, devotion and patriotism. It is no wonder you are still a reference point in military leadership. During your tour of duty in the North East, you adopted the kinetic and non-kinetic approaches and recorded huge successes. On the kinetic side, our military decimated the terrorists in key flash points in Borno and the Lake Chad region. On the non-kinetic side, your understanding of total warfare opened another vista, with the massive surrender of terrorists earlier conscripted into the ranks of insurgents, running into thousands. This is a clear display of your sublime understanding of holistic operations.

4. We also wish to appreciate your efforts in the deployment of troops of the 404 Special Forces Brigade to Kaduna State last year, after the attack on the Kaduna-bound train. The Special Forces greatly complemented Operation Whirl Punch under the leadership

KADIRS MANAGEMENT TEAM AT BUDGET AND PLANNING COMMISSION FOR 2024-2026 BUDGET DEFENCE!!!

As the budget presentation at the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission took place successfully by various Ministries, Departments and agencies.

The KADIRS Acting Executive Chairman Mr. Jerry Adams was represented at the budget defense proposal presentation by the Management Team of the Service.

The Board Secretary and Legal Adviser of the Service, Bar. Aysha Ahmad Mohammad presented the Service's budget proposal to the 2024-2026 Expenditure Committee headed by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Planning and Budget Commission Hon. Mukhtar Ahmed Monrovia and His members.

However, the KADIRS budget proposal presentation of the 2024-2026 went on smoothly with full interaction between the Service's team and the budget committee.

Those in attendance at the Budget defense session are the Executive Director Standard and Compliance Alh. Ali Garba Gora , the Director MDAs Revenue Alh. Ado Usman Garba, The Director Area Revenue Coordination Mr. Ishaku Mazangona, The Director Debt Management Mr. Christopher Wayo, The Director Tax Audit Alh. Abdulkadir Musa, and the Head of Statistics Mr. Emmanuel Gari.

Let project our children

THE KADUNA ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL JUDGEMENT IS A CLEAR AFFIRMATION OF THE POPULAR MANDATE GIVEN TO ME BY THE PEOPLE OF KADUNA STATE

I am extremely delighted and humbled by the ruling of the Election Petition Tribunal affirming my victory in the 2023 Kaduna State Governorship Elections. The judgement is an unequivocal affirmation of the popular mandate graciously given to me by the good people of Kaduna State. I commend the Tribunal for their thoroughness and lucidity. They have enriched our jurisprudence and practice of electoral democracy.

I also commend my dear brother, Hon. Isah Ashiru Kudan for approaching the Tribunal to ventilate his grievances. This is a clear demonstration of his belief in the principles of democracy and the imperative of civility in the conduct of political actors.

I call on Hon. Isah Ashiru and members of the opposition parties in Kaduna State to join hands with us as we strive to move our dear state to a higher level. We are all stakeholders in PROJECT KADUNA. It is not about personal glory. Our people want all hands to be on deck to address the myriad challenges confronting the state. If political actors are united, a clear signal will be sent to our people that the quest for peace, security, progress and development of our state are the driving forces of our participation in politics.

I call on our party faithful to moderate their celebration of this victory. They must individually and collectively extend an olive branch to our brothers and sisters in other political parties. Instead of celebrating, we should bow down in prayers to the Almighty God for His continued guidance and protection. Let us focus on the tasks ahead.
