FLYING OFFICER ID GANIYU

In 2014, Fg Offr ID Ganiyu, pictured here, was serving as an Airman. For clarity, an Airman is the Air Force equivalent of a soldier in the Army or a rating in the Navy. He was an other rank.

At the time, he was one of the instructors at the Ground Training Group in Kaduna, where cadets were trained at the NAF Base.

He was known to be quiet, well turned-out, and almost introverted, at least from afar. He did not shout like most drill instructors, but he was regarded as "malicious." The sight of him could invoke apprehension. The helmet was one of his favourite pieces of equipment. Cadets will understand.

He trained the cadets thoroughly and left a lasting impression.

Years later, Ganiyu has now been commissioned as an officer. Indeed, what God cannot do does not exist.

His journey from airman to officer is proof that being an officer is a privilege, an opportunity to be grateful for and not to use to oppress others. Yesterday an airman, today an officer.

Being an instructor is also a privilege, not an opportunity to break one's spinal cord.

Congratulations to Flying Officer ID Ganiyu. Welcome to the officers' corps. The uniform looks good on him. May he become the officer he always wanted others to be when he was an airman.

Best wishes to him.

By Squadron Leader Rabiu( RTD).

Nigerian Army to acquire 35 brand new M1A2 Abrams, Leopard 2A7+, T-90MS, K2 Black Panther and T-14 Armata Tanks, some of the most powerful and advanced military tanks on earth to crush terrorists, destroy bandits and end insecurity in Nigeria forever.

This will also make Nigeria the first country in Africa to have Leopard 2A7+, T-90MS, K2 Black Panther and Armata Tanks.

A kind advice to terrorists, and bandits , lay down your arms and surrender now, before it is too late!
