Innovation begins with people who dare to solve problems.

At the KASEDA International MSME Day Celebration 2026, our Emerging Cohorts proudly showcased their ideas, prototypes, and growing ventures… turning challenges into opportunities through creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.

At DSIA, we believe that innovation is not just about creating businesses; it’s about empowering young people to identify real societal problems, develop sustainable solutions, and create lasting impact in their communities.

From confident elevator pitches to inspiring conversations with visitors, our scholars demonstrated what happens when passion meets purpose. Every prototype displayed and every story shared reflected months of learning, resilience, and innovation.

We’re proud of every scholar who represented DSIA and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate entrepreneurship, creativity, and the future of youth-led innovation in Katsina.

The journey is just beginning, and we’re excited to see these ideas continue to grow into impactful ventures.

Exposure creates possibilities.

Scholars from all three cohorts of the Dikko Social Innovation Academy (DSIA) joined entrepreneurs, business leaders, and stakeholders at the State-wide MSME Sensitization and Collaboration Programme hosted by KASEDA in collaboration with NAFDAC and SON.

Through technical sessions, panel discussions, and interactive clinics, participants gained practical insights into regulatory compliance, product certification, quality standards, and the requirements for building sustainable enterprises.

Opportunities like these strengthen our commitment to developing young innovators who are not only passionate about solving problems but are also equipped to navigate the realities of entrepreneurship and enterprise growth.

Great ideas change communities. Sustainable businesses sustain those ideas.

As part of the learning journey at the Dikko Social Innovation Academy (DSIA), scholars engaged in a practical pricing session designed to help them understand the true cost of doing business.

By examining hidden expenses, profit margins, and value creation, many discovered that they had been underpricing their products and services.

At DSIA, we believe innovation is not only about solving problems, it’s about building solutions that can thrive, grow, and create impact for years to come.

Some of the most important learning happens in small circles—around laptops, notebooks, questions, and honest conversations.

Here, scholars support one another, challenge one another, and grow together.

Because innovation thrives where collaboration and curiosity meet.

Today at the Academy, we had the honor of welcoming one of Nigeria’s finest minds, Dr. Jelani Aliyu.

As always, our greatest supporter, Dr. Shehu, showed up with yet another remarkable guest, someone whose story continues to inspire young people across the nation.

Dr. Jelani Aliyu is not just a global automobile designer; he is proof that dreams born in Northern Nigeria can reach the world stage.

One thing he shared stayed with us:
Whenever he visits Katsina, he always sees something that makes him proud.

Today, we are proud that our Academy could be one of those moments.
A place where young people are learning, growing, and daring to believe in their potential.

Thank you, Dr. Jelani Aliyu, for your presence, your words, and your example.
You remind our scholars that greatness is possible, and that their future is worth building🗣️

Learning skills for life, one session at a time.

Once every week, our Second Cohort Scholars at the Emerging Stage gather for ICT sessions where they learn how to confidently use a computer, navigate essential tools, and build digital skills that support their everyday lives and the projects they are working on.

From understanding the basics of computer navigation to exploring software like PowerPoint and other useful programs, each session opens new doors and builds confidence for the future.

These are not just computer lessons, they are life skills that prepare them to communicate, create, and thrive in today’s world💻✨
