All Progressives Congress Nasarawa State

The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nasarawa State, Mr. Phillips Shekwo received Hon. Raphael Dogara Saaka who formally indicated interest in joining the All Progressives Congress.

Hon. Saaka who was a two term member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly under PDP remarked that he is joining the party because of the track record of the party under former Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura that is now being continued by Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule in Nasarawa State.

Hon. Saaka was accompanied by the APC Chairman of Kokona Local Government Area and his ward Chairman.

On his part, the APC State Chairman louded the courage and foresight Hon. Saaka to join the he party and contribute to the development of Nasarawa State. He assured that a special date will be announced to officially welcome Hon. Saaka and other decampees to the party.

The State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasarawa State led by the State Chairman, Mr. Phillips Tatari Shekwo earlier today played host to SS I students of the Command Science Secondary School Lafia who were on a courtesy visit to the party.

The manifesto of the governing party and it's structure was explained to the visiting students while the asked various questions.

Members of Progressives Governor's Forum, including His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule earlier today met with President Muhammadu Buhari at his Daura residence

SALLAH FELICITATION

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasarawa State heartily felicitate with the Muslim Community in the state and beyond on the occasion marking Eid-El-Kabir.

The Feast of Sacrifice in honour of Prophet Ibrahim who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah's Command inspires us to take to heart the virtues of sacrifice and obedience which are very significant in our daily lives and mutual cooperation and existence.

The party enjoins the Muslim Community in Nasarawa State and indeed all Nigerians to make sacrifices for one another and be obedient to constituted authorities, especially to the APC led government of Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule who is making frantic efforts to ensure adequate protection of lives and property and improvement in the living conditions of the people in the state.

The party wishes all Muslims a happy and peaceful celebration and pray that the blessings of the Almighty Allah on this day will rest on them.

4. Hon John D. W. Mamman - Special Adviser Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
