WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💚
Have you ever wondered how many people are silently struggling while going about their normal daily lives?
Someone can go to work, attend lectures, take care of their children, and laugh with friends while struggling emotionally 😒
Sometimes, we don't notice because we have learnt to associate being okay with looking okay.
Not every struggle is visible, and not everyone who needs support knows how to ask for it.
As we mark World Mental Health Day, let's learn to listen without judging, check on the people around us, and take our own emotional well-being seriously. Let's not be too quick to dismiss someone's feelings or tell them to simply get over it.
And remember, while support from family and friends matters, seeking help from a qualified mental health professional is also important, especially when emotional difficulties persist or begin to affect daily life. You don't have to wait until things become overwhelming before asking for help.
Let's create spaces where people feel safe enough to say, "I'm not okay," without being ashamed.
