Is leadership defined by position, or by the value created through action, character, and decision-making?

This question shaped an engaging Fireside Chat session with Mr. Bolaji Balogun, CEO of Chapel Hill Denham, as he shared practical insights on leadership, resilience, economic impact, and personal growth with our Fellows.

Drawing from his experience across business and finance, Mr. Balogun challenged the Fellows to think beyond titles and embrace leadership as the ability to create better systems, build enabling environments, and inspire people through consistency and purpose.

The conversation also explored the importance of staying clear-minded in challenging moments, identifying opportunities in uncertainty, and remaining committed to continuous learning and self-development.

More importantly, the session reminded the Fellows that exceptional leadership is reflected not just in authority, but in the quality of decisions made, the problems solved, and the impact created.
