I bring you greetings from the entire Restoration Team.

Saturday’s local government elections in Lagos state and in Isolo LCDA in particular, yet again brought to the fore the desperation of the ruling party the APC to hold on to power by all means, silencing opposition, subverting the will of the people while ensuring poverty is used as a tool of perpetual domination.

The election is yet another r**e on our democracy, flagrant disregard for the rule of law guiding electoral processes and ultimately telling the people that their vote does not count and their voice does not matter.

What we witnessed is a charade cloaked with guise with LASIEC portraying it as a properly conducted election. Far from it!

We condemn in the strongest terms all the anomalies perpetrated by the ruling APC during the conduct of the election.

We had situations where the voters register was not used for accreditation, accreditation was just not done and people were allowed to vote freely, in other instances people present voters card that do not belong to them and in some cases not even registered in a particular polling unit yet they are allowed to vote.

The whole process was marred by fraudulent activities orchestrated and executed by the machinations of the ruling APC with the enabling and cooperation of LASIEC and its officials both regular and adhoc.

We must strengthen our democracy especially at the local level where governance is closest to the grassroot by allowing the process of electing leaders at the local level to be free, fair and credible.

I want to at this point thank all those who was a part of the struggle to Restore Isolo LCDA, you played your part well and I am most grateful.

Special mention must be made of the following *Chief Sunday Olaifa ( PDP Vice Chairman Lagos West Senatorial District), Elder lateef olowora, Chief Saheed Lawal ( Deputy Chairman Oshodi Isolo LG), Mr Fajemigbesi (Secretary PDP Oshodi Isolo LG), Evang. Jumoke Akinola, Elder Fatai Agbaje, Alhaji obalola, Hon. Lateef Erinfolami, Mrs Arike Hassan , Mrs Samiat Agbabiaka, Chief Hammed Erinfolami, Alhaji Afariogun, Hon. Muiyideen Ajanaku ( Lcda returning officer) Hon. Dipo Otegbayo ( Lcda collation officer) , Mr Henry Ayodele Balogun.*

I will be failing if I do not appreciate the Restoration Team and DG Restoration Team you guys are the best, my teeming followers cm supporters and the good people of Isolo LCDA who believed in the Restoration dream and worked for it to come to fruition. Collectively, we have fought a good fight, history will never forget us and posterity will be kind to us.

I thank all councillorship candidates and the Vice Chairmanship Candidate in Isolo Lcda for their support, cooperation and dedication may the Good Lord reward us all in due time.

I appreciate my darling wife and family their support got me going till the last minute, God bless you all.

Finally i give all thanks to God Almighty who stood by us and saw us through the process.
