Holly's POV con.....
"how can it be him?"I said to myself
"Ehemmm"Lucy cough jolting me back to reality
she must have been saying something and am about embarrassing myself
"yes Lucy"I said looking at her
"we were talking about business"she said trying to act all cool,but I knew better
Am gonna receive a lot of scolding after now
"Yeah...Mr Spark,we're concerned that with your technologies and our full access by the government to gather any information, we've been forced to partner with you"I said looking at him
"I don't understand,you'll have to elucidate"he said with that his non smiling attitude
"My boss Lucy owner of the company will like to partner with your intelligence sir..... according to what we've calculated we could make a great change and impact to the world if we work together"I said
"Is that supposed to impress me?"he said looking at his assistant,she came close and he whispered something to her ear
"Umm....Mr spark would like to be given some time to think about it"she said
"There's nothing to think about,the government may come here any moment and decide to close down this building,do you know how many people could lose their job???"I really wanted to scream that to him but I couldn't,I've already done a bad job the least I could do is be patient
Oh god
I need a drink
"when do we get a reply?"Lucy ask unusually calm
"As soon as possible"his assistant said and they left
"Clear out"Lucy said to the board members
"well if I were you I'd fire that assistant of yours"one of them said as he was exiting
"Lucy am so sorry"I apologized
"Yeah...you should be ,cause if we don't get the partner deal with him,you can kiss your job good bye..as for me there's far too many way for me to survive,lack of partnership can't pull me down"she said and walked out
I sit on one of the chairs and rest my head on the table
"your gonna be alright sis"I hear a voice and look up to see my twin brother buddy
"Buddy...what are you doing here,you're supposed to be dead"I said in tears
"Am not buddy,am your subconsciousness"he said
"My subconsciousness...but you look so real,how can I see you"I said
"All that doesn't matter,what matters is that you don't give up on this fight...you have to stand up and give these people hope,you know what will happen to them if this company goes down"he said
I wipe my eyes
"yeah I do"
"Now do you believe you came all the way from Italy for nothing?"he ask
"No...I came to rewrite the story of our family"I said in tears
"you didn't think the fight will be easy did you?"he ask
"I miss you buddy"I said to him but he was gone
"Are you okay?"Jeremy ask me
"Yeah,I am"I reply
"Lucy wants you to check out something for her before going home"he said and went out
I walk to Lucy's office
"Look,am going home right now,I want you to check my mails frequently in case Mr spark or the government board has made any new arrangements"she said hurriedly and left
*Leia's POV*
It's been really boring for me being at home today but what do I care,it's my norm
Am waiting for my mom to come back home,today Is a big day for me..mom said if I turned 20 I may get liberty like leaving this hell room and get at least one friend I could physically communicate with, and guess what
Today is that special day
The door bell ring and I rush downstairs
"Mom"I scream
"Don't touch me sweetie"she said and wash her hands
"I'll go change and get back to you"she said and went upstairs.

"so mom..how was work today?"I ask and she frowned her face
She dropped her fork on the table
Usually my birthday ends with the both of us screaming at each other
Birthdays are the only time of the year I get to eat cake,ice cream, chocolates and others junk food
It's the best time of the year and I always look forward to it
"Are you gonna tell me what's bothering you?"I ask peering into her eyes
If I know my mom,she's compassionate and I think something bad is about to happen to other people,that's the only thing that can worry my mom aside from my health
"Mom.. they'll be fine"I said

Now why isn't that surprising
"Look,you don't understand"she said getting up
yeah...party over
Another yet disastrous party.
I watch as she walk upstairs
"Happy birthday Leia"I say to myself and colaspe on my bed.
*Holly's POV*

"What's so special about him?"I ask myself as I read Williams Spark's biography
Kiddo is smart
He holds three PhDs

My phone ring and I pick up
"Hi"I hear a familiar voice
"Hi"I reply
"Oh.. right,it's me Jeremy"he introduced and I gasp surprised
"The hell you doing with my number?"I ask
"Duhh...am the CIT guy remember,I hold all your records in the computer file"he explained
"So...um the normal 'hello Holly can I get your number' couldn't work?"I ask him
"Nah...that's kinda old fashioned"he say
"why'd you call?"I ask
"I just wanted to check on you,see if you're doing fine"he said
"Am fine"I reply
"No,you're not..you look a mess"he said
"And how would you know that?"I ask him
"Cause am looking at you right now"he said and I chuckled
"No way,are you some kind of magician or a comedian?"I ask him
"Look outside your window"he said and I turn and look down
"you were serious"I said and he smile

"Hey.... wanna get a drink or two tonight?"he ask
Is he asking me out on a date
I've never been asked out on a date before
"Am not sure"I reply
"Oh....no..no,it's okay if you don't wanna get a drink, remember it's just a drink and nothing more"he said
"Jeremy you're nice and all but I don't wanna go out on a date with you"I said and cut the call
I sigh and toss the pillow on the wall

My phone beep and I look at the name
Holly π¬ yeah, happy birthday
Leia π¬ I wish
Holly π¬ what do you mean by you wish,today is your special day
Leia π¬ you mean was my special day,my mom ditched me
Holly π¬am sorry about that,what happened

Holly π¬ am sorry,
Leia π¬ am also sorry about your work,but I think you shouldn't push a friend away from you,I'd do anything to have a friend right now....he just wants to go out,I think maybe it's because of work
Holly π¬ I think so too,and your mom?you don't have to listen to her all the time, sometimes action tells the story,look up to yourself and do what you do best,I guess she's trying to protect you....she can only guide you,not choose a path for you.

*Leia's POV*
Holly is right,I don't need my mom to tell me what to do anymore,am 20 now and I can take care of myself
I don't want to live in the fear that I'll never explore the world till I die
My worst fear isn't my disease
My worst fear is not accomplishing what am supposed to be
To go out of the world and meet people
I look around and the whole house was empty
Now why was I not surprised
It's a regular
I step out of the house for the first time in my life
The air was smooth ..the wind blew my hair up
I felt happy
I close the door and walk out
Teenagers were playing out
what does it take to give a smile
Highschool kids were off to school
I take every step like my life depended on it
And yeah
It did.
I look at a massive road with many cars moving
I turn and see someone crossing
I smile to myself and follow
The next thing I could remember was being in a car with someone yelling at me
"Are you new to California?"he yell
I regain conciousness and look
"Am in a car"I whispered
I look at the guy and remember his question
"I actually grew up in California"I said looking around the car and touching every part I could lay my hand on
He looks at me weirdly but I don't care
Am not sure I can get this opportunity to again
"you could have gotten yourself killed on the road"he said
"Killed?"I ask laughing
"Am not afraid of death, infact I've been death's best friend since the day I was born"I said laughing
He looks at me like am insane
"Thanks for the save..I'll take my leave now"I said coming down but he held me
"what are you doing?"I ask as he push me to the back of the car and wind up the glass
"Taking you back to the hospital where you escaped from"he said and started the engine
"What???you think am mentally sick?"what the hell is wrong with you..am fine!!!"I yell in tears
"That's what they always say"he said and continued driving the car.
*Holly's POV*
He looks strained as he walk in
"I'll make this quick,I got something to take care of...am not interested in this company's partnership"
The files in my hand drop down as I fold my fists in anger
How dare he,what does he think he is huh
"you'll have to find someone else"he said and walk out
I walk to Lucy's office
"Am guessing by that look on your face that we're going down"she said
"I tried"I said breaking down in tears
"I know"she said smiling at me
I walk out to Jeremy who hasn't been his usual self today
"Am sorry about yesterday"I said
"yesterday was cool"he said typing on his computer
"No..it wasn't I messed up and you know,"
"I said it's cool,you're not the first girl that has turned me down before"
"Jeremy,you use an app to find a date,it won't hurt more that a real actual date that turned you down"I said holding his very soft hands
"what are you saying?he said removing his eyes from the system
"A friend told me that she'd do anything to have a friend and I have the opportunity to,I don't think it's nice pushing you away"I said
"yeah..I don't think that's a good idea either"he said
"Am saying am gonna go catch a movie with you tonight"I said
"you just lost your job.. shouldn't you be at least sober for tonight?"he ask
"No, because things happen for a reason and it's the past,I'll find a better job"I said and kiss him on the cheek.
