Happy Independence Day Nigeria.

66 years and counting. Today we celebrate a nation that continues to rise, to innovate, and to inspire despite it all. Lagos State remains committed to building a future that every Nigerian can be proud of, one innovation at a time.

Happy 66th Independence Day. Here is to Nigeria.

Lagos State Lagos Innovates

And that is a wrap on GITEX Nigeria 2026.

What a two days it was. From the Lagos Pavilion to the Startup Hall, the roundtables, the dinner, and every moment in between, Lagos State showed up and delivered. The conversations were real, the energy was unmatched, and the impact will be felt long after the lights went out at Landmark Centre.

Thank you to everyone who was part of it. The founders, the investors, the policymakers, and everyone who believed in what Lagos is building. See you at the next one.

A few weeks ago, Lagos State walked into GITEX Nigeria 2026 with a clear message and two days to deliver it. What unfolded was bigger than any of us could have scripted. Startups pitching to investors who actually leaned in. Conversations on stages that challenged the room. A pavilion that represented the full force of what Lagos is building.

This documentary is our attempt to capture all of it. The energy, the people, the moments that made GITEX Nigeria 2026 in Lagos something worth remembering.

Watch it. Share it. This is Lagos telling its own story.

Throwing it back to Hon. Olatunbosun Alake, Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Lagos State, at GITEX Nigeria 2026. From the roundtable to the pavilion floor, every moment was a demonstration of what deliberate leadership looks like. Lagos is not just talking about becoming Africa’s technology hub. It is doing the work.

30/09/2026

Throwing it back to the GITEX Nigeria 2026 dinner. Innovators, leaders, and changemakers all in one room. An evening of good conversation, sharp ideas, and the kind of connections that tend to matter long after the event is over.

30/09/2026

Throwing it back to the Startup Hall at GITEX Nigeria 2026. Founders solving real problems, building real products, and showing the world what is coming out of Lagos. The booths were packed, the conversations were serious, and the energy was exactly what this city deserves on a global stage.

30/09/2026

Throwing it back to Day 2 of GITEX Nigeria 2026 and Lagos did not slow down for a second.

The Startup Festival at Landmark Centre brought a different kind of energy. Founders on the floor, investors in the room, and ideas that refused to stay small. A fitting close to two days that Lagos will not forget.

30/09/2026

Throwing it back to Day 1 of GITEX Nigeria 2026 in Lagos. The Lagos Pavilion was alive with conversations, connections, and innovations from some of the boldest minds on the continent.

From the Tech Expo floor to the Future Economy Conference, Lagos came ready and it showed.
