On Friday 27th February 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming students and representatives from Mother of Perpetual Help School, Ojo–Alaba, Lagos, to the National Council for Arts and Culture Lagos Creative Hub Craftshop.

The visit was a truly inspiring moment as the students explored the rich display of Nigerian creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage showcased in the craftshop. From beautifully handcrafted artworks to culturally symbolic pieces, the experience offered them a deeper appreciation of the value of art in preserving our identity and telling our stories.

We commend the school for encouraging experiential learning and for taking deliberate steps to expose young minds to the beauty and significance of Nigerian arts and culture. Moments like this help nurture creativity, cultural pride, and a new generation of art enthusiasts.

The National Council for Arts and Culture remains committed to promoting and preserving Nigeria’s diverse cultural expressions while creating spaces where creativity can be appreciated and celebrated.

Thank you Mother of Perpetual Help School for visiting and sharing in this cultural experience with us.
