Elizabeth sighed at the duo before dropping the pink lunch bag on the table and crossing her hands.

"Are you both done?" She asked staring at the white board.

"Yes" they both replied in sync, ah they made Elizabeth jealous sometimes, if only she had a brother or a sister.

"Well I did talk to teacher this morning and he replied me instead of Riley"

" And?" They both asked waiting for her to continue.

"And, Kelvin you have class to attend with teacher Nicholas, leave now else you'd be penalized" Elizabeth spoke to Kelvin who rubbed his nose before realizing he was older than both girls.

"See you reminding me to go to class, I know you secretly have feelings for me"

"go" Kelvin cleared his throat before standing up straight.

"Well good bye" he said to both girls before moving towards the door while girls stared at him with hearts literally floating out of their eyes.

Meanwhile the girl he is interested in opened the pink box to see what the man she has her heart for got for her.

"What's in the box?" Asked Lilly also trying to peek into it to see.

"A pink plate"

"Um, I know, I mean what's in the plate" Lilly ruffled Elizabeth's hair while Elizabeth stuck out her tongue to her best friend before bringing out the plate to open it.

Inside the box was a breakfast burrito, some chocolates in a corner, some rice with fresh veggies and chips and dips. Literally four things in a plate which had divisions.

Elizabeth's smile dimmed for a sec before it came back again.

" All my favourite things"

"That's so cute, my mom doesn't even know what I like"

Elizabeth smiled but this time the smile wasn't so genuine, she never told him about what she loved eating, did he ask around?

It could only be that, he asked around. Her mind settled before she turned to share her lunch with Lilly like she always does, some boys stared at Elizabeth longer than usual due to her unusual look this morning.

Time seemed to pass slowly for Elizabeth as she couldn't get any chance to chat with her teacher. Walking slowly towards the PE class Lilly stared at her friend for a second before shaking her head.

"You look in love" Lilly spoke like a true genius.

ELIZABETH POINT OF VIEW:
But why? I couldn't even last a day without getting noticed.

I placed my hand in my mouth to bite my nails, I have never done such before but right now I didn't understand myself, what do I say to her, how do I start, she is my best friend, she'd know eventually...but not now.

"I might actually be interested in your brother" I joked while looking at anywhere else but her face. If only I had known, I wouldn't have said those words.

"So cute, you are lying" Lilly said straight about to interrog*ted me when she suddenly turned to beam in a direction as we walked into the class.

I looked at the person she was staring at only to feel my heart skip a beat. My heand reached out for my chest like I was about to squeeze my heart, only if I could reach it.

"Good day class, I'd be your PE subtitute teacher for today" it was now I knew I'd probably be dead without this man in my life, he literally controls my whole system.

"Lilly and Elizabeth, you are late" his voice so velvety I could fall to my knees to hear him speak to me everyday.

"Ohhhh, you could say that again" Lilly spoke but I couldn't, my voice was stuck, I was happy...very happy to see him.

"You'd be punished, come over here both of you"

"I know I'm about to be punished but I feel so excited" Lilly whisper yelled before walking towards teacher Nicholas while I couldn't help but figget.

"Are you scared Elizabeth" the line he spoke was so in touch with the girl who was trying to take a quick video of him. That little statement would literally break the internet but no one knew that yet.

"No..no I'm fine" I stammered not noticing the leg set out for me. Before I could say another word, I was falling. F**k my fate of embarrassment.

I felt a hand wrap around my waist and with just one pull I was in someone's hand. I looked over to meet him so close I stopped breathing for a second.

Heaven made a man as fine as this, well if I die, it was in good hands.

"Whose leg did she trip over?" His hand was still around my waist as he picked me up easily to make me seat on the teachers table.

So many girls did fake trips immediately to get his attention but he didn't even move his face towards them.

"If you don't pick out the culprit, I won't take your class anymore" everyone we're quick to point at Riley whose face flushed with embarrassment as people moved away from her quickly like a disease.

"Applogise rail way" teacher Nicholas spoke in a domineering manner making six girls faint at the spot.

"My name is Riley" I felt like laughing at her embarrassment, this was too embarrassing for her.

"Applogise" his voice was low this time.

"I'm sorry" Riley spoke as she burst into tears in front of so many people. Well this is quite embarrassing for all of us right now. A girl with blue glasses walked out to Pat Riley's shoulder.

Making everyone silent.

"Take five laps around the field"

🌷 CHAPTER THREE 🌷

Elizabeth's face became flushed with embarrassment as she rose from her seat to exit the bus that was already stationary, but still packed with students whose eyes were transfixed on her. Despite her attempts to leave silently, their unwavering gazes made it impossible for her to escape unnoticed. She couldn't help but feel self-conscious and wondered what they were all thinking of her.

Just as she was about to leave she felt her bag got heavy all of a sudden, looking at the rope which was tied to a cute lunch bag her head spun with absolute delight.

As the atmosphere was charged with excitement, all eyes were fixated on Nicholas, leaving no room for any other distraction. Unbeknownst to everyone, the man who was always mysterious and dressed entirely in black had entered the room, carrying a vibrant pink lunch box.

Elizabeth bit her lips to stop herself from giggling while carrying the bag and loosening the rope it was tied to. Picking it up casually, she walked out of the bus with her head up high feeling like an actual winner, ah yes. She won the heart of her teacher.

As she hurriedly made her way into the classroom, eager to see what was inside the box, she couldn't help but notice her phone incessantly buzzing with incoming messages. Despite the distraction, she ignored the gossipers. However, just as she was about to reach a random class to pull open the box, a girl who appeared to be of similar height emerged from nowhere and blocked her path. The unexpected encounter caught her off guard and left her momentarily stunned.

"Lilly" called out Elizabeth with joy even though her mind was still on the pink lunch box in her hand, Lilly seemed to notice something different and also looked down at the lunch box in Elizabeth's hand.

"When did you get that?" Lilly asked her best friend who had the little box behind her like it's a little secret she wasn't ready to share.

"My mom got it for me" lied Elizabeth, her hand fidget with the the box while avoiding eye contact with Lilly. Lilly didn't notice her behavior and waved it off.

"Come over here, I heard from the group something hot happened today" Lilly bounced while talking to Elizabeth like she wasn't the main character they were all gossiping about on the group at the moment.

"Okay"

"I couldn't get the person's name though, it was way high up and the messages were too much for me to find out. I had to tell Kelvin to check it out and get me the girl who was spoken to by teacher Nicholas, just so you know. Kelvin is still head over heels for you" Lilly kept rambling without a pause not noticing the girl who zoned out and just kept rubbing the lunch box with a blush on her face.

"Elizabeth we have the witch's class this morning, goodness she should just have a surgery for her nose already, it's so long and pointed. Maybe she's the head of witches that's why it would be a taboo for her to cut off her nose" Lilly laughed at her own joke then turned towards Elizabeth whose attention seemed to be far away.

"Beth" called out Lilly making the girl who zoned out come back to her senses.

"Yes?"

"Are you alright?" Asked Lilly staring deeply at Elizabeth whose eyes were wide open like a deer caught in head lights.

"Of course I am"

"Did you apply...makeup?"

"What are you talking about, it's all natural" Elizabeth moistened her lips out of habit while lying which made it obvious to Lilly that Elizabeth applied makeup.

"You just liked your lipstick... chemical girl, you licked chemical, cough it out"

"How do I do that, I have swallowed it" cried out Elizabeth not realizing she was being pranked.

"Wow, so you did apply lipstick too"

Elizabeth froze realizing she's been caught.

"Are you starting to really crush on my brother?"asked Lilly with a grin on her face while pulling Elizabeth towards the class quickly before the bell would ring signalling they were late.

"What, no!" Elizabeth declined immediately.

"Then who is it?" Asked Lilly.

Elizabeth raised her hand to move her white hair which was on her face to the back of her ear.

"No one yet...you know if there is someone I'd surely tell you" Elizabeth spoke with a smile on her face.

"Of course, what are best friends for? Decoration?" Lilly joked while they sat with all eyes staring at Elizabeth. "Why are they staring at you?"

"I'm the main character"

Lilly's facial expression conveyed her confusion, and Elizabeth was unable to provide further clarification before Kelvin stormed into the classroom and made his way towards her.

"You were the one who talked to teacher Nicholas this morning, please tell me you didn't fall for his charm and you are still in love with me" kelvins words were rushed and he didn't give Elizabeth ant Time to explain.

"Holy s**t" Lilly said from the side with her eyes wide and her mouth opened.



I've been too stressed because of my exams but it has been postponed for another two weeks so you guys g*t me all to yourself for this two weeks, idbe posting twice daily to apologise for the discomfort.

🍁 CHAPTER TWO🍁

The morning sun seemed brighter than usual as Elizabeth got up quickly to dress up. This time she took so much time to make herself more beautiful than usual.

Her delicate eyes stared back at her in the mirror as her lashes fluttered beautifully almost Making her look ethereal at the moment.

Moving to wear her perfectly ironed uniform, she wore them slowly to avoid any crease and wore her knee-length black socks then her black sandals before picking up her bag.

Her little head turned towards the mirror one more time before she rushed out of the room. She sighed knowing she couldn't tell the world about her handsome teacher else they would know they are both in a secret relationship and he could lose his job for that.

Elizabeth walked up to the table of greasy foods her mom had prepared for her and she couldn't help but take a step back after all she didn't want her stomach to make a dent on her cloth like it normally does, and she wanted it to look flat enough just so teacher Nicklaus would like her more.

"Good morning Mama" she said quickly to her mother who seemed to notice a change in her daughter's appearance.

"Good morning Beth, how was your night?" Her mom asked, staring at her daughter closely.

"It was good" replied Elizabeth without saying anything further she picked up a chocolate bar and walked out of the house quickly.

Before she could reach the door her mother stopped her with a flying table cloth.

"You aren't leaving my house without eating young lady-" before she could complete her sentence Elizabeth flew out the door quickly knowing her mother's character.

After successfully getting into the school bus, she giggled to herself not noticing the amount of male students eyes which were on her.

They looked at Elizabeth with lust in their eyes and some with amazement. She already looked mouthwatering before but right now...she looked irresistable.

Elizabeth brought out her phone to text teacher Nicklaus who didn't reply immediately. Tucking the phone into her bag while trying to act patient, she looked out of the moving school bus which stopped to pick up another student.

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she turned around to see her favorite teacher seating right beside her.

Her face turned so red like a girl in a forbidden relationship.

She had to look away quickly to hide her blush but it was quite obvious. A girl whose name was Riley got up to seat beside teacher Nicholas who subtly held Elizabeth's hand.

"Good morning Mr Nicholas" Nicholas raised his head which was facing down as he was replying the red kitten by his side with his free hand.

"Good morning" he replied like the good teacher he is, the teacher whom everyone looked up to. Adjusting his glasses on his face properly, he looked behind the girl before looking back at her then looking away without another word.

The girl who talked to teacher Nicholas grinned while other girls in the bus we're envious, not noticing the man whose hand wrapped tighter around Elizabeth's.

Everyone thought Riley might probably be teacher Nicholas preference and that was why the man who hardly replied students but was always chosen as the best teacher of the year replied Riley today.

Even Elizabeth felt a pang in her heart but let it go, after all the well sought out teacher was literally holding her hand in the bus.

Her phone rang with messages and she looked down to see the group was on fire again. Seeing another message she noticed it was from the man beside her and opened the message.

"Talk to me" the message said while Elizabeth looked to the side to notice the rambling Riley.

"Good morning teacher" Elizabeth's voice trembled out as her lashes fluttered. Pouting her lips while waiting for the man beside her to reply, everyone's eyes on the bus we're suddenly on her, waiting to see her embarrass herself.

"Good morning Elizabeth, how was your night?"

Everyone seemed to freeze for more than a minute before turning down to their phones and typing away at an alarming speed.

Elizabeth turned to see her phone which was about to vibrate off her lap and fall to the floor. Knowing what was going on in the group might be too much for her to handle.

"It was fine and how was yours?" Elizabeth asked back trying her luck.

"Good, you look more beautiful today Elizabeth" after saying this, Nicholas stood up and walked out of the bus which had arrived at it's destination.

Everyone's mouth were wide open while staring at the girl whose face turned so red it could compete with a tomato.

CHAPTER ONE
He adjusted his glasses walking slowly towards the girl who smiled so bright at him.

"Teacher guess what? The maths you thought me was so great. The maths teacher had to call me to his office today to ask about what I did to be so good" Elizabeth spoke immediately her favourite teacher got so close..

The man she has loved for the past two years, the most handsome teacher in the school. He was a walking perfection she couldn't have to her satisfaction.

The teacher got close enough to her and his eyes flickered behind her, noticing the boy rushing towards Elizabeth to probably talk to her.

"Let's talk somewhere else" he said to the girl who happily followed him, ignoring the call of her name which she could hear behind her. After all, this little times are the only time she could spend with her teacher.

When the boy ran close enough, he hesitated to call her name again in front of the breathtaking teacher so he had to hold back his words and take two steps back from placing a hand on her shoulder.

He walked away.

Elizabeth smiled so bright her face could split open as her cheeks were coated with red.

She followed him to an unused and abandoned classroom, her right hand reached towards her left arm to rub it as she was starting to feel goosebumps just for being in the presence of this man.

Teacher Nicklaus looked at the girl before him, whose clothes wasn't properly buttoned, and her shoulder was slightly revealed adding to her cuteness with a touch of sexiness.

She looked like a booming rose about to stun the world. He raised his hand towards her neck and his hand slightly grazed her shoulder blade. Instead of touching her exposed shoulder like Elizabeth expected him to. He pulled up her shirt collar and buttoned up her shirt.

Elizabeth smile froze and a frown appeared on her face. Didn't he like the way she looked as a woman? wasn't she attractive to him enough? She thought while her hands clentched by her side.

Nicklaus who noticed her bright eyes dim tapped her nose with his index finger.

"Elizabeth...I wish so bad to tell you what is in my heart but it's a taboo never meant to exist in this world and I'm not sure you would agree to it"

"I am ready to do as you wish" Elizabeth whispered to the man whose hands moved to rest on her cheek.

" Be mine Elizabeth"



The word seemed to echo in the silent room for some seconds before Elizabeth finally let it sink into her head.

"I would love to, teacher Nicklaus"

If only she had known that her choice would be the worst choice she has ever made, she would never had carried that step.

Now the beautiful looking fairytale looked so much like a nightmare.....

Mr Quinn walked out of the shadows circling around Sophia who covered her mouth to hold in her cries.

Her twins mouths have now been tied as their noises we're too much for Mr Quinn to handle.

"I'm sorry" Sophia whimpered again but Mr Quinn shook his head.

"The time for sorry is way past now, all your parents had to do was kill one boy. He was still young, how hard could it be. If he was dead now, the whole company would come back into my hands and his 'fake' mother would be blamed for it. Yet your family just had to act like the most reasonable couple ever. Now here you are, pleading for me to save the lives of your kids. How tragic. All you had to do was kill mine and it would have been fine, neither did you kill mine, instead you had two little buns for him. How sweet"

Mr Quinn's voice sounded smooth Making it obvious that he had been drowned with mannerism since he was younger. He walked with the gait of a strong man and his handsomeness was like that of Alaric, unmatched.

"I'm sorry" Sophia repeated. That was all she could say after all, what else.

"I do not need your filty sorry" he yelled stepping hard on her back as her injured side pressed to the ground making her scream in pain.

"Take care of her" Mr Quinn said to Ariana who came in with Anastasia and a female secretary. He told the guards to pick up the two children and follow him.

Alaric found it off that he couldn't find his wife, his phone rang as it was a call from Lucas.

"She is the one who tried to kill you. And it seems she has been planning something big these days"

Alaric didn't need a name to know who he was talking about. His eyes narrowed as she rushed home to find the children missing and his heart raced in turmoil.

He couldn't find his wife neither could he find his children. He dialed Sophia's number but it was switched off, so was Anastasia's and Ariana.

He ran out of the house to call Lucas as he got into his car again seeing all the maids in the house were missing.

"Find me my wife" he yelled into the phone, all he wanted was to see her beautiful face again as she called out to him.

Lucas who knew the situation was dire made phone calls after phone calls for footages of Mrs Sophia Quinn but everything seemed to be wiped off.

Alaric suddenly called again as the snow dropped to the ground like soft cotton balls.

"Lock down the whole damn country, it seems no one cares about my missing wife, if they can't assist to find her, we would all remain here without being able to do anything"

"Yes sir" Lucas replied gulping.

"It seems they are too free that's why they had enough time to take my wife and my children" the call was cut off and Lucas rushed to drink water while quickly carrying out his bosses orders.

A broadcast was suddenly held.

"If Mrs Sophia Quinn and her children aren't found in one piece, the whole country would pay for it"

Every news outlets picked it up immediately.

"It has been confirmed that Mrs Quinn has gone missing some hours ago-"

"Everywhere is on a standstill as everyone is searching for the missing wife of the billionaire and her children who-"

Sophia stood up with her head buzzing as three ladies stood in her front. She wiped the blood away from her lips, no matter what, her family is and would always be her top priority.

She motioned for them to come closer as a wide grin spread across her face.

"Let's tango" she spoke charging towards the three.

The intense fight began and Sophia faced Ariana first, she wanted to weaken Ariana who was obviously the best fighter then the secretary who was the second best before moving to Anastasia.

Their moves clashed as Sophia fought like her life depended on it, because it actually did. She was starting to sweat and loose so much blood but she kept going. Her leg raised high as she spinned and slammed it across Ariana's face who fainted immediately.

She continued with the secretary and Anastasia, she was starting to feel week and lose her grip. Her hand shook as she fought with all her might. Soon four ladies laid on the floor in pain.

Sophia was pale as she forced herself to get up to find her children. Locating the two who where with her children she stumbled towards them.

Mr Quinn seeing the still alive Sophia was amazed by her strength and he chuckled seeing how week she was.

"Give my children to me"she whispered not having the strength to speak.

Alaric finally got their location through the driver who saw the familiar woman he picked up on the television. He was rewarded with a sum of ten billion dollars while Alaric rushed to the location.

He called his guards to surround the place while he went in to get his family.

Sophia was already so tired and her body swayed. Mr Quinn stretched out his gun towards her and two gunshots rang out.




Sophia looked at the man who has been in a coma for two months after the accident. Everyone involved was caught and tortured before being sent to jail. Yet here her husband was still in a coma after taking a bullet for her.

She looked at her five months old kids who sucked on their pacifier while playing with her hair.

Seeing they were dousy she put them to sleep before coming back to lay beside her husband and fall asleep.

"Sophia" she heard a soft voice call and she looked up to see the familiar gray eyes staring right at her.

"I missed you" she whispered as a tear slid down her cheek.

Alaric who got to the cafe looked around to finally see Anastasia waving at him to come upstairs. He turned behind him to make sure he wasn't a target of anyone before rushing up the stairs to get this whole charade over and done with.

His hand tightened as Anastasia smiled at him then walked out of the room to leave Alaric and ariana alone in the room.

"I'm sorry" Ariana turned around and burst into tears as she fell to her knees. Alaric clenched his jaw and took a step back. What was he doing? Why did he come here in the first place? He is Alaric Quinn, no matter the chaos Anastasia caused he could quench...so why exactly was he here.

"And what are you saying sorry for?" Alaric asked, his emotions weren't like he expected. He thought when he saw her he wouldn't be able to control himself and might let her run freely into his arms but right now all he could think about was the sleeping Sophia.

He needed to go back home to his wife, to feel her soft body against his.

"I'm sorry for us Alaric, I want us to go back to the way we were. Please, I had to leave for a while, I didn't mean to but I was forced to"

"Oh, there was a 'us'" he pointed at himself then pointed at her before looking straight in her eyes. "But not anymore. I am a married man please keep your distance. What happened in the past should stay in the past"

"Thank you, I love you" she suddenly rushed into his arms and pressed her lips into his. Alaric was shocked. What did she mean my thank you?

He heard a gasp and quickly pushed ariana away only to turn around to see Sophia who immediately turned around and ran out.

"Sophia" Alaric yelled rushing after her.

Sophia ran with tears in her eyes, if it was someone else she would have said it was a set-up but knowing it's Ariana her heart felt like it was hit with an hammer.

Her phone suddenly rang and picking up the call while getting into a random taxi she heard the cry of her twins.

"Ah, guess your kids are now in save hands, goodbye to you too" Sophia heard the familiar voice that made her body shake in fear. No, not her again. She couldn't be with her children.

"Where the f**k are you" Sophia growled angrily on the phone. She didn't expect the woman to actually say her location but she did.

"Tsk, that's if you even survive to reach here".

Sophia didn't understand what was going on till she noticed the moving car, remembering she hadn't said her location. Her heart seized in fear. She turned around to see the still running Alaric already far away as he couldn't meet up with the cab.

Her hand hit the window in fear as tears rushed out of her eyes. No she must save her kids. She must make it out of here alive.

The driver gave her a sly grin opening the knife he had in his hand, Sophia hit the window harder as the car increased it's speed Making it harder for her to unarm the driver.

His face looked like that of someone who just escaped a mental asylum.

"If you do not stop the car I'll kill you" Sophia threatened but it didn't work.

"Hahaha, we are dying together anyways. If we both due, my daughter would be given a lot of money and she would be cured of her cancer "

"I can give you any money you wish, I have a lot of money. I can even transfer it to you right now"

"No, I don't need your money" he yelled at Sophia who could only hear the cries of her children loud in her ear. She couldn't take it anymore and launched at the man who fought her back leaving the steering wheel unattended to.

His hand grabbed Sophia's red hair and he yanked it as Sophia yelled in pain while the car swerved left and right.

Sophia took the knife by the blade as it cut into her hand deeply. Then she punched the man. The driver got aggravated and used the knife to stab Sophia by the side of her stomach. Sophia yelled in pain while Alaric who didn't know what was going on lost track of his wife.

Sophia pulled out the knife and suddenly stabbed the man on his bald head. The knife successfully ended him. She could see the car moving towards a tree and as quick as possible she pushed the locked door open and jumped out of the car.

Rolling on the floor in pain the car hit the tree hard and with a loud sound it suddenly exploded.

Sophia was in pain. Her hand held the side of her waist as she ran to the location called to her by Alarics biological mother. She absolutely had to save her babies.

Her hand held the bleeding spot as she flagged down a taxi driver and told him the location she wished to go. The man looked at her through the mirror with worry in his eyes but at the same time fear.

Sophia didn't care as she got out immediately she got to her destination and dropped a lot of dollar bills on the taxi man's Palm ignoring the massive change she had to collect.

Looking around, she rushed into an abandoned school which was there.

Now she could hear it clearly, the cries of her children.

Bursting into the room she saw her twins beside the fire crying in pain.

"Ah" she yelled rushing towards them only to be stopped by a gun to the head of the two children who cried harder with their faces turning red.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You actually made it. What a huge surprise" Sophia turned to see her greatest nightmare standing behind her.

She went on her knees and placed her head on the floor bowing at the woman who chuckled.

"I thought the great Donovan family bows to no one" when she said this she raised her leg to kick Sophia's injured abdomen but Sophia only let out a whimper and held in her cries.

"Please let my children go, I'll do anything you want please"

"The point is, I want nothing else but to end your whole family. Can't you understand? I despise you to my bones"

"I'm sorry" Sophia begged.

"You should be" Sophia heard another familiar voice and raised her head to see Mr Quinn coming out of the shadows.
