W.TEC is a Nigerian non-governmental organization working for the economic and social empowerment of girls and women, using information and communication technologies (ICTs). Since 2008, we have worked hard to educate the wider public about the importance of gender equality in technology through training, speaking at conferences, hosting public discussions, media interviews and presenting our results and alumnae.

As part of the Ikorodu Digital Skills Empowerment Programme, participants will now receive mentorship to help them apply their new skills, overcome challenges, and grow their businesses with confidence.

Because learning is powerful, but guidance makes it sustainable.

As the organisation sustaining Nigeria’s only dedicated residential STEM camp for girls, W.TEC relies on corporate sponsorships to keep the programme accessible and impactful.

While participants pay camp fees, these cover only about one-third of the actual cost per girl. The remaining costs are subsidised through sponsorships, helping make camp sustainable for W.TEC and more affordable for families plus those providing scholarships for girls who may otherwise be unable to attend.

This is why we invite our valued partners to support this year’s camp. Your contribution will directly advance inclusion, girls’ education, and national development, while positioning your organisation as a champion of youth empowerment.

We also encourage everyone to spread the word, as referrals have consistently helped us the most over the years to expand our impact.
