*A New Dawn in Oke *Aro: Hon. Olusegun Taiwo's Resounding Declaration Ignites *Community Spirit*

The entire Abule Ekun/Osho/Alausa/Olambe Junction zone was awash with jubilation as Hon. Olusegun Taiwo officially declared to be nominated as candidate for Councilor, representing Oke Aro/Ibaragun/Robiyan Ward 7. The event, anticipated by many, became a grand celebration of community spirit and support.

Although the event was scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM, eager supporters, party elders, and well-wishers had already gathered by 3:00 PM, their excitement palpable. The crowd, a diverse mix of elders, community leaders, women, and youth, reflected the broad appeal of Hon. Taiwo across the ward.

As the program commenced, the Zone Chairman, Mr. Ayodele Abimbola, took the stage to introduce Comrade (Chief) Olusegun Taiwo, a moment met with resounding applause. In his formal declaration, Hon. Taiwo expressed his deep commitment to serving the community, emphasizing his dedication to the welfare, development of the ward and beyond.

Throughout the event, numerous attendees, including respected elders and community stakeholders, took the opportunity to speak. Their words were filled with praise for Hon. Taiwo, highlighting his significant contributions to the community and his tireless efforts in connecting local residents to state social and welfare programs. Many young beneficiaries shared heartfelt testimonials of how Hon. Taiwo's assistance had positively impacted their lives.

One of the community elders remarked, "After reviewing the track records of all candidates vying for this position, it is clear that only Comrade Olusegun Taiwo possesses the competence and capability to fully represent our ward. His involvement in grassroot politics, youth and community development at both state and local levels has made him a role model, setting him apart from all other nominees."

*TOGETHER FOR PROGRESS: COMRADE TAIWO OLUSEGUN FOR HONOURABLE COUNCILOR, OKE ÀRÓ/IBARAGUN WARD 7*

My dear people of Oke Àró/Ibaragun Ward 7 in Ifo Local Government of Ogun State, esteemed Apex and Ward leaders, all members of our great political party, and the entire populace both within and outside our community.

I humbly greet and salute you all. As democracy has been established in our country, we have seen its dividends reflected in our governance and leadership over the years. Now, another opportunity is upon us to choose and send leaders to represent us in governance. This time, we must demand *a QUALITY, GENUINE SERVANT LEADER embedded with EXPERIENCE, CREDIBILITY AND USEFULNESS, rather than settling for less.*

*In the spirit of progress and self-determination for good governance, representation, and the continuation of community and youth development, I, your son and brother, popularly known as Comrade Taiwo Olusegun, volunteer myself to represent us at the LOWER CHAMBER of Ifo Local Government as an Honourable Councilor from OKE-ÀRÓ/IBARAGUN WARD 7 for the 2024-2027 term*

I bring on board a wealth of experience from various organizations and past leadership positions I have occupied, including:

- Olambe/Matogun Area CDC Pioneer Youth Leader
- Ifo Constituency 2 Youth Forum Co-Pioneer
- Ifo Zonal CDC Pioneer Youth Leader
- Ogun Central CDC Youth Pioneer Secretary
- And the list goes on and on.

In addition, I have occupied various public positions in political, student, and human rights activities, such as:

- Personal Assistant to the defunct Àgbàdo/Oke-Àró LCDA Honourable Vice Chairperson
- Deputy Coordinator, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Àgbàdo/Oke-Aro LCDA
- Chairman, Electoral Committee for current leadership/Exco for National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ifo Local Govt Branch
- Unit Coordinator, Ope-Ilu in Àgbàdo Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR)
- Pioneer Youth Deputy Coordinator, All Farmers Association of Nigeria Ifo LGA
- Provost, Department of Music and Aspirant, Student Representative Council Member - SRC the rep Faculty of Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife
- The Vice President, the School (Ultimate) Drama group and Treasurer, Mass Communication of The Polytechnic, Ile Ife respectively.

Religiously, I have been appointed as the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigerian Youth Leader for Agbado/Oke-Àró Province II, following my antecedents and the Annual Nigeria Independence All Night Praises/Concert (October 1st), Easter contributions, and other community engagements. I have also initiated and participated in programs related to Islamic youth affairs during and after Ramadan, Iftar, among others.

Other opportunities I bagged during my activism and struggled as youth, community and humanitarian were various awards of excellent performance, dedicated service and on Leadership. A chieftaincy title of Asoju Odo (A Youth Ambassadorial title conferred by a ruling royal family). Also, was appointed as Ifo Zonal Crimes Marshal (Officer) alongside the then Ifo ZEO now she's director in the ministry, my appointment later promoted to State Commandant for Ogun state (within three months of voluntary serviced) by National School Crimes Prevention Corps under Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Oke - Mosan, Abeokuta which today provided my current profession that serves and feeds me on regular basis.

This will interest you to know that I have not only occupied various positions or seized opportunities but have also immensely contributed to the lives, development, and growth of various communities and the people within and beyond my scope. I have moved many motions, suggested, and agitated favorably for my people at any privileged times. I have defended, saved, and liberated victims of various cases. I have organized programs, sensitized the public on various needs, initiated ideas toward better living, influenced and executed plenty of projects single-handedly and in collaboration with corporate individuals and groups, mentored, and birthed leaders for tomorrow. I have also personally established and jointly provided formidable various solidified groups, solidarity support and need to individuals and communities in cash and kinds.

Moreover, I have created wealth, businesses, and ideas that provide employment opportunities and put food on the tables of many, without any involvement in crime. By God's grace and the support of very important people in government, political office holders, charity, communities, families, friends, and associates, all of these achievements have been possible.

I want to use this medium to say a BIG THANK YOU to you all once again and ASK FOR YOUR COUNTLESS SUPPORT in this new race for the continuity of my good WILL. Let us ensure that credible, experienced, courageous, successful, and passionate people
